The extension stopped working. Whenether its country blocking or other problem, when opening throught second vpn - it shows server list as it was working before. Developers fix the error please.

I've used this extension for years and loved it, but since a few days ago it reveals my IP address, even though it connects to the servers! Various IP checking sites now read my real IP correctly and know my location. I tried reinstalling the extension, reinstalling the browser, restarting my PC. I even tried installing Opera and using the extension with it, and the problem isn't limited to Chrome. Has something major been broken? I hope it'll get fixed soon.

This is excellent VPN. Just wish to be free in android and windows. Think about Firefox users, too. The Speed is magnificent.

Please UPDATE your 2019 software for your Chrome website VPN! It crashes after connected to websites. I believe it needs updated with the latest software and it will be a good VPN. Thanks.

Netherland IP never works

This is a wired VPN - it is free, it is fast (average), but it connects to different locations silently while i choose someplace else manually. Very suspicious right? Then How do I know that? Very Simple Test - i went to YouTube, it shows me GB instead of DE (i choose). Easiest test right? So lastly - My Reaction? To uninstall it, write a honest review, switch back to Proton VPN for windows 10 on My laptop.

Yesterday was fine. This morning everything stops and I simply cant use it. Internet is out. But if I disconnect AVira VPN net immediately my internet returns .Fortunately I found a new VPN add.one that works like a charm!!!!!

Gonna make an Honest review here. I have used this extension for 3+ years Free and it hasn't failed me; it is one of the fastest and secure VPNs I have used so far with it's simple UI. However... the reason I rated this 3 stars is because I noticed they lock me from using specific VPN regions every few months. In order to use the other VPN Regions, you need to pay for a Pro. As of today they locked every single VPN region for me to use Free but not Germany. It really sucks to see this VPN going from Free to Pro, because it has the potential to be better than it's other Free VPN service competitors. I would say it's worth paying for, but don't download this VPN if you plan to use it Free.

It works so well, i was having some problems to connect with omegle and then when i got this VPN it worked perfectly!

was working perfectly fine this morning. and tonight it just stopped, and i haven't been able to figure out how to make it work again

I've enjoyed getting to use the application/extension ever since I downloaded it--roughly a year ago--and have really only had a couple bugs/glitches since then. The program works fine and does what is intended to do, however, it is sad that you have to pay for the vpn on mobile.

Best VPN Extension ever but these days do not connect

hi i can't connect to avira vpn! i can connect to avira vpn on my android device, but in chrome extension it does not show any server, even i click on "Secure My connection" still it does nothing

Avira, this is a WONDERFUL service! I am a big fan of your products, and I use this VPN to access Christian sites blocked by my school. This is by far the fastest free VPN I have ever used, with speeds of up to 130 mbps according to speedtest.net's service (without the VPN, the connection is 500 mbps). Keep up the good work Avira.

Even though i have a subscription it doesn't connect, asks for username password And yes i have to agree with others, even if it connects: speeds are very slow

One of the worst VPN's ever no matter if you use the extension or the windows client it's the same trash. Speeds are really slow. Not enough servers. It's buggy. I choose server and it gives pop-up to add Username and Password when I am already login. It's ridiculous. And I am using the PRO version close to a year now and it's the same as the day one - bad.

I found a problem with this extension when using "Google Keep app" for chrome. It make the app, staying in the OFFLINE mode.

tried it once and it worked like a charm, now it wont show a virtual location at all and i cant click on secure my connection button

because when I try to enable it it will not let me click it to make it work

Sometimes it show "no internet connection" when I choose virtual location is Singapore.

Very good extension that has free unlimited vpn & comes from a trusted German company. I do not know if Pro version can be activated through this but have used without much hassle. Speed has been very good. I use mostly to stream & there has been no lag or delay. Plenty of free vpns in Chrome store but AVira VPN is more safe & trustworthy.
