New updates are so slick. It's the fastest scrolling screenshot tool. When combined with the desktop app and the annotation tools, it's best bar none.

I use MarkupHero daily. Screenshot with annotations is very fast. I used Snagit to take screenshots and my work became faster with MarkupHero.

Thank you for making such a dope app, this is everything I was looking for and more.

Very cool extension and they offer a standalone app, however the description (and my reason to even install the extension) is very misleading... To save as PDF you MUST signup for a PAID account , and its at 5$ per month! (very high for such a simple feature). I get that price for pro or commercial users who may use this feature 1 or more times each day, but 5$ for even casual users is too high (and had this been clear in the description i would have moved on to a different extension). They also seem to force print-to-pdf of your markup to output just a single page (and poor looking - i assume to push membership). if either the price was lower (like 1 to 2$ per mo, 1 yr at a time, for non commercial users) OR they were more upfront about the "not free" part in the description, my review would be much different/better.

I use this extension every day for sharing information with colleagues and clients. I love how easy it makes it to share an image, edit an image, and screen capture in general. It saves you 3 minutes of print screening, editing a file, saving a file, blah blah blah, every time you use it. Never do that again, download Markup Hero!

Markup Hero is MY hero! I've used SnagIt in the Windows environment, but after leaving Win behind for Chrome OS several years ago, I yearned for the ability to replicate the features of SnagIt to annotate my screenshots for training material. Markup Hero had everything I wanted, and in the browser. it provides arrows, shapes, text and is very simple to use. J

Works great. So much better to have everything in one place in the cloud than in six or seven different folders on my laptop, which is how it was before. And I rarely looked at them again because it was too much of a hassle to find them. A killer function would be the ability to search text in images...

I was only interested in the mark-up capabilities and did not try the other functions. When I clicked the icon I got the choice of features to use when I clicked Markup or used the keyboard shortcut I saw nothing! There was no toolbar to do any of the promised mark ups: highlight, underline, insert text?

We were used to pay for SnagIt a rip off, no more, markuphero is much better

Pretty much exactly what I was looking for. Clean UI, no annoying pop ups during screenshot taking and immediately able to annotate. One thing I'd like improved though is the scrolling screenshot functionality. Seems to miss some websites and turn out a subpar screenshot.

Ok... I'm kind of in love with markup hero. But, I didn't know just how in love until today, on my new laptop, when I panicked because the shortcuts weren't working and I realized just how many dozens of times throughout the day I rely on Markup Hero. For the record, the shortcuts were indeed working. The problem is I had forgotten to add it to my new laptop. I use it constantly to submit screenshots for support tickets for apps that I use, to get feedback from clients, to provide quick responses to client support requests, to capture designs I like and want to save, etc etc. I LOVE MARKUP HERO! P.S. When I chatted MarkupHero support in the midst of my panic, they quickly and patiently helped me troubleshoot and discover... hilariously... that I had forgotten to add it to my new computer. P.P.S. Big thanks for an excellent product and phenomenal service.

NO DROP SHADOW? ? I'll gladly upgrade to SuperHero if you add the shadow option. It's commonly used to distinguish the annotation from the original. If you ever add drop shadow please let me know!

This is undoubtedly one of the best screenshot and annotation tool I've used. It's my true hero without the cape.

Slick and simple! Very nice. And the web based annotator is very smooth. Better than the rest.
