Slid is amazing. It helps me in so many ways. I love taking notes on slid. Moreover, I liked the screen capturing feature.

I could always read the code written in the YouTube video but it was getting kind of messy when I would have to rewatch the whole video to just look at the code, which I don't even remember what time it was at. Apart from that there are so many other use cases of Slid and I still haven't used it to its potential. I think it's a great extension for students as well as employees that are trying to learn about new tech through videos as well. It's by far my most used extension and with the current changes I like it even more. Will be looking forward to more updates and expansion of the project!

It's really a helpful tool and i loved using this app as it increased both my productivity and academic performance. Awesome just Loved it. It is easy to use and time saving also rather than taking out the notes with pen and paper. I seriously like there feature of screenshot in which we can also comment or write the points in that ss image. The most important function that I found useful was to convert our notes to any format.

It is a very useful app, most of the time I study from youtube and I feel this is best for me

In the pandemic, I ended up using Visual Studio Code for Notepad - creating the .txt file, opening it, adjusting the window with my browser (Windows 11 makes that easier but still)… I discovered this tool through a YouTube ad, and if people are anything like me - this app is going a long way. It's already amazing, and I hope to see a dark mode of the extension come up soon. Thank you for this extension!

An awesome idea, very helpful. One suggestion, when I take screenshots, the image quality depends on the resolution of the video, if resolution of the video is say 360p, the image quality is less, I had to play 720p video to get quality images.

Design For desktop version or provide option to work with local files through file:/// path.It would be better for downloaded meetings video content. Also updgrade your tools as plugin or extension for zoom,teamviewers etc..

A superbly designed extension that makes it unbelievably easy to take top-quality notes whilst watching videos. It does so in a way that doesn't detract in the slightest from the video watching experience, as the note taking section appears discreetly to the right hand side of the screen. It also, rather cleverly, allows you to change the speed of the video (yes, this is already available in Youtube, but many other sites don't cater for video speed adjustment), and lets you quickly go backwards and forwards. Slid has a variety of shortcut key so pausing the video to type in your notes is easy, as is restarting it. But it gets even better. You can quickly take screen grabs of the video and even annotate those screenshots to help with your notes. If you are a student, a researcher, a writer, or you are taking an online course of any kind that makes use of videos, then Slid really will help you become an ultra efficient no taker. But it doesn't end there. Slid also manages all your notes so that they remain safe, and you'll never use them. You can create different documents for different videos, and you can store these neatly in folders that are easily accessible on any computer via a web browser. Very highly recommended if you want to take your online learning to a whole new level.
