Reviews & Comments of Quick Maps chrome extension

I've had this installed for years and it has NEVER worked correctly. It ALWAYS pops up a blank box, then I have to click to see the full map. Works in that respect, but would love for it to work properly in the quick pop up map.

If you could move to HTTPS, it would work on more sites.

Worked once on a right-click. Once. All other times I get a blank popup window and I have to click on "Full Size Map" which then opens a new tab with the map and correct location. So for that, since there is no other map extension that does this, I give it two stars instead of one.

Update: Junk! Useless!! Works when it feels like it. As Crooked Hillary says: What happened.

Quick Maps is a great extension, I really, really, really like it, please, keep up the good work. Great job!

Is not working on any website. Also, highlighted an address (on several website) right clicked, then clicked on the Quick Maps link... NOTHING. Sorry, but this extension does not work.

Works sometimes. 50% of the time it will show the address, the other 50% of the time it shows me a blank pop-up box.

Good idea. Too bad it doesn't work properly. Probably won't be fixed as well since someone who speaks German reported it a while ago and it is still broken.

Super helpful. Super convenient. Only a couple of seconds after hovering over the address, a map with pinpoint is pulled up.

lovely application to have when you need it

Works pretty well on actual addresses. However, the extension has an annoying tendency to trigger on many, many non-addresses, causing random bits of text to be mapped to southern Minnesota, for example.

Love the convenience and quick performance of the tool. It's never stalled of failed me. I use it all the time. Would love to have more features like the full version of maps such as "directions to/from", but the full version is available with a quick click on "full-size map", which opens in a new window. Great job, great integrated productivity tool from google.

Is there a way to append a KML file on top of the maps?

Added it to Chrome, but, doesn't show up on right click menu nor does it work when hovering over an address. What am I not doing?
