This is generally fine and has been very useful in the past, but has now ceased to function in google docs. It just doesn't load :(

An incomparable time saver for annotating student essays. Custom comments are easily added and modified, and each generation of this extension has improved significantly upon the last. Truly excellent.
Good concept. Interface looks like it's from the 80s. It would be great if you could edit the prepopulated comments instead of only adding your own. Also, the option to edit the comment prior to posting allows the opportunity to personalize the feedback. Overall, not good enough to replace the Canned Comments feature in Google Classroom (which is FREE).

Fantastic option for inserting canned responses into Google Drive documents with ease. Not only is this useful as a teacher for grading but I could see this as being a great professional resource too for others. Keep up the great work guys!
I was able to get the extension up and running during the 7 day trial and I purchased the license right away. I'd recommend this for any educator who uses Google Docs for assignments. However, I am having similar problems to others in the comments. I also was unable to us E-comments with my school's email domain/Google account, but I WAS able to use it with my personal, non-school account. My IT guy wisely told me to change the Chrome account to my personal one and I was finally able to purchase the extension. Eventually, I was able to use E-comments on both my personal and school Google account (again, don't get that confused with the Chrome account). However, it's stopped working over the last few days. I can use the extension while I'm on my personal Google account for Drive and Docs, but not when I switch to my school account - which is where I really need it. I reached out to the support email once a few weeks ago and got no reply. I sent it again to the same address today and also sent the same message to Mark Pennington who is in this thread. Hopefully they will be able to get back soon and help get this sorted out?
This is an amazing extension. It not only allows you to grade quickly using ACTIONABLE feedback, but it also allows you to leave video and audio feedback all in one place! AWESOME! And the creators are very hands-on with feedback! A great experience so far!
Teachers and workplace supervisors will love this using this extension to save time and provide better writing feedback.
