Overall an excellent password manager. Great for both business and personal use. The admin features on the business side of Keeper make it easy for onboarding / offboarding staff. The application works well, and Keeper is robust in their feature offerings. If I had one complaint it would be the Keeper app on an Apple Watch. Sometimes you won't always get the verification push notification, and using the Keeper MFA code that Keeper DNA supplies has never worked. Other than that, it's been a solid product!

you ask for a rating instead of giving value to user experience. a poor user experience is a poor app.

The Chrome integration is useless as it does not show up. I have to disable and then enable the extension for it to work again, which I have to do many times a day. Therefore, it makes more sense to just not use it. Don't waste your time.

So far this seems like a very straight forward password manager I may consider sticking with it longer than 1 year if I keep enjoying it.

It's great until..... I tried logging in and the 2FA codes were coming 5-10 minutes later.... By that time the code was expired. I tried this for about 45 minutes, while chatting with customer service. The customer service was zero help on this issue. Considering cancelling it b/c if I have to reach to customer service each time I want to log in that's such an unnecessary and frustrating extra step.

Love it. Easy to setup and easy to use. Would recommend.

This is a replacement I found for LastPass, after it was repeatedly compromised. I can't say it's quite as smooth as LastPass, but it's the best replacement you'll find. There are little details, like when you sign in on the browser extension, you can't just sign in and be done, you have to wait for the new tab to load and then close it. This is not as popular as other password managers, but it's my recommendation. Also, I like that the master password doesn't have to be 20 chars long. I use 2fa anyway, so I'm happy with the shorter Master password.

I wouldn't know what to do without a password manager these days. It was with quite some reticence that I accepted I needed such an app. But with 40 passwords, count soaring, I had no real alternative. Keeper was recommended to me by a friend, and I have not regretted my choice, ever. Installation is a walk in the park, whether on my Mac, on my iPhone or on both corporate or personal browsers. I can selective set 2FA for each device depending on its vulnerability. I can store sensitive files. Adding, editing, updating or removing passwords is easy and intuitive. Autofill and Password Reset Helper work like a charm. Keeper has all I need and probably more.

Definitely not renewing after my year is up. This service is so buggy and annoying. You click the box to say don't ask me for MFA or to log in for 30 days, or ever on this device. Very next day "please log into Keeper." You can't close Chrome and reopen it without having to log in with your master password. I contact support and they say "oh you just need to click to remember you for 30 days it's simple!" Yeah whatever. Even the Keeper desktop program, it says when you launch it that it works offline, yet I do Touch ID and then it goes "Error no internet connection cannot authenticate with Keeper". Just stick to using Google Chrome for password management as it's free and built in.

You introduced very annoying issue that will make me uninstall the app if it is not fixed soon. After my laptop goes to sleep and I return to it, Keeper extension is not working, it just shows Keeper logo and I can click on it and see a version, nothing else. To make it work I have to kill chrome and start it again. It is very very annoying. Hopefully you fix it soon.

Simple and effective cross platform password app.

I genuinely could not live without Keeper. I am not a big fan of Chrome but will not even consider another browser until it has this extension.

When it works it's great, but too often it doesn't...especially after they "update" it. Since the last update, the extension simply won't let me log in. It just spins. Then, when I go to the actual vault to log in, it automagically logs me in as through I had been logged in from the extension. It's really a pain. Keeper eventually get these things fixed, but in the interim you just have to hold on knowing that at some point things will get better. I just wish the performance of the extension was more consistent.

Like many of your I too was looking to jump off the sinking ship that is lastpass, BUT unfortunately keepers UI/UX experience is very lacking to put it mildly. For example they dump all your information into a single vault and require you to search for everything inside that vault instead of having a left menu category navigational structure is unacceptable. It makes no sense that my website passwords along with my passport notes are all in the same vault. Once they fix and improve upon this they'll have me and I'm sure thousands of users ready to migrate over to them.

