Good extension for email organization, allowing me to automatically categorize my Gmail inbox and prioritize messages for increased productivity and reduced clutter. I'd say 5/5 for me.

Quite a a valuable tool for me when organizing emails into separate tabs based on specific categories. Although additional customization options would be beneficial, but I still recommend this tool for enhancing email organization and productivity.

I don't see any use for it. Instead of having verical labels now I also have horizontal tabs for exactly the same job. Just more screen real estate occupied. Plus it's slower than the labels. Uninstalled.

I am unsure what has happened lately, but when I create new tabs, the filters no longer work, and i am unable to edit the query. Is the add-on not supported any longer? Its a shame because I love this add on.

Fantastic little tweak to get you organized, Is there any roadmap to updating the extension to work with new Gmail layout? as i do not see the tabs anymore after i have upgraded to new Gmail!

Excellent way to organize labels and searches!

Its not doing what was promised. I wanted the tabs to be creates in the same horizontal as rimary, social, etc. This creates a different tab line altogether.

Very very useful extension..... but had ton uninstall it : GMail started lagging with it installed especially in inbox interface (clicks and icons on hover). Too bad 10/10 would reinstall if this was fixed

Is it norma that it is so long to load the tab ? at least 4 sec everytime

Created a tab for an important label used to track orders which have been delivered. Tab was created, but it was empty and the label was removed from all the affected emails. Will take me ages to track down all the mails and get my Gmail back to where it was ten minutes ago.

Simple and quite useful

Just installed and liking it so far. I subscribe to a lot of tech newsletters but have them diverted to labels so they aren't in my inbox. But I have so many labels I wanted to be able to get to them easily. Being able to make a tab out of the label WITH the sub labels is exactly what I needed. Thanks!

Update: 1/2021: hoping this gets worked on still: I still use this everyday, and recommend to everyone! Is there a way to change the padding around the labels? With google's new changes to filter tools, I can no longer see to the bottom of my inbox correctly. I have 4~5 rows of labels. And it now as of 2021 adds extra padding (same size as label "table") at the bottom, making a very small window to actually view email. I have emailed support, but awaiting reply. I also struggle with color changing on the label padding. I have to delete cookies to revert the label padding from white (hard for me to read, accessibility related) to black. Sometimes requiring that and a new tab change. Feel free to email me with further questions, should you like more info. Also along with the color change, it would be great to have options in the extension. Such as one to change the color of the extension icon - as you cannot see it with a dark theme at all. I use dark themes for accessibility reasons as stated above. Thank you again for implementing the label name changing, it helped so much!!

Wanted to love LOVE love this but it adds simply more unused space to the top where I've precious little browser room in the first place. So now I have "inbox" tab at the top, a space under that, then the traditional Inbox, Social, Promo which, if Google was smart, we could simply rename and add more of our own tabs there. [sigh]. Anyways, kinda a PITA to now have a level/layer of tabs at the top and under that yet more tabs. Not clean nor elegant.

This extension is great. I have tabs created from search queries. It saves my time when looking for something. It is great.

It's better than the categories that are built-in in Gmail because you can create tabs of your own, but it could be so much more convenient if it would have shown nested labels as tabs under each label tab

OK, but not quite at the functionality I require. If a new email arrives on a different tab - how do I know about it? 1. In the tab bar, there needs to be a count of any new emails, just like there is on the label list on the left. 2. In the label list on the left, the tabs should be in the list (in the same way that Gmail's native 'categories' are)

This is a great way to sort my emails, thank you. However my only issue is that if an email is unread and goes directly to the tab/label and not into the inbox the tab does not show that I have unread emails in it, I still need to check the labels on the left for that information.

I would really love to be able to customize it more. The color of the dashboard, and the fonts. I like the concept, I just feel like it is lacking in a few areas. It is too bad we can't get around the categories all-together.

Must have extension for Gmail. It's a shame that Google doesn't offer this out of the box. The only thing I don't like about the extension is that tabs created on another system don't show up when you logon to gmail from another device that also has the extension. This is kinda disappointing

I can save searches as labels. It's perfect.

Simple, effective - brilliant!

Out of all of CloudHQ's tools this is my favorite. It REALLY lets me take command of my email. Other ones I use: multiforward, sms alerts, meeting scheduler, and thread reversal.

I can segment my inbox with tabs that I can customize and it makes unbelievably excited.

Being able to save searches as tabs is really great. Love that.

Very useful extension, this company makes great tools to upgrade your Gmail experience. Easy to use after watching the instructional video. I wish there were more customization options, like choosing text size and space between labels. My current configuration takes up two lines which looks a little cluttered.

Tab bar color bugged and does not change with theme anymore, what to do?

Love, and I mean love this extension. Drowning in emails, sometimes couldn't click on the chosen email because they were coming in so fast. Hundreds of emails all day long. Tabs allows structure and makes one understand the labeling and filtering better that Gmail has to offer. At least my employees aren't a total slave to emails now and have it under control. Can't stress enough how this increases productivity.

Not working when there is whitespace in the label name. Fix fix fix :)

this is handy extension and makes finding my labels quicker and easier. one thing i noticed is if a label has more than one word, the tab is created in Boolean expression. for example i have a label called Bank of America with emails in it. but when i create the tab, it shows as bank+of+america which breaks the label i have setup and does not display the emails with that label. its easy enough to fix by editing the tab, but should this be that way to begin with? oh and one other thing, can you make the tabs match the color of the label?

Just what I've been looking for. Being able to create tabs on the fly from custom queries and renaming the resulting tabs is awesome. The only thing I'm missing is a post-fix for each tab indicating how many messages match the given tab's query. Something like: 'Urgent (42)'. Any chance of adding an option to display counts per tab?

I'm getting a LOT of use out of this extension, and it definitely works as advertised. But. :-) It would be EVEN BETTER if there were a way to export/import your tab definitions, for those of us reading mail on several different machines. Setting them up over and over is kind of a drag. Worth it! But still a drag.

If the label includes a space, the tab doesn't work. I have a label called "Family and Friends", and when I add it as a tab, the tab name becomes "Family+and+friends". This creates an incorrect search and the tab is always empty. Can you fix?

Tabs are a much better way to organize my emails. This extension makes my mailbox so much more aesthetic & easier to use, couldn't go back to labels if my life depended on it.

I reckon I never used Gmail labels but these tabs are much better on the eyes. Much better for organizing anything in my email, since i'm used to tabs everywhere else, why not in my email too?

Loved that I could have tabs at the top and rename them, is there any way the tabs can be spaced a little? They are squished to close together with each other.

Email labels are outdated and i've never used them. The tab right at the top is so helpful for me productivity wise!

In its current form it just swaps the click from left side to the top. It would be way more useful if I can have a filter query as my tab rather than just a label.

I've only recently installed it, which has helped cleaned out my normal inbox. However, it would be great if each tab showed either the number of unread messages or total messages in that tab. (Personally, I'd prefer total as I'm using this extension to get things out of my inbox and so are no longer unread.)

My labels have always been so disorganized. This is a great tool

Very useful. I would give it 5 stars, but it would be nice if the tabs could be made opaque. I have a theme background for my Gmail and the tabs are difficult to read against the background.

Still a long way to go, but definitely a good start! For starters, it would make sense to also enable some modification of the tabs themselves; for example, I would love to be able to modify it such that it would show only the inbox for that label, and not the outgoing messages as well. tl;dr - good extensions, requires some "settings" to modify behaviour

Woohoo! Ever since GMail rolled out tabs, I've been annoyed that you couldn't create your own. Now you can! Awesome.
