Great Extension! I'm having a problem with the file being cut off on the right side after I save. Any help?
LOVE THIS ADDON ACTUALLY remembers where I last saved in the same directory everytime unlike singlefile
One of the most useful and consistently working extension!
Out of my 12 years on the Internet, This is the first time I am reviewing a tool or an app. I was going through a nanodegree course on Udacity and I didn't have enough time to complete it because I have work and I can't afford to miss that course because it is very expensive both in price and value. This extension and IDM have come to my rescue and I was to save all part of the course from Chapter 1 to 5. Thank you to the developer of this extension. Thank you might not be enough to express my joy but I so much love this extension. Wish you people more success in making life easier for the world.
Great job! .. Didn't look closely enough the first time through the options. Looks like it pulls all of the necessary code to the single HTML file.
Not sure how this is different from File -> Save As... in the browser. I tried it on a website, opened the result (which was much too fast to be the entire website), and it was just the one page as an .html with links to the online versions. I already get that from Save As in Chrome, Firefox, etc.
One of the best chrome extension in the market Developers, is it possible to share the code with us? Also, is there any automated way of downloading all the tabs in a single go?
Not working. Says 27 of 344 resources are not working, and change some setting. I followed it and increased loading time to be 20, still not working. I'm not sure but it could be because picture is wimg format.
this best extension I want, almost 100% the same to origin page
It works perfectly. thank you
Hi. What happened to the shortcuts? I used to use Alt+A (Option+A) to save pages earlier, but now it doesn't work. Is it coming back?
Nice, easy, compatible. Produces basic html pages.
Too bad, was looking forward to this working but it doesn't...at all! Won't save anything neither in Basic or Standard mode even when trying the tweaks suggested by the error page that comes up when it fails to save.
Finally an MHTML exporter that can correctly download complex websites as well.
It works well. Is there anyone who knows to link mother page to subpages??
Great page saver, though it saves most pages faithfully however, some pages may save with some slightly broken styles or some webpages might just cause the extension to never complete the saving process and just hang the extension.
Excellent extention with smooth user experience, very helpful! I used it to save pages as self-learning material when offline either accidently or intentionally (to prevent from being distracted).
this is what i need
Good in general. Hope there was a hotkey(or did I missed it?) for action.
Fantastic piece of kit, works flawlessly, all in one webpage save, that works, properly
it is amazing! If only you add more featuers like save to cloud or auto saving, it would be perfect.
fantastic! super easy to use.
this extension is so useful. it saved most of the elements of the webpage on most websites. cool
This is a must-have for me. I use it for saving pages that I don't have the time to take notes or get the info from. Or archiving my own pages or other pages that I don't want to bookmark, but have for later perusing. It's also great for saving pages that might be altered or removed; I can keep them safe in my archive. Others have mentioned how this method is better than the 'built-in" method that creates a folder and pulls a ton of files into it. This is a more elegant method.
fast but the default save replaced links to videos with images with no links.
Best one!
Just works!
Simply Great
Such a happy user of this extension. I've had no issues with it at all. Especially the automation has help me save so many hours. I have quick question to the community/developers. Do you know any extenstion/tool that can be used to highlight/annotate the downloaded HTML file? I figured I could get some help here. The extensions I tried are able to annotate live online webpages, but I can't seem to highlight local HTML files(saved using SavePageWE). Has anyone dealt with this use case? I'd be really grateful if you could point me in the right direction!
Make sure you pin the extension to the top-right. Don't use 'save as'. Doing that just saves a page full of random rubbish.
Really helpful. Thank you very much for developing this extension ❤❤
You have to keep right-clicking to do anything. The options are "Basic," "Standard," and "Custom," which is not very ellucidatory. No URL information is provided in the download, so that you don't know the source of the download.
perfecccccccccct. thanks
This is SOOOOO close to what I want. As it is, it's good enough. The only thing that would improve it, and that I desperately hope is added, is a way to actually open the original URL from the saved content easily. I know Chrome has a Bookmark Manager, but I'm looking for a way to save webpages to project folders so that they are there along with docs and excel files and things. Often, just being able to open the old webpage content like this provides is good enough. But sometimes I might want to open the current version of the page, and I can't figure out how to provide that with this extension.
It's excellent. Just curious, how it is different from SinglePage. I noticed the same page saved with this extension has size of 3.** MB while saved with SinglePage has size of 1.** MB.
Amazing! Save the whole page into a html file, making it easier to deploy the page in multiple system such as my linux based sever so I can read it on my phone or pad once I upload it to my sever.
One of the best solutions for quickly backing up website locally smoothly in a single HTML file
This was useful even when after you edited the page then you need to save page specifically for that reason.
This is it chief
Worked perfectly for my use case. Excellent extension. Thank you very much!
Excellent extension, used everyday. love it.
I used this to save the titles of YouTube videos on a channel, saved everything as HTML as if it's an actual page! Well done
Excellent
Saves everything in one single html file.
Awesome!!
I love it very good experience.
An extremely useful and user friendly extension. It downloads the entire webpage in one HTML file, with all the resources. Much better than the default chrome method, where a folder is created if one opts for complete webpage.
I just run into a situation that repeated ajax requests for heartbeat and messages purposes running in background will halt the saving process.
Best :)
Its works! That all you need to know
Completely breaks Javascript
It works great! One suggestion: can we set the path of saved html file? Or can we connect to cloud drives and save the file to cloud?
Bad experience. Should have worked flawlessly but every other webpage that I tried to save showed me the error of "some resources could not be loaded" while not having issues with other such extensions. Dev should check his app and then release it. Full of bugs and doesnt do a simple task of saving a complete webpage. Will wait for a better update or uninstall for alternative.
