easily one of the best extensions for crunchyroll! i bought the crunchyroll subscription to watch one piece but the anime felt slow so i wanted to change the speed to 1.5x but guess what? CRUNCHYROLL DOESNT HAVE THE PLAYBACK SPEED OPTION! honestly disappointed in crunchyroll good thing i found this extension now i can watch anime in whatever speed i like!

Exactly what you want it to be

No more small video player, No longer tempted to waste time looking at comments sections. No more vignette on the video player when I pause (why is that a standard thing across all streaming services, anyway?). Perfect.

mainly wanted it for the speed increase, works great and like the changes.

Brilliant Makes it hard to watch Crunchyoll on the app on my phone/TV now. This extension takes Crunchyroll to the next level bringing up to par with other streaming services like Netflix/Disney

Playback speed was previously working but not right now, every time I try now it goes to the previous page.

we need too a filter to show only dubbing in a specific language like one ctrl+f

I like it but somehow the auto-skip feature doesn't work.. that's kinda the reason I got it?

Think of a video player that can amaze and surprise at a lack of features including skip ahead/backward, simple buttons for bigger players or really any settings at all. You are probably now thinking of Crunchyroll, because it's such hot garbage and the developers working there were clearly recruited from the far depths of Antarctica frozen in ice. No one has heard of "video" before yet they were plopped in front of a screen, shown a keyboard, and said to make a video player. They then made Crunchyroll's video player in record time of 2 hours for free. This extension makes it usable. One person has made an entire site usable for paying customers of said site without taking any donations himself. Thank you to the developer of this extension for doing what a team of Neanderthals could not!

Honestly one of the best extensions ever made. Surprising how an extension is able to implement all these things before the actual website has. Only extension I have found for crunchy roll that actually works. Easy to navigate the UI as well. 10/10 everything works perfectly.

playback speed Doesnt work

Superb!! The only suggestion I have is to revive the deprecated player's function of going forward one frame with Shift + > and backwards with Shift + <. It was a wonderful feature of the old official crunchyroll, so it would be great to have that back, even if just through your amazing app.

Is there an option to enable 21:9 while in full screen? If not I would love to see that added in the future. Thank you!

This extension really does improve on the CrunchyRoll experience. There is the "skip intro" buttons. Fast forward and rewind. Instead of the smaller screen experience that regular ChrunchyRoll offers this offers "theater mode" and the quality doesn't take a hit. Hide side bar is nice too. Only two dislikes that I came across. One being the stats toggle for the video had shown on the screen. I'm assuming that this extension brought that to the foregrounds because that never happened before. It's nice but I can't find it under regular means and when it appears there is no way to collapse it without refreshing the site. Also there are two skip intro buttons. One on the left side of the screen with the fast-forward button and one the appears on the right, after the video starts playing. Nothing major. Honestly, kinda surprised that CrunchyRoll hadn't bought this extension and integrated it right into the site.

Overall very good, love theater mode, however the skip intro hasnt been working for me. On some shows like Attack on Titan there simply is no skip intro option, then on others like Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood it skips all but the intro and ending (once the opening finishes it gives the option to skip to the timestamp of the end credits).

great extension but as of today the playback speed settings and theatre mode button are just gone for some reason, the shortcuts still work fine though. Any fixes?

Does what it says it does, adds features that are very much needed and standard in most other sites, no bugs so far. Great app. Also, the permissions are limited to exactly what is needed and nothing more, the same can't be said for many other apps. Thanks developer!

This was working fantastic yesterday. However it's not working today. Thomas, can you confirm this also works for the beta version of Crunchyroll. I love this tool as it helps me binge anime faster and also skip those annoying introduction cutscenes. Thanks!

One of the best crunchyroll extension I use.

This is the best extension I've used. I haven't encountered a single problem in the time I've been using it. My favorite features are the subtitle removal and theater mode! Thank you to the developer, your work is appreciated.

The best chrunchyroll extension till now. it got even better when added the skip intro and ending buttons. it sure would not have been easy to collect the data to enable this function. If it added the option to turn the skip AUTOMATIC it would me marvelous, perfect, explendid!!!!!! I would even pay for that, really. -------------------------------------NEW----------------------------------------------------------- At least you should make it optional. I think you say it s not perfect because the skip intro and ending are not 100% perfect in all cases and may skip more than it should. but for me, till now the time is really perfect. So if i had the option to turn on the skips to be automatic it would solve the problems to those who don t want it to be automatic either, for them is just to let it turned off.

Its super good, but it doesn't give me an option to change the playback speed, so I was wondering if it is going to be fixed anytime soon. Everything else is perfect

Best extension ever for Crunchyroll, a complete must have in my opinion. With how much anime i'm binging on spring break, this saved me a lot of time and nothing but props to the dev. Thank you so much!

It's beyond pathetic that Crunchyroll hasn't updated their web player to have these basic features, but I digress. This small addon will pretty much bring the Crunchyroll experience up to modern standards. It somehow adds a "skip intro" button that I wasn't expecting, too. Really good work, here.

