Doesnt work with PDFs
better than Liner
Required an account just to use it, other than that it potentially could've been a good tool but completely failed at the first step of being useful: being able to use it
I tried using the highlighted feature but it isn't working in the following website : https://demo-ielts.inspera.com/player/?assessmentRunId=131013388&context=exam#/section/128121930/question/128121896/scorableItem/1 Can you please fix this problem so that I can rate you 5 star?
Weava is awesome! It's really easy to use and doesn't cost a lot, which is perfect for people like me who are on a budget. Plus, their customer service is amazing! They're super friendly and always quick to help out whenever I have a question or need assistance. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Weava to anyone looking for a great research and organization tool.
This extension has made my life so much easier. Very Easy to Use.
A lot of cool features, but I found too hard to use past the basic highlighting. Tried it on about six web sites, but two of them wouldn't take the highlight or wouldn't load from the dashboard -- 66% success rate isn't high enough for my work. Also, the push to subscribe was obtrusive. Didn't want to put too much into it and risk it getting lost as others have reported. Going back to MS OneNote where I KNOW my data is safe, and includes all the features I need.
I compared it with similar apps, and found weava the most helpful to me! Also, it's pretty clean and concise! You must try it!
Do I really have to sign-up to use it? No... thanks.
Great extension when it works, not necessarily Weava's fault when it doesn't work. Having said that, I rather you charge me once, glad to pay for it, but not$3 a month to add a few colors...
This does not work. I was unable to highlight anything after making sure it was enabled with permissions, and trying it in both an updated Chrome and Edge browser separately. Nothing gets highlighted or saved, even on a Google search page.
it does not work. i tried to highlight a sentance, and it just didnt do anything. dont waste your time on a useless extension that doesnt do anything.
Does not work at all. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME
I haven't been using it for long but as a student Weava has been absolutely outstanding in helping me organise my ideas and research from various different websites for research papers, essay competitions and course essays. I'd definitely recommend it to students who are looking for an easy to use, easy to understand highlighter.
I wish google buys Weava to integrate it directly into chrome because keeping your knowledge graph sorted and handy is as important as searching for that knowledge. You need to keep that value. I have been using it since 5+ years and it's very stable, never had an issue.
As per some others - it was useful but I am trying to find an alternative. Nags for sign-in overbearing now & hit & miss for it working properly. I also "think" it may be causing login issues with Google accounts across GMail & Calendar at the least. I was getting Bad Request on Google only on this machine intermittently - after trying various combos, have had Weava disabled & haven't had an issue since.
Ew; not a fan. (1) You won't see highlights if you load a URL that includes a hash. Suppose you load https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parsley, navigate to #Cultivation, highlight some text, and bookmark the page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parsley#Cultivation). Now open the bookmark - no highlights! (2) If you try to add highlights to such a page the highlights will briefly appear, then disappear. They're there, but you'll have to load https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parsley to see them. (3) The extension won't merge overlapping highlights, even those of the same color. If you make the mistake of highlighting the same text again after (2) bites you you'll have duplicate highlights, overlapped and identical. Likewise, if you highlight 'succes' you can't simply highlight 'ss' to fix it. (4) When I click a highlight in the dashboard I expect to be taken to that same highlight on the web page I highlighted. I don't want to see a copy of the page text with no highlights whatsoever - how in the world is that helpful? (5) Is there some compelling reason for saving *my* highlights on *their* website instead of on *my* computer? The extension makes it trivially easy to reconstruct the complete browsing history of every device it's installed on. Have you forgotten the whole Stylish debacle already, Google? (6) I can't create highlights without first creating a Weava account, and I can't see the highlights I've created unless I'm always logged into that account. More offended than annoyed by that, really...
highlights missing
Best highlighter I have ever used (without exaggeration). Very well done Weava
Capable of so much but way too much hassle, hardly ever works properly and constant anxiety of losing all highlights/notes. Don't download. Totally undeserving of it's rating on the store
My highlights keep going missing the next day.
An absolutely amazing product that I use everyday and can never stop using
Weava already felt a bit cumbersome to use but recent updates have made it completely useless. Highlights on both new and old documents do not show up at all, and none of the linked "fixes" help. Look for another highlighting app because this will waste your time.
It works well last year. But it lags rencently and response very slow.
Doesn't work. Doesn't save the highlight.
Doesn't work at all. Check your own product before releasing. And I am not signing up just to use a fcuking highlighter.
