It is now unfortunately no longer working.
Can confirm it's now broken.
This extension was awesome until recently! ...now it's completely BROKEN! Simply opens up Google Image Search if you right click menu "Search by Image"! Will they ever fix it? I don't think so... if they're not aware it's broken by now they won't ever know!

This is the perfect lightweight context menu extension. However, it just stopped working in the last day or so. I think google messed with its reverse search options.
Doesn't work anymore, redirects to google images, FIX IT!
My only issue is when I installed it today, it redirects me to Google Images. Other days, it worked fine, but today, it's a little buggy.

It's amazing how many really indispensible Chrome extensions are the result of recreating functionality that Google deliberately removed. Screw you Google.

Works like a charm. I like it better than Google Lens
This works a treat - it's red hot .... but Chromebook updates disable it. The extension is still there, but the right click shortcut goes missing. Considering how well this works, and how rubbish Google Lens is, I would really like it working properly.

Google disabled it as it requires "Read data that you copy and paste" permissions. No response so far from developer as to why.

Google made this extension redundant by giving us the same feature built in Chrome. Now they ditched it, and thank goodness this extension still exists!!

Thanks, it works so well! Earlier I was using the experimental site of chrome and have disabled google lens just that it doesn't work anymore, so this extension is so utile not to be forced to use lens.

This works flawlessly. I'm sad we even have to add this but hey, that's what happens when corporations decide what's in our best interest!
Love the extension. Simple, basic, easy to use. Just right-click and select "Search Google using this image". The only thing I wish is that there were an option to select Google Canada for more local search results, as well.