The app itself is still OK, but the Chrome integration is getting consistently worse. Original review reference a problem I had with with "Please check the date and time settings of your device." Lately I'm like others being frequently logged out. For last 2 days I can't get it to properly open or function at all. Good integration was one of the selling points in the beginning that had me switch, but this is awful and now I'm stuck due to a family plan.

I am using Keeper for years on Chrome (Windows/Ubuntu) and on Android, fit to my need.

After the last Website breach at LastPass I decided it was time to move on. I checked many reviews of password managers before deciding on Keeper. I use it on my enterprise level Chromebook as well as my Linux laptop. In my case it works flawlessly on both systems I like the feature that Keeper will logout unless you change the settings for it to stay open. In my case I want it to be logout.

I have been using password managers for close to 10 years now and I have not come across a more refined and outstanding product since moving to Keeper Security. Always works with auto-completion and saving new sites comprehensively, as expected. Thanks Keeper!!

Super happy with this product. Really easy and intuitive to use. I use this with Brave and Chrome with no issues. It works great with my phone.

Moved from LastPass to this and I completely regret it. Doesn't prompt to fill when encountering a form when you want to create an account at a website, doesn't prompt to fill credit card fields. Disappointing.

Why is it logging out of the app extension when I go to a url that does not have https? I work through 1 million firewalls at work, the local url is just http. STOP LOGGING OUT WHEN I GO TO MY INTERNAL WEBSITE.

I tried several password management tools before Keeper, and Keeper is the best. For instance, 1Password failed to fill fields on a webmail host that Keeper handles with ease. I dreaded changing my password with LastPass or Bitwarden because the process was so clunky and error-prone with those tools. Keeper uses pop-ups with clear, precise instructions that walk me through the password change process. Last but not least, Keeper imports existing passwords from all the browsers using an incredibly simple, lightweight, and effective executable, so the process of migrating to Keeper is far superior to the competition.

Allows me to be a good girl and have a different password for everything. This is important because as an entrepreneur I often have to share only one or two passwords with a contractor to get their help on a project. Don't want those individuals having access to everything! This way I know I'm secure.

Prompts for master pw multiple times an hour. Upper bar application pops open unprompted, asking for master pw even on pages with no log in screen. Application randomly became blurry, like 360p

Very poor chrome integration, steals focus, doesn't close on ESC, etc. Other password managers are much better.

The product iteself seems good, but the auto fill drop down next to the website login forms is ugly and cumbersome, you just need simple two auto feel suggestions, nothing else. The overall system is great but, specifically, the chrome extension is rubbish. Persistently will not recognize my master password making the autofill feature absolutely useless.

Saves me so much time and easy to use on browser and mobile device.

I've been using Keeper for about a year now and I would highly recommend it. It works extremely well and even lets you save two-factor codes with the credentials, which is convenient because then you don't have to run a separate program just to get a 2FA code. I just renewed my subscription for another two years and I plan on using Keeper as my exclusive password manager and payment manager.

I was trying to update a password on Google and it just wrote over a different account entry when it generated a new password. Seriously frustrating! Had to recover that other account too!

I've been using for years and love the app on all my devices. I'm always recommending to friends and associates, but most people want something this secure and easy to use for free. Considering how much time and trouble it can be keeping your information safe and easy to access, it's totally worth it.

Works great across all my devices. Keeper is all I currently need to keep my credentials safe and this extension works really well on Google Chrome. Support team is one email away and they respond very quickly.

I wasted time and energy on keeper. Its not free anymore in any form. When added to browser it was free on one device but now no free option at all. also, there's no option to delete account. it looks like I was spammed. Disappointed.

My wife and I have been using Keeper for many years. I absolutely love the feature that allows us to implement 2FA on a single base account across two mobile phones. The Keeper support is also excellent. I have submitted questions on weekends and received a reply before Monday morning.