Doesn't Work At All Now. Leaving It
Too slow!
used it for a few hours and then noticed several highlights in the dashboard had the message "highlight not found" Seems that it doesnt remember the correct page were the hightlight was made.
This used to be such a useful extension but became unusable after some recent updates. Files no longer open properly, the weava dashboard doesn't work, the extension freezes my browser and uses so much memory that my computer starts overheating. I wish there was an option to go back to the older version, but for now I can no longer use this.
Works very well and is incredibly useful even with the free version, but lately I've found that it's very slow to switch between folders. This slows down work where I'm trying to save different highlights to different folders for later reference.
While it works, it work really good and lots of good options of colour to choose from. However not every website is saved which is so frustrating with trying to highlight studies for University, just hope these issues are fix in the near future.
ASKING SIGNUP.
Highlighted text pdfs not showing when opening the same pdf after a month.
It's really useful tool when you are studying. Also their support is really great. Waiting for compatibility with other apps like Notion or RemNote!
Wont let you do anything without making an account.... total scam
it is any way to fix the double clicking not zooming the whole page on pdf ? i wanted to highlight words but any time i double click that word the whole pdf is zooming in and out . it s not the case on the web page though .
Hi, I do like this extension but I've had to disable it after I realised it was stopping me upvoting and downvoting on Reddit. I discovered this by disabling all extensions and then trying them one by one and it's definitely Weava. I notice also, when I've tried again to use it, that as I try to upvote or downvote on Reddit I get the briefest flash of the Weave logo appear where I clicked.
Hello! I love this extension so much. It makes my notes and etc. way more organized. Although, a feature I'd love to see in a future update would definetly be turning highlighted text in our document into flashcards. Other than that, everything is great!
Gave me aids. Cannot even highlight anything, its so janky you are better off highlighting your monitor.
Can you please fix memory on Weava highlighter. It is using 3x more than browser (It's very bad in Edge and Brave is impossible to use). It's so slow I needed to uninstall it. Amazing highlighter. I love export to word function. P.S. Can you add export to Notion :D Edit: Thanks for suggestion to create new folder. It works.
Slows computer functioning Weava has been a life-saver in my doctoral studies. The folders, color coding and sort features keep information organized when doing research and I am looking to recall specific information mentioned in various studies (although having the option to add more colors/tags would be useful). There is no other product available that compares. However, recently I have had issues with the highlighter not functioning, especially when used with PDFs uploaded to Weava directly. Usually a quick uninstall and re-install resolves the issue. Unfortunately my chrome browser and entire computer are noticeably slow (Click on an unrelated button or type a word and it takes up to 10 seconds for the computer to respond- which adds up when you are navigating a web page). I have had to remove the extension with speeds returning to baseline when I do. I love Weava and have saved work so I download it for a short period when I need to retrieve the content of my highlights. Hoping the developers are able to fix this issue.
Worst highlighter, not able to use on gmail and new tab pdf
I had to uninstall this because it interfered with a search function on my to-do list program ToodleDo on my PC. It literally disabled the link to go to your saved searches. The way I discovered this was to go to ToodleDo in Microsoft Edge where I found the search link in the program worked just fine. So then, I turned off all of my Chrome extensions and saw the search link now worked, so it was one of the extensions. One-by-one, I re-enabled the extensions, and checked the search function. This was the extension (of course, the next to the last alphabetically) that was causing the problem. It was fun being able to highlight stuff on the web, but not at the expense of functionality of my main productivity app. Perhaps the details I have given here will help the programmer correct this problem.
Terrible, makes you sign up to use a highlighter? what a waste of my time
testing
In one word ,awesome.
I used to love Weava but it started making my Chrome browser impossibly slow starting a few weeks ago. I had to turn the extension off. I have turned it back on once a week since then, just to check, and I've tried deleting and re-downloading. I am disappointed this app has been unusable for so long.
It used to work so well that I considered a subscription, but recently I have been facing some issues: 1. The extension freezes when you switch the folder. Have to uninstall and reinstall the extension to fix it. But again it works only when are working with same folder. The moment you change the folder, the extension freezes and have to repeat reinstall. 2. Instead of giving you all highlights, highlights from selected folder only are displayed. It kinds beats the purpose of having multiple folders when the highlights from other folders are not visible. Kindly fix these issues on permanent bases so that I can use it seamlessly without any hectic.
