Not a good extension. If I read correctly last update of this extension was in 2016. Maybe that's an real issue. In my case it is completely slowing down and freezing browser and eating laptop battery within 10 minutes. 8GB memory is gone within minute or two of using color picker tool on any website including localhost. Seems that color picker is constantly scanning DOM tree from the second you turn it on. I have this problem on some websites if JS is running/scanning DOM constantly in background as my PC is not newest.

Found it very helpful and intuitive to use, as a non-professional. I only wished that the Picked Color History had some kind of compare function to quantify the difference in the components of two colors, though I don't know in how many cases this would actually be useful.

Horrible, it keeps showing this animation at the top which moves the whole page down and makes the eye dropper so inaccurate. I hated it.

love the tool, the only issue is that when try to pick a color in a tiny pixel you get the color of the red border that came with the extension when you hover over an element :(

BEWARE!! This is a virus! This takes over all google searches maliciously

When ever I try to use this it does not detect the colors correctly, it might have something todo when there is a zoom on the page.

Good extension

A must have tool for web devs... not only picks the color but outlines the css boxes if hover over one for easier debugging

Picker not working correctly

A great and useful color tool for web & graphic developers. It had quite remarkable features. The palette are wonderful

This extension has a charming-tab MALWARE. I liked it at first but then I noticed all my searches were being hijacked by charming-tab (basically forceable redirected my searches from Google to Bing). Frustrated the hell out of me. I was like it so much because it has been so easy to pick color code from any web-site it was amazing extension

It literally doesn't work anymore! I had this for years and somewhere down the line there was an update so you pretty much can't select colors from sticky elements or hoverable elements.

Im not sure why this records your browing history but whatever... I might get rid of it soon.

I've used Colorzilla since it's inception with Firefox and it used to be fantastic. As a developer it's always been a staple extension. Unfortunately, it pains me to say it, but now for me it's almost unusable, so I wouldn't be able to recommend it to anyone. It looks like support has been abandoned or gone stale as the extension hasn't received an update in 4 years now. After seeing that, I'll be uninstalling and looking for an alternative. I'd steer clear until this gets a much needed refresh/update.

Very Helpful tool!

AMAZING

It was good, but now it always pic wrong color. When clicked on icon, screen lifted down a little and extension failed to pic right color.

As a graphic designer, this extension is super helpful for quickly getting color codes. Look no further, this is the color picker you're looking for.

Not just picking colors that we love, off the web, but also having them for future reference using the 'picked color history' feature is a game changer for me. Now this is what I call true love from a developer with their hard work for the sake of some random stranger's glory! Love this extension, can't live without. Thank YOU !!

My go to for everything! Love it!

Absolutely phenomenal, and an amazing time saver. Goodbye days of taking a screen shot and popping it into whichever editing program. The only suggestion for improvement is that when I copy a color and the hex code is applied to the paste board the number symbol "#" is applied at the front of the code. It's unnecessary and it requires the user to click in and delete it before you hit enter. Literally small beans, but seeing that is the only thing then that makes this extension an obvious must have.

Works fast. Color picker appears top right, was able to sample colors of websites to match on my blog and tweak . Thanks .

I've been using it since last 4 years, and it has been a handy tool for specially web development. But, in recent days, it has not been working well. As soon as I click the extension, the web-page becomes white, and nothing shows up. I don't know if it's the issue of chrome or the extension, but I guess the developer need to see this once. Again, thank you for this great extension!

Seems okay as long as you don't try sampling on sites you run on localhost, Forget about using this tool in development running xampp, wamp, etc. it rarely works.

This extension is okay, but it could be better. Unfortunately, it lacks the ability to hide the ColorZilla status panel that seems to pop up everytime I want to use the eyedropper. Additionally, there is no way to snapshot a page for further inspection, which would be useful (for inspecting small/interactive webpage elements).
