No need to buy manual transcription software when this does the same thing for free. It's not perfect, but this extension is incredibly useful and effective. It's an order of magnitude easier to use than attempting to find the pitches of notes using Audacity and the spectrogram. I use it for every cover I work on. An excellent musical tool.

Perfect for easily spot which notes are in a piano song, for example.

Thank you so much. Mesmirizing to watch. Have yet to find a better visualizer, and it works automatically in YouTube. So cool!

As someone who has been learning how to sing for the past year, I have tried many spectrum tools and have come across one that is really useful for singing with my own voice but isn't that great for multi-frequency visualization and therefore isn't that good for learning other songs but THIS extension really fills a void for learning other songs!! I like how I can tell the voice from the instruments in this song by the vibrato visualization: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=450p7goxZqg

This is actually amazing. Aside from being the first Constant Q Transform I could find written in javascript, it might be the best music visualisation I've seen.