Can't use the product without creating an account. 1 star.
Awesome! So helpful.
I have been using this app for about 4 years and have loved it. However, I would say the new updates have done more harm than good. There are some minor improvements over the old version, but a lot of the features that I have liked are no longer there or very slow to the point of being borderline unusable.
Doesn't work. I selected text, Right clicked >Weava Highlighter > Highlight then... nothing ?
Worked Perfectly until a few weeks ago. Then it signed out and keeps asking me to sign back in again every few days. More urgently, when I open the extension Home page my laptop fans start spinning very loudly and my whole laptop slows down! There is some MAJOR bug going on here. The extensions doesn't seem to be working right at all. Request to the developers: Please fix this extension. Roll it back to the older version if needed. It is a great and very useful extension when it works right.
I'm gonna give it a mid rating, because it worked well until this week when it stopped working completely. It's supposed to be enabled, but it doesn't highlight anything.
it is really very helpful to make our notes from any web browser or webpage and also it has catchy colors that makes our document fun to read.
Impossible to open more than 10 tabs otherwise Chrome stops responding and loading is very slow
Utter waste. Highlights disappear as soon as cursor is lifted away from area to be highlighted. I suppose I should assume that this is the punishment for expecting anything more from a "FREE" user account. Clearly my belief that giving away my data for Weava to profit by was payment enough. I guess not.
It doesn't highlight anymore. I don't see any option for highlighting and I lost all other highlighted passages as well. Might as well take this down from the store for a while in order to avoid confusion with actual highlighter extensions that work.
It used to be so easy to use and so helpful but now I can't highlight anything anymore. I have to constantly log in. It doesnt work on any of my pdfs. When it does magically work it takes having to left click and manually highlighting it. Please undo this update.
New Update is horrible, A lot of bugs.
Doesn't work, and why the ***** do I have to sign in to use it?
Was decent but the latest update has made it completely unusable. Extremely slow, lots of random freezes and glitches. Randomly creates new folders and subfolders. I'm regretting paying for this.
I can't use the extension with my Android tablet. What's going on. Please advise for solutions
best extension ever for high lighting
Added the extension and then not only did it start off by making me go through excessively tedious hoops and hurdles like setting up an account, adding extensive personal information -- mind you, all in order to use just a SIMPLE highlighting function -- but also asked me to download a separate file to use the extension. That is not normal behavior, for an extension -- the whole point is you're not supposed to download anything separate from the extension itself.
Best highlighter for a browser out there. However, recently, every time i enable weava, my browser severely lags. Nothing loads the moment I enable weava even after getting the latest update.
Lost a lot of old pages I've highlighted. I've just disabled weava because it won't working properly and I can't highlight anything. And when I am not trying to use it to highlight, the annoying highlight pop up won't go away. It used to be better than this and was very conveniently to use.
I rated this app with 5 stars before, but after the update, I have to uninstall the app for several reasons similar to other reviewers' experience such as: 1) lag in browsing, 2) unintuitive highlighting experience, and 3) problems downloading the highlights. I hope that the complaints will be addressed. For now, I am re-rating the app with 1 star for a dissatisfying experience.
Eats RAM like an animal
Been using the extension for years, this is indeed a 5 star extension, but I'm giving it a 3 star temporarly while the performance issues from the update get fixed. I know that if we wait a bit it'll go back to how good it was. What I'm curious about is the switch of PDF viewer, I highly dislike this new viewer and would love to be able to (or at least have the option to) have it always open on the default PDF browser that was used before
Always have a error when I have been using this apps can't open my pdf
This was a 5 star, must must have web highlighter .... until it started crashing Chromium browsers after update ... A few days ago I woke up and loaded Brave to start work. No web pages would load - 'Waiting on response' error. I took about an hour trying the obvious culprits, including loading up Chrome (which had the same issue) and then Edge (which loaded everything perfectly fine). I turned off all my extensions and loaded them one by one. When I loaded Weava that's where the trouble was. Not sure what you guys did, but whatever it is it's not trivial. You seem responsive and willing to correct it so I'm not going to uninstall. Also ... not so easy finding a working and useful web highlighter! This is the best one I've found so I'm not giving up that easy. Also ... all my pages I've used to highlight are now not highlighted until you fix it ? So I'm already invested ... thx ?? Next I turned off all my Extensions
Weava was the best highlighting tool as it let you highlight both web pages and PDF's, after the update i can no longer use either, i especially dislike the new feature that opens the PDF in Weavas own system, change it back so we can highlight all pages and all PDF's without having to open it in your system, will be looking for a new highlighter tool unless this gets remedied, i doubt they will be quick to fix things as the update has released days ago now and still no fixes
Very slow and unresponsive after it updated around a week ago. It deleted all my recent highlights as well. Unacceptable.