I wanted to love Keeper and in some ways it does work ok. However, I moved from LastPass and there is one key feature that is missing in Keeper... Keeper will keep prompting you to save passwords on all sites... It has no option to disable asking you to save a password on a single site. Suggested they add it as feedback awhile back and heard nothing back. Have recently been working with support and things have been AWFUL... Their support staff doesn't properly try and understand the issue, it sounds like a bunch of high-school students with their own opinions instead of someone trying to help you. Will very likely go back to using LastPass after this experience with support.

Not as intelligent as Others Company has switched to use Keeper (from LastPass, guess it is cheaper?), but critical features like auto-fill and auto-save just don't work most of the times... It's pretty awkward having to search from the vault and copy/paste the passwords.

I use Keeper on my phone, iPad and MacBook Pro. I love it and tell people over and over to download and use it. Safe, easy, auto-fill on my computer - I've used it for years.

Simply does not work. The login is impossible. When trying to get help all they say is to clear the browser cache and restart the device....

Most time it does not prompt to save new passwords. Shows option and overlay on textbox which are no related to login

I like it a lot better than LastPass. I've been using it for several years. I have it on my phone too. No complaints here.

It constantly logs me out of the extension despite having "Stay Logged In" turned on. I use a secure password that's saved to Google to sign into Keeper so I have no idea what my login is. This means I have to either look it up every time or go to the keeper admin page and login with Google filling in the login details.

Been using the free desktop version for years. Finally upgraded to the premium version and it's definitely worth the investment. Now I can easily use strong, unique passwords for all my logins without worrying that I will forget one on the go and need to go through the hassle of a password reset. Highly recommend if you care about the security of your login data.

Am just using Keeper for myself. Have been using it more than a year. For me It is very simple to use and saves a lot of time and trouble.

Great tool. It makes filling in web forms and passwords easy! Now that Keeper added 2FA support, this extension is even better! You can enter the 2FA info from a site, and when you're signing in, KeeperFill will automatically enter the code. That means I can keep my accounts more secure without adding complications. Thank you, Keeper Security, for continually improving the already excellent tools you've given us.

After 2 months and following instructions for chrome setup I have yet to have this app autofill an address or credit card information correctly.

Detect "localhost" is http is pretty stupid and popup is also annoying

Seriously just so frustrating, trying to log into Keeper Security is a complete mission. Im from AUS and its taken me 20mins just to log into my dam account. The login keeps on automatically re-routing me to the GB site even though im selecting AUS. The login is painfully slow & the auth often fails with errors its just really poor, will be looking to move once my subscription is up, simply not good enough

Used Password Keeper for years and I love it! It's great that it works across platforms (iOS, windows, phone, computer, etc) and with SO many passwords these days and the need for security, I don't have to try and remember them or write them somewhere that can be found by someone (or lost by me!). I now have unique passwords for most sites and am slowly changing old ones to more be more secure and not have duplicates. I feel a lot safer online.

The password features are good. Form filling is poor compared to Roboform. I find the keeper logo doesn't appear in forms. Then I try to use the context menu and 5 clicks later to fill in one field....then nothing happens. Its faster to type. I'm disappointed.

Awesome- works great. Keeps all my passwords secure, all in one place. Can easily share passwords with the family account and accessible on the go. Would love for ability to auto-fill from keeper app on iPhone like on a laptop but the ability to copy/paste works the majority of the time.

Used just about every password keeper and have had issues at some point, that I usually just work around during a year subscription. Not one time have I had any negative experiences with keeper across iPhone, Android, a Macbook Pro, and my pc.

Doesn't work for autofill on the very first page I tried (Azure Devops). Chrome and Firefox autofill works fine. Pretty pointless to migrate if it's not reliable.

Bit intrusive by default but luckily auto-submit and other things can be turned off. I wish there was a way to change or at least disable the keyboard shortcut however (cmd-shift-k). It breaks / overrides some web apps that I use.

