GUYS ! install extension "YouTube Revert"! And "Subscriptions Grid" will work in a new design!!!!!

Was working great, then stoped working on my work computer back in Aug. 2017. Now in Dec,2017 my personal computer stopped working. Please fix.

You can still use this by reverting to the old (better) youTube layout. Account Settings - Additional Features - old layout in the top left

The new layout broke this extension, but you can get it to work again if you go to youtube(dot)com/feed/subscriptions?disable_polymer=1 Fingers crossed this continues to work, because my subscription feed is nearly unusable without it.

just wish they would update it to the new youtube. been using it for years and it's a life saver.

Thanks to Robert Dybowski for his helpful tip. Changing my Rating: the only way to make it work after last YT update is to revert to old youtube settings: google account settings (top right of the browser) - at the bottom - revert to old youtube. Then extension works again as

Literally one of my favorite extenions! Helps me keep track of my Youtubers Edit: Thanks to feedback from users here, you must revert to the old youtube to make use of this again.

It's literally perfect except that it stops working every time Youtube updates. Currently it hasn't worked for like a week with no update from the developer and I'm getting desperate.

Please update to fix youtube! I love watching Youtube but hate the company! If you update this extension within a week to make it work with the new Youtube design I will donate $20! Thanks for such an amazing extension and can't wait for it to come back!

Developer has abandoned project. Twitter message is a year old. This is what happens when people do not donate to keep a useful extension running.

This is one of the most useful tools when you're subscribed to many channels. It's the only way to keep in check which videos I've already watched and which are still pending. Easy to set up, easy to mark a video as "unwatched" if you want to see it again or screwed up while marking it, and best of all, it's resource-friendly.

I loved this plugin, however it no longer works since Youtube updated things today/yesterday. Looking forward to a fix. Can't stand seeing so many videos I already watched.

Best extension for YouTube if you have a lot of subscriptions! Highly rated and updated regularly, would recommend.

Love it, use daily, BUT I guess something changed on youtube recently, Grid for both Chrome and Firefox no longer HIDES watched videos even when that option is selected, it MARKS them as watched but does not HIDE them even if I select HIDE. No doubt fixed soon.

It only seems to add the hide watched feature, otherwise the grid looks exactly the same to me as the default grid view option. Could really use an option to show subscriptions by default instead of recommended videos.

Works almost 100% of the time. Usually breaks when YouTube changes things and this extension has to be updated to respect those changes.

It's been updated to 1.18 with a button on the Subscriptions page to change settings but the X button on bottom left of video thumbnails will not remove the video from the page unless you refresh the page.

If extension no longer works for you as of september 2015, this means youtube didn't roll out new layout in your country yet, but chrome autoupdated extension. To fix the problem: 1. Disable extension. 2. Download older version from https://github.com/CodeNinjaUK/youtube-subs-grid/releases (1.12 works for me) 3. unpack it somewhere on your pc. 4 Enable developer mode in chrome extensions, press 'Load unpacked extension' and point to the directory you unpacked it to. 5. reload youtube page. Took me so much time to figure this out :F.

worked fine until the Nov 21/15 v.1.13.0 update, then no more grid view. removed cookies for youtube and now it appears fine.

Love the app and I'm glad it was made, but I'm sad to say is no longer needed because YouTube added the option back in as a toggle.

The grid is broken with the new YouTube update. To fix it, click on "list" in the upper right hand corner of the subscriptions page. This reloads YouTube's page into list view and the extension then works!

Youtube have broken the extension again, hopefully it gets fixed soon

It was good, but now Youtube has added it's own list format, which formats it by days, which means I don't need this anymore.

Thanks for doing what a multi-billion dollar company couldn't do (hire website designers that aren't retarded). Update: it seems Google finally came to its senses and gave us the grid again. Guess what? There are idiots that are actually complaining about this without knowing they can go back to the crappy screen space inefficient list layout.

It works about half the time. When it does work, it displays a list for a second and then jumps to a grid. Overall, more annoying then useful. Uninstalling.

Have it on all the computers I own- makes the youtubing experience so much better. Sometimes it takes few seconds to load in a given tab, but overall I'm very fond of it.

Seems to be less functional these days and I have to refresh the page or switch to another page like history and then back again for it to work properly.

For me the 'Hide/show' function does not seem to work anymore(23-Aug-2015). Great extension though.

I miss the original youtube subscription grid.

It doesn't always load meaning I need to sit there and refresh the page 5 - 10 times which is rather frustrating.

Awesome, does as advertised!

I love this extension, it's a must have for anyone who watches lots of videos. The only pitfall at the moment is that it needs updating. YouTube added a option button to each subscription element. Overall though, super happy and will continue to use it :)

After installing this app my youtube ads are coming from India- i have reset my google P/W-stopped and deleted all sync data-checked my ad settings are set to the correct country-last thing to try is deleting this app-i want the app i miss the old youtube but i dont want ads served up from another country

Perfect, you should find popular youtubers to promote this so that users can better find their content.

A highly useful extension, allowing you to see many more videos than Youtube currently allows. Lags for a couple seconds at first, but this is only a minor issue.

I've loved this for so long but now it's not removing videos from the grid that I've actually watched. They're greyed out and I can't get rid of them. :(

I love the idea because I have a lot of subscriptions. Mine lags for about 4 seconds before it kicks in though. If you guys could fix this it would be great…then Ill give it 5 stars

Extremely useful plugin. Recommended to anyone who uses Youtube

It was fantastic until the extension started deactivating itself on its own. I've searched for a solution, and it looks like people from the chrome team blame permissions that the app asks for. I'm not sure, that sounds kind of silly, as I gave it the permissions it needed. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as for now the app almost isn't functional for me.

I don't typically write reviews for anything, but this extension is worth the time. It makes youtube work the way it should. Thank you!