Works well and customer support team always reaches out. Definitely consider buying it.
If I highight a PDF document, then zoom in or out, all my highlited informatin disappears. Makes me lose hours of work. Disappointed.
The successor to Highly Highlighter 2022 Sept Update: Seems to be consistently broken on Mac OSX M1, latest Chrome browser. Flagged issue with support.
Made my browser super slow and used up almost 90% of RAM!!
It was fantastic, until ... is just stopped working ? it has like no pass sign on top of the logo ? and i can't find any of my highlights, omg if they actually been deleted i'm gonna cry .
I used to LOVE weava but ever since they updated it, it has been IMPOSSIBLE to use. Highlights are very difficult to create. It often glitches/lags and won't let me highlight at all. It's so slow and worst of all, my highlights sometimes are not saved. If I pull up the document that I've highlighted, they're all GONE. Just GONE. Please fix the update asap or better, just bring back the old version. This new update is NOT it.
I had to change my rating from 5 to 1. The new weava update made everything on chrome very slow, even non-weava pages. PLEASE bring back the old weava!! Old review ========== Love it! It makes annotating and searching through notes really easy. I save a lot of time and feel very productive using this app. My only issue is that it's not easy to sync and use on other devices since I normally have to download a file and it would look for the file on my computer. It would be amazing if it can do the following: 1. Allow changing the file name on Weava. 2. Allow moving the highlights to the same document on a different web location. 3. Work with google drive pdf's so I can save documents and highlights there and work from any computer.
I had been using it for over 6 months, after the new update, everything is so laggy and my highlights from my previous pdfs cannot be found anymore. Please fix this
Doesn't work. Correction. Worked on one web page then ceased to work on anything else. Extremely upsetting. Don't even bother
bring back the old version, all of my highlights are gone. the weava pdf viewer is laggy
I only rated it one star because of the recent update. PLEASE MAKE IT GO BACK TO THE WAY IT WAS. It does not save the highlights, it doesn't delete the highlights made and it doesn't give the note option. Overall, the old version was a five star extension!
I am using it for about an year now, but due to recent update....it is not highlighting or giving note section...when i highlinght anything and go back to check it is showing loading mouse. also, the weava pdf reader keeping lagging, its kinda annoying when you are doing imp. assignent. PLEASE FIX IT, IT IS VERY IMPORTANT, THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT EXTENSION FOR MY STUDY PLEASE PLEASE..I LOVE THIS EXTENSION ALOT
Since this updated today (9/15/2022), it will not save things I have highlighted; instead, it will show the icons and then you select which part of a document you wish to highlight, then highlight. What happens then is when you hover your mouse over it, you get an hourglass. When you go back to the document, it is NOT highlighted! NEEDS FIXED! THE UDATE HAS MADE IT WORSE! As of 9/16/2022, IT IS STILL NOT WORKING! YOU HAVE FORCED ME TO USE ANOTHER EXTENSION!
Recently had problem with the extension, but the team fixed it :) amazing tool to help you study or work. I will recommend it to all my friends...not only it is very useful, but it keeps getting better
It used to have an issue loading... with the recent update, it works fine. But I noticed my Chrome browser become clunky and slow in loading new pages with tabs especially loading multiple youtube. Tried to isolate by disabling each installed extension by clearing cache after each extension was disabled. Noticed the clunky loading and slowness are gone when this Weave extension is disabled. Suspect the upgrade may contribute to this new issue and the developer may like to take note. Much like this extension, have decided as an interim measure to deactivate this extension and activate it whenever the highlighting function is needed.
Now the most awaited feature is there. Thanks for this amazing tool. I uninstalled acrobat reader completely and using this to read the books.
It's one of my best Extension but i don't know why this does'n working well can you fix this problem(Higlights not saving) as soon as possible.