This is just amazing, the only thing I wanted to change was the fast forward and backward buttons on the player... they are kind of huge compared to the other buttons, i think they would be better the same size as the other buttons. But still, Im glad this extension exists, I appreciate the hard work Thomas :D

So far this extension is great. I really like the dark mode and the option to skip 30 and 90 seconds. One problem I encountered while using this was when sometimes when I try to press the full screen button it pauses the video. Please fix because it can get annoying at some times.

Best crunchyroll extension by far. It really improved my experience and made me feel like I was on the real anime netflix. Highly recommend you add skip intro and next episode buttons if possible but mad props to you for coding this. After all the updates it's literally flawless, there aren't enough great reviews. Just installed it and so far so good! This is perfect, not to mention this came out at least in 2019 and the last update was YESTERDAY. Shoutout to the developer Thomas for keeping this going, thank you!!

So far it's performing very well. The only thing that I've found that I'd really like to be added are configurable hotkeys for time-skips. For example, while the page is in focus, ctrl+arrow-key = 30s and shift+arrow-key = 1m30s skip.

After going through many Crunchyroll "fixes", this one ACTUALLY does it all. Full-screen that works and can even remove the scroll bar. I hope this stays updated since Crunchyroll is clearly incapable of implementing simple things their users obviously want.

now if we could somehow customize subtitles like make them transparent or dark that would be cool.

I really like this extension, but when I go full screen the sides get cut off a bit. Almost as if it's always in full screen mode but the fullscreen button just zooms in more... If that makes sense.

This is without a doubt the best extension for dark mode on Crunchyroll by a lost shot. All the other extensions didn't feel this natural, props to you Thomas! The additional features are also great and the UI is simple and easy. Would it be possible to modify and expand the Queue in a future update? I'd love to have separate tabs like Watching, Watchlist, On Hold, and Finished to keep better track of all the shows I've watched, and other extensions just don't get it right. Other than that, this is very deserving of 5 stars!

It's a pretty good extension, the features work very well, and it doesn't affect video performance or other features any negatively. I think most people would love it, however, I uninstalled it because the features didn't interest me enough, or I had alternatives, to keep it installed, but it's still a wonderful extension.

I would like to see this beautiful extension uploaded on Microsoft edge store as well, so I wont have to manual update every time. Also, there's one suggestion, can you remove the dim screen thingy whenever we pause or just have the mouse moving around in the player?

I didn't like this at all. The whole reason i added this was becasue everytime i would watch anime it would keep buffering. This only sometimes works like 30% of the time whenever my video started buffering it would fix itself and the other 70% of the time it didn't work at all. This does almost absouluetly nothing

It's a really nice extension, I can't think of anything it's missing, I would recommend this to my friends who use crunchyroll, actually i'm going to share this to them right now!

I absolutely love these features, but I would ask if you could add a feature where it will stay in full screen when it goes to the next episode. But other than that this extension is absolutely amazing. - edit: I just made google chrome full screen and that made it look like full screen but thank you for sharing that with me good sir.

It's a great app. It uses all of the website's real estate to show the video. I strongly recommend it.

Great extension & well supervised. The creator values your feedback and has done a great job implementing a variety of features across the site that Crunchyroll should have implemented themselves years ago. I contacted the creator about a feature of marking episodes/series as watched and the results were beyond my expectations. Highly recommend giving the extension a shot (You can use it on Chrome, Firefox, Opera & New Microsoft Edge). Dev should consider setting up a donation link ^^

This extension is honestly great, it has saved me countless minutes and I love all the features! Dark mode and the fast forward buttons are great. I highly recommend this for anyone using crunchy roll. I however, encountered a problem on the fast forward buttons. This may either be user error or the extension itself. I'll edit this part out when it does get fixed. Although even without the fast forward buttons everything works perfectly! I didn't notice crunchy roll becoming any more slower and its pretty fast! Again, I highly recommend this extension, it needs way more attention.

Video doesn't load when this extension enabled.

Videos don't load while extension is on, just keeps buffering. I hope this can be fixed as it was very useful beforehand.

This really does improve your experience in using Crunchyroll. It has everything that is stated in the description. Though I wish there are speed controls on it.

I was looking for something more like youtube's "theatre mode" where the video isn't the whole window, but still bigger than the usual tiny crunchyroll player.

Updating review: The Dev works on constantly updating the addon and replies quick to any issues, i changed my review to match the hard work, quick response time and the quality of the addon when working :) Highly Recommend for those who want to press a single button to skip OP's since they tend to be 90s long as standard and for an easy way to skip back not far if you need to or foward. I did like this player up until 3 days ago, it was working fine, now it just shows the bigger video, the skip forward and back and teh continue to the next episode features all stopped working and vanished. what happened ?

I wished I would of known about this so I didn't always have to get up to press the f button
