It doesn't work with discord. It stays at bottom of other ext where they say 'No access needed'. hop this was helpfull.
It saves the file without the proper filename and w/o extension.
As of 9/9/21 it Doesn't work. Sad, would have been helpful.
simple yet practical! thanks!
It works on some pages I think? The option doesn't appear in the context menu in any cases where I actually needed to download the images. Unfortunately had to go with another solution.
I love this extension. I use it every day. Wish it was still being updated.
Doesnt work with facebook
Works about 1 in 10 attempts. Useless
Barely works anymore.
I was about to make this my main because ODM has some bugs but I discovered you can't save images that are linked instead of direct on the page, has some really good potential though for simple work
Does not work...
No longer works. Needs to be updated or replaced.
pz update it or make new one
Great extension! It's exactly what I was looking for. Thank you!
It worked once and then never again :(
nice apps
1 day using it now the next not work.
very useful
good
Bad for slow connections. Re-downloads images that are already downloaded.
Does NOT work.
there used to be a small icon set top left of every picture viewed just one click that picture was saved to default download folder why was this stopped or is there a app that still does this
It's ok, but it re-downloads the image instead of using the one from the cache which is already downloaded by Chrome/Chromium. Waste of bandwidth if you are saving large and too many image files.
right click on image , there is no save option .. don't bother
Doesn't work at all.
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, with no explanation when it doesn't work. Too unreliable.
the best one-click image saving plugin i've ever used in Chrome. Simple & does exactly what I need. Works perfectly w/ multiple Chrome-core browsers, such as QQ Browser, Vivaldi and Chrome.
If you same as me hate the prompt window of browser which asks the path to download, so this is a must!
sometimes is saves the images, sometimes it doesnt (in either way it doesnt tell you if it cant savbe the image so it's up to you to read this plugins mind or have to check after each image, whether or not this thing saved it).. kinda useless...
It still prompts in explorer what folder to select. So it behaving no different from right click> save image as. I do remember it working in the past however. probably a win 10 thing!
It doesn't prevent save-file dialog from popping up in Mac OSX, so the only difference from the built-in "Save image As..." functionality is that the Downloads directory is pre-selected so you are not supposed to traverse into it on your own. But this usually matters just while you are downloading your first image. Definitely, the behaviour is not exactly the same you can find in Safari.
It works but it also occasionally corrupted files that I then had to go back and re-download because I had no idea they were bad until I went and reviewed that actual images. Going back and retrying the download with this extension would again cause a corrupted image but downloading using the standard image save feature in Chrome worked fine. So there's certain images that this extension appears to have problems with.
Does the job but doesn't work on embedded pop up images, just images directly on the page. It's a shame that you haven't found the workaround yet
Works as advertised, just wish there was a setting to save pictures to a specific folder (without a popup) But I can move them from the downloads folder into my Pictures folder.
Best extension ever!!
I REALLY AM AMAZED AT THE QUANITY OF EDITING PHOTOS ON PIZAP
It puts the save to downloads dialog in my right click menu, but it doesn't actually do anything.
Helpful , thanks a lot
Pity you could not click a thumbnail and it downloads largest image
Works on most pics, not on all of them, though.
Works perfectly. May I make a suggestion for a more subtle looking icon in the context menu?
Would be great to also have a "Save Link to Downloads"
love it. I only think this should have options so we could change the place where to store image files..
This extension no longer works. Also it doesn't access the cache, instead it grabs the file from the remote server again. Additionally it doesn't allow you to save the image to anywhere except the downloads (cannot change the default root) - so it is very counterproductive.
Works. Would like to choose folder to download to. Even better, set up three or four entries for my most common folders. Also, on a name collision I'd like a prompt for Overwrite, Rename, Cancel. (Firefox has an extension that does those last two.)
If you just add a way to set a different folder just for image and not perm stuck on the download folder and this would be a home run.
Great simple little extension. Not sure why Chrome doesn't have this built in as it's built into Safari. It'd be even better if there was a key comb + mouse click that would save images to the download folder. Perhaps a command+shift+click (or some other combo) to save an image.
Very good! Save me lots of time. can u do an Extension so its gets even easier? If you just hover over an image I would like to see a button "Save to downloads". Saves you a right lick more.
Doesn't work 90% of the time
Very helpful. Would be perfect if you could select a folder to always download to. I keep non-image file types in Downloads and images in a certain file within that, so I still need to separate and drag all the images. Also, the option to list different folder destinations in the right-click menu, and to automatically enumerate each picture would be incredibly useful.
Super easy. I was looking for this.
Option to change save location would be nice.
this would be amazing if i could change the destination
I have several image folders, if this extension had an option to have them all listed I would love it.