It honestly it great, you can label and organize your highlights, great customer service. My only issue is that it glitches allot so be sure that your highlights are on your dashboard before you leave. I do tend to have issues with access to my dashboard mainly because I haven't purchased the subscription, but honestly for a student this is still super useful and highly recommend downloading it.
good app
Very Inconsistent Tool. Sometimes, it works fine. Most times though, it doesn't actually save the things that you've highlighted. As of just this moment, I've realized that it hasn't saved 3 days worth of highlighting. Literally dozens of bits of info that I really needed for later use, gone. One especially bothersome aspect: You can log into this extension multiple times and it often won't register that you've logged in. If the devs could stabilize this extension's behaviors and performance, this tool would be outstanding. As of now, it's not really worth relying upon.
was very good, the best web highlighter. but recently made edge browser extremely slow: basically impossible to load pages with this addon enabled. would love to give a 5 start if this bug is fixed!
It fulfill its promise, but there are some problems: 1- It is a terribly heavy extension, and it makes my browser much more slower. 2- The pop-up window that appears when you select a text is not optimized, in the sense that I does not disappear when you unselect the text.
It does what it says, so that's the minimum ask. However I have two big gripes. 1) It auto-enables highlight mode. This should be configurable since by default I want highlight mode to be disabled. 2) It de-focuses a webpage on initial load. I'm used to going to a website (for instance, Google) and my cursor being in the initial focus element (the search bar on Google). When this extension is running, it does some sort of post-processing once a web page is loaded and removes the focus/cursor from whatever the default element is on a webpage - this is a huge productivity loss for me! Because of these two issues, I will keep the extension completely disabled until the time comes that I need to use it again. It will not be an extension that I always have enabled.
**For anyone who is currently,** - Dealing with chrome loading very slowly - Having trouble with highlighting / un-highlighting - Cannot change highlight colors - Cannot access or take notes:** I think they're bug-fixing / troubleshooting right now, so what you should do in the mean time is: 1) Export all your notes Navigate to any wepbage > Highlight some random text > Click on highlighted text > select the "My Research Folder" dropdown A sidebar/menu will appear to the right of your screen. At the bottom of it there's a dashboard icon. > Select the dashboard icon (this will navigate you to your dashboard, although you may also be asked to sign in) Once on your dashboard, see the upper right corner and hover over the buttons. One will say "Export". > Select "Export" > Choose how you'd like to save your notes (I usually use a .txt or .docx) NOTE: This is just so anything you have written is saved. Try to do this ASAP just in case their code breaks even further while they are troubleshooting. --- 2) Disable the extension but DO NOT delete. > Select the puzzle piece icon at the top right of your chrome page > Select "Manage extensions" > Select Weava "Details" button > Turn off the extension > Scroll down to Site access > Select "On click" NOTE: I do not know for sure, but I think removing the extension may erase your saved highlights. So for now, just disable it. Although if your happy just retaining your saved notes (which we did above), you may delete this now if you'd like. Keep up to date with these reviews, I'll let people know when the extension is working properly for me!
I liked it until it stopped working..... It won't let me access the dashboard. It only takes me to the screen that asks me if I'm an undergraduate and what school I go to. It randomly closes and doesn't save my highlights. I'm a little confused and sad my notes are gone.
It's a great extension sure but I would randomly experience issues where it won't highlight, wont save highlights or deletes my highlights. It's extremely frustrating and there no point contacting support since by time I hear back the extension is working again (I understand those who pay premium gets priority but I don't want to invest in an extension that sometimes work)
Barely does its job. Takes several steps to even get it to highlight websites, and when it does it sometimes still doesn't work. Only allows me to annotate my highlights 30% of the time, and my highlights never show up in my dashboard. Horrible dashboard set-up; extremely confusing, and does not work the way the manual shows. Tempted to make my own highlighting extension because this one was a piece of garbage. Do not waste your time or energy, or you will just end up frustrated out of your mind and ready to throw your laptop out a window.
Today this extension slows down the speed at chrome. If i turn off the extension everything is fine.
lost all my highlights now I have to reread and do them again. Thank you Weava!
Very useful for anyone who wants to self-learn on the Internet. Whether it's a well-written line from a personal essay, a quote from a news article, or a code fragment from Stack Overflow, Weava helps you save all these little bits of information from all over the web in one place where you can conveniently access them and combine them into study materials, essays or code. Thanks to the folder creation system, you can sort your highlights into their respective subjects. I have folders dedicated to specific programming languages, school courses and even one for fun facts I've found. This tool has definitely helped me take advantage of the Internet as an infinite source of knowledge and not just a mindless time waster.
most decent(weava) > everything terrible(all extension)
Why is this asks for login/register? Cannot support as is?
love the highlighter colors, love the sidebar n' the extended lil things we get besides just the highlighters themselves ^__^
Amazing tool for reader and researchers.
