I was expecting the card numbers to relate to their order in the List, not Board. This won't help me.
Unlike others, this extension shows the card number also when the card is open rather than showing it only in the Trello Board view.
Took a couple of reboots and restarts of Chrome - no idea why - to get the card numbers to appear. Now it seems to be quite random whether it will work or not. I can have multiple tabs open in Chrome looking at the same Trello board and some will have card numbers showing and some won't.
Very nice implementation.
Works like a charm. I wish there were such extentions for FF and Safari
