Shopback rebates takes forever to be credited ....some are still pending since last Dec 2022.... I am quite sure it is becoming a SCAM now

Too many rejections and have to wait months on end to get cashback validated.

Doesn't seem to activate when I go to the Samsung website through the extension. It does not say "Cashback Activated".

never connect to the store in the first click, always have to refresh the tab for it to load correctly. Not good enough.

Works great. Cashback is not very much, but it's real and ends up in my shopback account which I can withdraw to my PayPal.

It makes browsing and shopping so easy and makes sure you track and get back every little cent from your purchases, The pop up is quick to log into and easy to close so it's not constantly hovering in the foreground.

To start with forever needing to log into the extension rather than stay logged in secondly takes a long time to earn $10 and thirdly getting help for issues is hard and time consuming then lastly payouts are not in time frame they quote.

Chrome extension works great. Also love the tagline in Google search.

It's terrible that I can't blacklist this extension on certain websites where I never want to use shopback, for example xbox cloud gaming - I'm only here to play games, and this stupid extension decides to have a floating box that I can move around but not remove. Absolutely poor. I also prefer other cashback methods for some other sites, so having Shopback's persistently asking to activate while trying to shop (usually where the shopping cart button is as well) is an absolute pain. Can't I just have an extension that I can click on in the toolbar when I actually want to?

This mob is very slack! Often after using shopback button, it does NOT track! Then they expect you to lodge a complaint in 30 days . . . even 'though it's their fault!! I AM LODGING A CASE WITH FAIR TRADING because of this!!!

Love the extension and the fact it prompts me to claim when I go to a website. I find myself purchasing from websites that have cashback over a competitor, so I am securing a nice little nest egg!

Absolutely love shopback. And this extension also. Helped me inform all the related info about cashback, discounts, etc

The latest updates of extension is too intrusive, the popup disables certain functions in the browser like copying text and pressing certain buttons. The only work around is to disable the extension because you can not "close" the popup.

This is the most helpful extension. literally saves you money you would have otherwise had lost when shopping online. I have used it this past year and used it as a little savings account i know is behind me as a backup for a rainy day - SO SO SO helpful. recommend it to everyone (with my referral code)

Its good but the plugin always tries to take over the browser and with floating tool that gets in the way of buttons on a webpage. Its a bit abusive so I had to deactivate and only turn it on when I am about to purchase something.

Automatically pop-out when eligible to apply...no more miss my cashback.

update 7.0.7 causing degraded performance on sites like youtube. please fix it

Used to be convenient however the latest update comes up with a really annoying pop up in the top right corner of the screen and the software is also buggy as hell. It makes Chrome boost to 100% CPU usage and everything slows to a crawl. I had to reinstall Chrome a few times and even toyed with the idea of jumping to Edge browser before I isolated the bug. It is now basically trash tier extension. Not only is the UI worse with the pop up it actually causes Chrome to be unusable.

Please remove that annoying floating thing. "REMOVE" not "MOVE".

Hate it - does what it says so useful, but hate the new unremovable pop up that stops me interacting with webpages as I can't remove it. I am removing this app and will stick to cashrewards.

Theres an overlay that blocks the top right corner of your webpage and no option to hide it. Have to uninstall

The new suggestion pop blocks access links on page, I can't find a way to hide it either. I faced this problem when I go to jbhifi site and not able to view or access cart icon

For some reason, the latest update to this extension causes Chrome's native page translation feature to freeze, stutter and lag when you try to translate pages. Everything works fine again once (only) the ShopBack extension is disabled. What a weird bug.

Have always been able to activate it for Ebay purchases but all of a sudden, it has stopped working. Chatted to Shopback customer service and was flatly told this extension is not available for Ebay purchases. That I have to use their website, click on the Ebay's related links to activate shopback. So I guess this extension is not officially endorsed by Shopback.

Having used a couple of other 'cashback' sites, I must say that so far I'm impressed with ShopBack. The proof of the pudding will be when it comes time to cash in the money that is accrued. But - so far, so good!

I like this app, but hardly for me to do online shopping via shopback because i always forget to open the apps.. i would like to direct open to the apps that i want to buy.

Appreciate service offered by Ms Lily of Shopback Customer Service. She is very efficient & helpful to look into my shopback transaction issue, of which seller refuse to honor the cashback. With her constant follow-up actions and assistance for months, this case was finally resolved. Really thanks for her Great Job & Effort.

