Login doesn't work, it's useless without an account.
Wanted to give it 2 starts (cause I'm a nice guy) but then I remembered why I may a point to come here to write a review - All I ever do when I try to use the extension is sign in, reload, sign in, reload.... Really annoying how much time I've wasted trying to use something that sounds like it would be really useful. Guess I'll just save to PDF like I used to.
The Kdan mobile website is very, *very* slow for some reason, and it is frustrating to no end. Moreover, 8 highlights per website is not enough. The extension is a good idea though
You can sign in with you Google/Facebook or make an account. I like that it saves/shares, but there's no text or drawing.. only highlighting.
The extension worked well for a little while but recently has been causing issues on most web apps (e.g. Twitter, Dropbox). Each time a page loads, this extension appears to reload the page again, causing an annoying flickering on many major web sites.
I tried a bunch of extensions like this to highlight on my browser and none worked. This one however, is so simple and easy to use!! Definitely going to be super helpful when reading papers.
I cant log in to it nor access old articles that I saved!!
Does not allow you to make more than 8 highlights on a page unless you get premium. Use Weava Highlighter instead - unlimited highlights that also sync to your account. Weava Highlighter: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/weava-highlighter-pdf-web/cbnaodkpfinfiipjblikofhlhlcickei
I would like it if it worked properly. When attempting to highlight sentences from an article, it often has a 30sec or longer delay if it decides to work at all. One time I highlighted a sentence and some of the other sentences disappeared, so I had to reload the page, meaning everything I painstakingly highlighted was gone too.
Used to work. Then they updated and it started covering fully half the website in a permanent immoveable overlay. Now after another update it just pops a window that says "Log In" even after logging in repeatedly and refreshing the page. Basically this is a completely unusable email collecting device. Shame cause six months ago it was really useful.
GREAT! This is a great tool to highlight and annotate articles from around the web!
great tool for adding notes, highlighting while reading internet articles. useful.
Beautiful dashboard! Markup makes web highlighting so much easier and can pick up where you've left on your iPhone. Keep up the good work!
This Extension Blocks these Formatting Features of GMAIL: - Bulleted Lists - Numbered Lists - Indent Less - Indent More
DOES NOT WORK AT ALL!!
it doesn't work well
Very easy to collect information or articles from the web pages, and I can read them later on other desktops by logging into my account.
A great app for people to study English.
It doesn't do much of anything except serve as a vehicle for endless sales pitches for unrelated products. Garbage.
looks like a quick sign on and then requires a separate account with the developer KBAN and once these lines of questioning go on too long and I see a fee coming... I stop and look for another product. I need something now for a job. If it would work I would invest, but it if takes all this time just to access it, I am skeptical.
