It did not swap cookies, it just deleted cookies everytime I choose new profile, so it did not work at all, no difference with opening private mode. I want save every cookies I swap, so I can swap the account I loged in
Revised 3/20/22 My apologies. It does work for the site that I previously mentioned. Stars added. I am just a novice and the interface isn't as intuitive as another extension I use. Update 3/23/22 I have noticed however, a change in login behavior even w/the extension disabled since using it. Perhaps Chrome "catches on" Again, I am just a novice.
This doesn't "swap" cookies. It deletes them. It's a 2FA nightmare! Better keep your cell on you!

It used to work wonderfully, but now it doesn't. You are logged out of all sites any time you switch identities, requiring you to log in all over again. You might just as well simply log out and in manually, it's just as easy.
Broken abandonware, do not install. Switching profiles just deletes all cookies every time. The developer has not updated this since 2013 and really should come back to remove it.
This was a 5 star plugin. Stopped working after a recent chrome update. If you're looking for something similar, which is rare, check out SessionBox. Or just use firefox as your switcher account.
The latest version of Chrome isn't working with it. My computer updated and it stopped working properly.

Was great. But Windows 7 64-bit Chrome upgraded to 58.0.3029.81. And this stopped working. :( :(

This extension is very easy to use and does what it promises quickly.
This works okay, but it's not possible to set your profile on a per-tab basis like the Multifox plugin in Firefox.

It's the only game in town, so I use it. It is slow to switch cookies and I wish it was faster. Can't select different cookies per tab, so that's not so convenient.
As easy as the service name. I believe no one will confuse with how SwapMC perform itself, even newbies. SwapMC has proven itself as the work of an expert who know it's supporters & users. Thank you and GBU.
It would be much better if it allowed saving/restoring cookies PER SITE, not all browser cookies at once.

Awesome extension. It would be nice to have ability to backup all cookies with profiles and then import them on another machine.

Would be way more helpful as a developer tool if you could select different profiles per tab/window. Great if you want to serially switch between profiles, but not great if you want to use different profiles in different tabs/windows simultaneously.
I think this very useful for multiple account, but if there method to backup all account i will give 5 stars
Best found so far for multiple ebay accounts, amazon accounts. Problem is it reloads all tabs when you only want it to reload one usuually.
Great, finally something which keeps me from being redirected to MSN home after logging out to get to my second Hotmail account. What a pain in the face that was. Would be lovely if all my tabs didn't refresh when changing profile, just the current tab would be great. *EDIT* So you can chose whether or not to refresh all tabs in the settings.
Great but we must have (please) profile per Window (like Firefox extension). I want to be logged into one account in one window and another account in another window. Profile per Tab is too much hassle, but profile per Window is a win. Please implement as soon as possible - I don't want to go back to Firefox :-)
i thought this is site specific, but it just swapped cookies of all sites in which i don't want to change many sites, but only a few.
the tab won't refresh after I change profile and replace the cookies in other profile with cookies in current profile. please fix!

The extension keeps freezing on one profile
Not especially useful. All it seems to do is log me out of _everything_ I' m currently signed into, and doesn't log me in as a different account on the website I wanted to use it for. In addition to that, it doesn't uninstall on its own from chrome. You have to uninstall chrome entirely to be rid of it.
Useful extention as HELL.

Best Extension Ever! Now I can easily switch between email accounts, exactly what I needed!
To me, this extention is absolutely essential. I use it constantly, and it works just the way I like. And recently it seems to be pretty much instantaneous to switch, which is excellent.
Seems to have stopped working. We're back to logging in and out again. --- Old review below --- Excellent way for me and my wife to very quickly switch profiles without having to trouble ourselves with logging the other out and then logging back in ourselves!
This extension would be perfect if it could do one thing more. Instead of having to switch complete profiles, I would like to be able to just switch cookies for one account. For example, I would like to be able to switch from Twiiter account #1 cookies to Twitter account #2 cookies and back again without having to switch profiles. Any way that could be added?
Used it for a while, but stopped because it didn't always work and started taking a long time to switch profiles.
I love this app..but I am with Tom. I am stuck on one profile. It won't switch to any other ones :(
Awesome! I use two email accounts with the same provider. Now I don't have to use another browser for the second email account if I want to be able to go back and forth easily. Update: Going from 5 stars to 3 as I'm stuck with my secondary profile and can't seem to active my primary one anymore :(
All that happens to me too. I cant switch profiles unless I close Chrome. With all those posts about issues, bugs,Do you PUBLISHER at least read those posts???????? cuz It doesn't work for 1 month now...
Was working fine last night, but this morning when I started Chrome again the different profiles would disappear when I switched. They come back when I disable and reenable the extension. Have tried restarting pc, restarting Chrome, and reinstalling the extension, but none of that fixed it.
I have a bug in Google Chrome 16.0.912.63 (Ubuntu). When i'm change profile, on next click in popup i have only dashed line and no one existing profile - after reloading profile i see again all profiles but only for first change.
Now after opening Chrome I can choose 1 profile but then I cant change again to other and all profile names disappear from bar extension. I have to close and open again browser to change to another profile... resuming, I need to close and open Chrome every time i want to change profile. annoying
I can confirm that. It was working like a charm until today when my browser did an automatic update without even telling me. And now after making one cookie switch it stops listing any cookie profile. Also there's been a long standing bug not letting you switch profiles more than 9 with keyboard shortcuts. (ctrl shft '+' only zooms in to the screen.
I used Cookie Swap a lot in Firefox and was looking forward to using this as well. However, after one switch, the drop down Profiles menu doesn't list any of the profiles and I have to restart Chrome to switch again.
Love this ext but it has stopped working with Chrome 16.0.912.63 m Sucks being without this ext. :/
I love this feature but it is so buggy , sometimes when I try to change my profile , it shows no profile...and i have to open a New Chrome without any tabs... please fix it