Was pretty awesome in the initial years. These days, it's fairly obvious that prices jump once Shopback is activated - have witnessed this across several sites on numerous occasions. Often times, it is significantly more expensive with Shopback activated (even after cashback). Possibly better off without!

Used to be great but now I have to log in EVERY time - which is made even more annoying by the fact that to log in you have to enter your email address, hit submit, then enter your password - at least have them on the same screen. Or better yet, fix the issue where it no longer keeps users logged in.

the apps always down.. especially for TaoBao. Airasia and Agoda, quite a number of experience, didnt capture the spending.

Latest version has added a sidebar to websites such as Amazon with an annoying button and popup to compare prices. Can't find anywhere to disable this intrusive "feature". Will be uninstalling and going with Cashrewards instead.

Added an obnoxious button to the screen which can't be disabled in options nor closed completely on affiliate sites. Time to disable this extension and use their competitor Cashrewards only.

Does not work 90% of the time

Works well for me just need to make sure understand the ordering discount criteria and the click though. Good practice to look at the discount criteria and caveats and add new to cart.

"Shopback Buddy is asleep"? He's been asleep for weeks. How is that possible? Meanwhile the Cashrewards buddy Chrome extension keeps popping up without problems. This bug will cost Shopback partners a lot of $$$ if it's not fixed.

Easily used on my chromebook. The extension informs me when the icon moves up and down to let me know if website I am on offers shopback. Have had some issues with cashback not coming through but they were sorted out. One wasn't but that was early days, at least 6 months ago. The reason for the 5 stars is that they have improved and you are getting something for shopping which unfortunately I love to do. Given my desires include freedom and less consumption, I will need to try to curb my purchases to essentials. Love the app, thanks. At times the offer seems good but it isn't like with Catch 11% off but check the details which show it is still 3% for all except beauty. So check carefully if you wanted to get something as you may find you are not eligible.

Shopback rejects orders that are placed again after cancellation a few hours ago. I think Shopback does this on purpose so that they can skip the payout, even though I placed the new order after connecting to shopback as well.

Read around before you use this. Common thread of issue is as soon as theres a large cashback to be paid they dispute that they dont have any record of the transaction. Personally small transactions they paid, my largest cashback claim they argued and said they have no record.

I did like it,however it now says, Sorry, it seems like Shop back is asleep. It has been like this for days. Thereby, making the app useless.

WARNING: This stupid extension never worked although it would say ACTIVATED. I just realised that none of my historical transactions activated using Shopback Chrome extension were actually recognised. ONLY the ones using Shopback website portal directly worked. AND, I cannot claim anymore because all of them have past 30 days. Wasted me a lot of time (and) money. What a lame tech team really!

Love this extension. Makes tracking shopback so easy. It does take a few months to process the cash back which is annoying but this helps keep track of it all.

This apps has been laterally force by ShopBack to install. Goodbye ShopBack.

Often lots of online stores have the 'shop.app' payment method now and cashback turns off during this process & can't be turned on. Have also been waiting on a cashback confirmation for about 9 months now. Although it's a great concept, it isn't very reliable unfortunately!

Recently stopped working properly. Could not activate eventhough tried closing and reopening browser.

What an amazing Cashback experience it provides.

I dislike that the shopback website forces you to download this extension to finalise your withdrawals. Don't know whether that's by design or a design flaw. Either way, customers shouldn't be forced to download this.

Have found that shop back no longer wants to work on Shein .com Very disappointing as I use Shein alot and now your app wont work on this companies website unless you are a 1st time user. Bad move Shein and shopback. You will be losing a good customer.

Deliberately used Shopback via Chrome on eBay for a $600 purchase instead of eBay app. Somehow it has magically disappeared and has not registered and will not be honored. Don't bother. I will withdraw my funds and tell EVERYONE i know not to use this. REALLY REALLY angry.

The new extension never registers the orders from Shopee. Already make payment from Shopee but does not registered in cashback apps. totally disappointed.

Love this extension! Have been using it for years and be mindful that some shops won't release your cashback for awhile but overall we have received around $600 in cashbacks over about 3 years :) Highly recommend and have never had any issues :)

I LOVE IT! Such a good thing to have it as an extension as I would sometimes make purchases without thinking of signing in through Cashback but having it as an extension has helped me majorly. I think its really useful especially around Christmas time in lockdown