Many times it simply didn't work. It works smoothly at night. But not works in day time. I don't know what's the issue with this software. Really annoying!
Very good simple extension. Works with another site and saves work. Simple elegant design. Keep up the great work.
it does not work
This extension is absolutely fantastic... Until it fails and you lose all of your precious highlights, costing you more time trying to regain them, and even more time after that re reading and noting everything. Hold on a second! Things happen and technologies not infallible after all, so give it another shot. And once it fails again, just incase your weary of your own ability to forgive, give it a third time around. I'm writing this in part from my own misery, but largely to save poor students from having waste their valuable time and endure the same suffering. Trust me folks, do not bother with this extension. If you think buying premium will help, it will only add to your pain. I beg, go download one of the many other highlight extensions and be successful. Though this extension has great potential, unfortunately the risk greatly outweighs the reward, especially with so many other FREE options.
This extension works great and is a very handy tool for explainer videos. Thanks guys! The upgrade cost is a bit too much for the features being offered. If you are in a team environment you may see this differently. Still, it's a good idea and works well.
It doesn't work for me. It only works on the "Try Highlighting Below" site. I wish I could rate 0 stars
there are big premium ads , its really bad extension
Not good. Craps out and deletes your highlights all the time. Don't rely on it too much, it's better than others but still drops and overall is just okay.
Unfortunately it's not working on my browser. The right side pane loads forever. I tried clearing the cache, reloging. Nothing worked! I copied this from Inspect Views>Background Page from the extension page. background.build.js:1 [ Folder Migration] Migration Manager Created. 0.0.1,0.0.2 background.build.js:1 [ Website Migration] Migration Manager Created. 0.0.1,0.0.2,0.0.3 background.build.js:1 Background App init: 1.33.0 _generated_background_page.html:1 Unchecked runtime.lastError: The message port closed before a response was received. background.build.js:1 user yo background.build.js:1 https://www.weavatools.com/apis/versioncheck?token=eyJhbGciOiJSUzI1NiIsImtp…75p6F3tUYfXFWqoZ9Pflvs5VXRVTKE2LqRmSW0qYodzJgb--5v5g&runningversion=1.33.0 background.build.js:1 https://www.weavatools.com/apis/users/notifications/count?token=eyJhbGciOiJ…5p6F3tUYfXFWqoZ9Pflvs5VXRVTKE2LqRmSW0qYodzJgb--5v5g&environment=Production
The most impactful productivity tool in law school. I make folders by class, and highlight legal rules as I read. Then I export all rules without having to have two panes up or double typing. Seriously!
very helpful
This is a grate tool that I would love to give 5 stars, but there is one consistent problem that still hasn't been fixed. Sometimes you can start highlighting and you will be logged out on your account, so it appears as if it's working but it will not remember your highlights. The only way to fix this that I found is to go to the extension plug in turn it off, refresh the page, go back into the extension plug in turn it back on and then refresh the page again. I have brought this to their attention but so fun fix.
Just downloaded it and its already a lifesaver! They aren't a money hungry corporation who blocks all of the functions behind a paywall making the product useless, they are actually helpful and give you extra features on the side. As a result i will pay for the product happily. Thank you guys for making this, I cannot recommend this product enough, I literally cant! I've never made such an in-depth review before, you guys are AWESOME!
Weava makes keeping track of online research a 10x easier. The interface is simple and pleasant. Links can be loaded within the built-in viewer without leaving the dash which is super helpful when context is needed but you don't want the distraction of leaving the current tab. I love the customization options as well from the custom colors to the ability to organize your highlights into folders.
Could you explain why do you require "Modify data you copy and paste" permission?
A fantastic tool. If you do a lot of web reading and need to highlight either a single words, a few lines lines or even a paragraph, this product is for you. I thoroughly recommend
Confused. How do I unhighlight?
Boom!!!!!!!
Worked great on the sample, after that, nope!
I went to go use this extension but did not because I could not understand why it needed access to my Google account if it's already an extension in the Chrome browser. I would assume the extension is saving instances of highlights to the browser storage to be queried later when the page or PDF is reloaded. In that case, there would be no need for access to my Google account. As for the actual performance of this extension, I cannot speak to that because I did not use it.