Works well as long as you can remember your password to turn on the program. Works on all my computers and cell phones. It also has a vault feature that is helpful when you forget a website you want to access.

Constantly logs you out, support is useless. Every couple of weeks Keeper will force log you out of all your browser extensions for chrome and firefox; support gives some BS reason and asks you to reinstall, which fixes the issue because you have to log back in for it to work... but a couple weeks later you are logged out again, and support gives another BS reason and asks you to reinstall. They know it's broken but can't / won't fix it.

I have used Keeper for several years now for password generation, storage and the form fill function with very satisfactory performance. I recently migrated to a new computer tower running Win11 from a 12 year old unit running WIN10. As a senior citizen (75), I was apprehensive how the data would port over. All I had to do was install the Keeper extension on the new machine, log in with my master password, and everything was there-simple and flawless, and it worked beautifully. I highly recommend Keeper.

On the paid plan, using for about 6 months now multiple devices (Mac/Win/iOS). Pro's: - the password auto-paste works better than any other password security app we've tried - the Match Records dropdown list is clean and large enough for multiple logins to pick from (others, e.g. LastPass shows you only one login at the time from the list and you have to scroll to see the rest - imagine having 30+ logins for Google.com to search for...) Con's: - the new login/password update and registration doesn't work - for the new login you won't get prompt at all; for the password change you'll get Keeper popup but then when you "Fill-in" new password on a page it won't proceed further ("Next" button does nothing) - this is a fundamental flaw of the tool as you end up NOT recording new logins. LastPass got that nailed 100%. - ... Then when you want to save a new login manually you need to go to the Vault - and as you try to log in the Keeper gets frozen and you just see a spinning icon and nothing happens. - ... So you have to then refresh the thing several times and re-login the Keeper extension to get to your Vault. - Because of that, the "Create New" feature won't work forcing you to copy-paste every-single-part of the new login page you're trying to record in Keeper. - The "Don't Prompt on this domain" doesn't work and you get hammered with popups every time you refresh a page. - The popups - all of them - are unresponsive about 50% of the time. - It doesn't synchronise passwords between iPhones and desktops - we need to logging-in/out several times for new passwords to appear. All that makes this Keeper unusable. As said earlier, this is tested on multiple different devices and operating systems in our agency. After months of using it, we're switching back to LastPass. We do this with much trepidation as LP isn't great either - but much better than the Keeper app. Due to the fundamental flaws, a very poorly developed app and seemingly unresponsive support we can't recommend Keeper to anyone.

Slow to auth. often fails with console errors and worse, prevents whatever login/signup I'm attempting from working at all. No option to disable particular sites from being tracked, so it endlessly asks to save the credentials from the same websites. It's only plus imo is that it can save files.

It worked wrong from the beginning! It's way too complicated for all the wrong reasons. I wish I had never installed it!

"So good, makes you wanna SMACK your mom!"..... In all seriousness, after using it for a bit, I decided to go ahead and pay for a couple years in advance. Only reason for the 4 stars was (as multiple people have mentioned) again Keeper trying to default to all sorts of things that are not needed come time for renewal. Please put some thought into this - from a UX perspective people don't want to have to sleep with one eye open when it's time to renew. Your application should keep whatever the user has defaulted to as far as extra services. I pay close attention to things like this so it wasn't an issue for me come renewal time, I just disabled the extras that I don't want, but many users aren't forward thinking like that and if people end up getting charged extra you risk losing them altogether, which is a shame for such a rock solid application. Anyways that's my .02.

The password system I didn't know I needed. Stores passwords and shares them with my family, so we don't have to click "forget password" and then forget *that* password, yet again. Also super useful to keep track of other information we need only now-and-then, but when it is need, you need it fast; passport numbers, kids' library cards, SSN numbers, recovery codes to git-hub. Since I worked as a software developer at Keeper Security, I can attest to the fact that the data that is stored in completely encrypted; Data is only readable on your device after you enter your password. Keeper Security has Zero Knowledge of what you have stored. That's the technical term "Zero Knowledge".

