It no longer works, and the dev is missing.
the downloading works, however, each time i do so, twitter directs me to a popup saying "Views - Times this Tweet was seen. To learn more, visit the Help Center." it's a bit frustrating that it refreshed the page just from a simple click. i know the view popup is due to the update months ago since elon musk as taken reign of the site/app but if this extension is still active, i am wondering if this can be fixed?
it works, but it keeps downloading .ts files along with .mp4 files which take up space
the new update brings me to view when downloading and the file is no longer readable like it used to be,
I mostly used it for video downloads. Now when you click the "download arrow" button a popup "View" window blocks the screen. Yes the video DOES download, but afterwards you have to close out the "View" popup window which DOESN'T take you back to where you left off. Instead you have to start right back from the beginning of the page and find where you left off.
Please fix this plugin! The download button is completely jumbled and doesn't work right anymore.
Recent UI update to include tweet views jumbled up positioning a little. The video download button is still there but it exists as a second like count.
When trying to download a video file with multiple other videos in the same tweet, it only downloads the first file. Please download video files in the same tweet post with multiple videos :)

works fine in downloading pics and videos, but also download a weird no extension name file with video as well and i cant sure what is that.

Really nice extension, I like how you can make the filenames have the twitter handle of the poster, and the link # of the post. The only thing I have issues with is that the GIF creation seems to be a little messed up, the GIFs fluctuate in speed when I view them, so idk why that happens

Late February 2020 update: Stopped working with videos and doesn't work with the new "photo viewer" on Twitter (when you click on a photo and the tweet + replies show up on the right side of the screen, that is the new viewer)

After one click on the download button, two download requests pop up and also name of downloaded video doesn't match the tweet description

This might be the most convenient extension to download twitter images and videos. Here's a small problem: an extra file always be created when downloading a video. Could this be avoid?
Can you please add option to auto download media when you retweet? And add animation when you hover and download

Changing the settings does not work anymore Setting "I want to download readable file name" does not work, and it downloads jfif after that
The extension works but need to disable it when not using it since it force renames the output on every site not just twitter even when the option for it is disabled and does not play well with extensions that sort downloads by website like the Downloads Router. worked perfectly before the 24th june update. pls fix and ty! The only good twitter video (and image) downloader, just make sure to disable downloading the TS file in the settings.
3.0.4 still messes up filenames of other extensions
The file name when I saved .gif is random everytime.

Works as described. (It does disturb the file-naming function of other chrome extensions, need to disable it after using twitter) PS. hope it can add a feature for auto-downloading (without self-directing) files to a designated path (not chrome default) at user's discretion.

Individual pic downloads not working, have to hit the download button on the post to download which in turns download all pics attached to it.
Recent (6/24/21) update made it so chrome no longer remembers the last used path and will always go to the default folder. Very frustrating bug please fix it.

Use to be perfect but lately Twitter is lagging and I think it is because of this extension as there is nothing in Chrome's Task Manager showing problems with the page itself.

Its pretty good at downloading videos but It seems to skip frames when you download a gif sadly

It works really great but there are some complaints that I have using it for a few months. First is that when you're gonna download something, it always directs you to your download folder which is alright but I prefer mine to go to desktop, lack of optimization . Second is that gif is an issue at times. Whenever I'm gonna download a gif, it can either be good at the first download or it would be terrible, so I have to download it again and again and again and hope its good now. Not only that, the speed of the animation for the gif is not the same as it was on twitter, might need some update here and there but overall, it's ok to download for videos. You can turn off some file options on its settings

Works pretty well, I just hope this won't be the next application Chrome removes with "this extension contains malware". I've had two extensions disappear due to that in these last few weeks and I barely use more than 12 extensions.

I like this extension. It's worked for months. But now, clicking the download icon does nothing. How to debug? They may have changed twitter (hey, it's allowed...), but I'm hoping this extension can be updated to work now, today, with today's twitter pages.

Works great! It's a shame tho that mobile.twitter.com is not supported...
It added a button on the bottom of twitter videos to download the video (which worked perfectly) but it has trouble with downloading images from twitter, it didnt add any download button for the images and when viewing multiple images in one post and right clicking and "save picture as" only gives me the option to download as .html instead of as an image file. In the end this extension only allowed me to download videos from twitter by adding a download button but it didnt work for images.
This extension works great on old Twitter. It doesn't work on New Twitter. Please update this app for New Twitter. Thank you, and have a wonderful day.