Excellent! Love it.
This is a LIFE SAVER. Great plugin that is absolutely necessary. The only problem I have is that since this is marked as GPL 2 it requires the source be released and I do not yet see the source available for review or download.
Works great! Packed with features, too.
A++++++++++++++++
Tremendously useful tool to have in your toolbox for saving complete web pages offline, this is an extremely useful web extension. Sure, if you're looking to save a single page, you wouldn't bother installing a browser extension to do that, it comes into it's own for saving multiple pages, say a folder of favourites you've created that you can open all in one go and then save, or for automating the download of a file of external links. Combined with other tricks and you can wire up a great automated download tool for saving multiple pages. This is made possible through the extensive range of config options the developer has thought to add. It works and works well. Highly recommended and well supported. Top marks!
LOVEEEEEEEEE
Great extension! Unfortunately, I can't see any difference between saving modes but that's not a big deal. I wonder if the author accepts pull requests.
I am white.
Seems works nice, but it does not work at all for pages opened locally. For example I have a javadoc downloaded, and I would like to share with my friend only one page but save all css/media resources to show this page properly. When I press on icon, or Save button in context menu, being on page saved locally - It does not do anything. Nothing shows etc.
Downloads an empty zipped folder.
It works really well. Thing only thing that would be nice is if it would spider linked web pages.
The resulting asset still references assets from the original site. Because of this, I cannot recommend this plugin for archiving websites; once the original site is down, the documents produced by this script will cease to function.
Ok... Someone needs to tell me ASAP why saving basic pages that have text and 2 or 3 images makes a 15 MB file, and saving the sames page with chrome or firefox makes 314 KB file, AND I CANT SEE ANY DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO..
I just love this extension. Makes my Life easier ....... There are many pages with inbuilt print functionality by the website providers that just doesn't work properly and saves a crappy version of PDF. But with this extension I was able to save the exact replica of the web page. I thank the developers for this extension.
Great extension! Just one thing, i want to disable the Alt + A shortcut...
only way store html with mathjax corretly huge thanks.
after trying 10 to 15 extension this is the best . >save quickly and >auto rename duplicate file , >does not block using website while saving
Just need a batch save all opened tabs feature.
I am having trouble archiving my DeviantArt favorites. The scrolling/lazy load is making images be missing. I tried selecting the 'force lazy load' option but it's still missing images.
Perfect, exactly what I needed thanks.
I did not expect such a great performance! The page goes offline and only takes one file. Great stuff and thank you!
This is awesome
Very great
Great Extension to save webpages! Thanks Devs!
Perfect extension to save web pages.
Did you try to save a twitter page ? Does not work, exactly like the built-in chrome save
Crazy and perfect
My Day is not complete without this extension, it's easy as well as handy compare to screenshot.
WOWWWWWWW..............................................This is an awesome extension!!!!!! It lets you save a webpage as a single HTML file without the annoying separate folder,
Bloody awesome!
exceptional extension... necessary to ensure good documentation doesn't disappear from unreliable things like blogs
Fantastic extension. It's a shame the modern browsers don't give a thing to decent offline modes. And great such extensions and developers still exist to save us. 10/10!
Thank you sir for such a handy extension! Now my e2e tests contains only HTML files packed tighty with their resources, which reduces clutter.
I've always insisted on making mht possible, but "Save Page WE" is FAR better. Great work.
would you consider add a "save selected items" option?
Superb!
It saved one picture and thats all.. Uff..what a catastrophe!
There is no option "don't use scripts in saved file" There is no option to save article only, or to save highlighted area only. Moved to another extension.
Excellent. I was having real trouble saving pages with images for reference, because of Chrome's chronically broken setup. The annoying thing was this was all sorted out years ago and was a trivial matter, but somehow it all got broken again. This fixed it.
so awesome. you can save a page and can even view it in notepad
Perfect! Thanks!
04/10/2019: Not working anymore as of today's update. 05/06/2019: Thank you for fixing it in 14.0, back to being awesome.
very good awasome tool thanks
★★★★★
This is working really well for me. One of the things I use it for is to save "unpublished" pages to review or share with others who are not logged into a particular account. It's also helpful for archiving pages. It's really nice to have everything in a single file instead of an html file that references images and scripts in a separate folder which you need to keep with the HTML file. 5-Stars for ease-of-use and effectiveness. Well done, DW-dev! Thank you.
this is my must-have extension. Way better than archiving web pages into Evernote or Onenote. I can use Dropbox for sync functionality!
This is an awesome extension. It lets you save a webpage as a single HTML file without the annoying separate folder, and also has a variety of options for how the HTML should be saved and what should be included. I have also used Save As MHT on Chrome OS and unMHT on Firefox, and Save Page WE often seems to do a better job saving webpages than the MHT add-ons/extensions (sometimes, for example, an embedded scroll box will not work in the MHT file but it will in the HTML file). Also, considering Firefox is breaking a lot of their add-ons including unMHT with their new Web Extensions add-on format, having webpages backed up as HTML instead of MHT seems to be safer and compatible with more browsers.
Handy
Excellent. Would like to be able to automate this to save multiple URLs.
what the purpose of it? if chrome has chrome://flags/#save-page-as-mhtml
The BEST way to arxiv the webpage. Much better than "print to PDF" which break the format.
Bladdy useful. Does exactly what I need.
Excellent
no autosave feature? useless.
Nice, good ! at list HTML pages in only file. Used on Linux Chromium.
Seriously, seriously awesome. Converts all resources to text/blob data; the page displays as before, but with nothing loaded over the wire (you can even check DevTools). Massive props to the developer :)