This was the 2nd PW keeper that we've used. The 1st one we used was 1password which was absolutely horrible This one though was extremely easy to use and integrates excellently across all of our devices. We absolutely love it and highly recommend it!

So far this is the best service, on my opinion, that storing passwords. It's worth money they ask. I have tried a lot of password manager apps. But there is no better application than this one. Simple, convenient, very user friendly with simple interface. + The service has excellent support and pleasant agents.

Love keeper. Great way you can use it on your pc, phone, log in when away. Love the change password feature also when a site requires it. Great product, I recommend it to everyone.

Best Password app I've ever used! It's simple to use, integrates into almost everything and they make it so easy to C&P your password, credit cards, banking info into any program. It feels really secure too. Love, love, love! Will be a customer for a very long time!

Solid, no nonsense password protection

was great at first, but then one day it told me my free trial has ended and i needed to purchase a plan. nowhere on the website does it state that you eventually need to purchase this, nor was i given any warning that my trial was about to expire. i have no access to any of my passwords on my computer anymore. luckily i do have a password manager on my phone, but i could only imagine the pandemonium that would happen if i didn't.

The product is good on all platforms. On my PC I am able to use a Yubikey security key for 2FA, and for the extension that his holding the keys to the kingdom so to speak, I really appreciate that feature.

It's a great way to keep track of all of your login credentials and even other important notes that have nothing to do with logging into a website. Keeper syncs between all of my devices...Windows laptops and Android phone. The only issue I encounter is that some websites don't work as seamlessly with Keeper as others....so it requires me to click on the site's login button.

I love Keeper. As I get older passwords more difficult to remember. I feel secure using Keeper.

I have used this software for about two years and it has worked very well. I also use the mobile app at times and it all works well with each other.

I've used Keeper Security for several years and really like it. However, I wish I could print it out and keep it in my safety box. Several weeks ago I couldn't get into Keeper, for some reason, which meant I couldn't get into any of my password protected documents.

My previous password keeper crashed and it took us weeks to get eveything back together even with the backup. I reviewed best passwork storage products and this was #2. The tech support are helpful and rarely do I need to call them. I have peace of mind with this protected application. I have been with Keeper for more than 4 years.

It's getting better all the time.

Be careful. THIS IS A PAID SERVIC! Apparently there is a trial period and without any notice you are locked out of your account and you have to buy a subscription to gain access to you passwords..

It was great for passwords, but now they have all my info and are saying I need to purchase to use it anymore. That is not what was stated in the description. It's supposed to be free! I will not be recommending to anyone else!

I still have to learn, things he has learned to do, I wish he lived around here so I could pester him to come over and show me or better yet, teach me until it all "sinks in" . Keep up the good work. At my age I let you "guys" look after the security words or whatever they are called, as I don't recognize your security combinations as words, thank goodness.

What a time and worry saver!

Tried a few password managers before keeper and only one came close but it was not cross platform. For work it is great having a way to build custom records and give certain people access. We have made shared folders where department heads only have access admin records. People are granted access to folders depending on the position hold. The search works so well and the fact that it work on mobile devices has resulted in it being used as a knowledge base for processes and troubleshooting. I use a personal one also. Very simple to switch from work profile to personal. We setup shared folders for the adults and with each child and one for the household. This allows us to share what we want everybody in the house to have access to while keeping the parental codes just for parents. This results in a unique code for each device the kids have access to. Instead of trying to remember or having to call each we just open keeper and get the code. Keeper will also scan documents to enter into a record. We have a folder that is a virtual file cabinet basically and has allowed us to scan and securely store and share important paperwork that is easily searchable.

Safe, easy to use and share between family members via multiple platforms. highly recommended.

100% RECOMMEND KEEPER PASSWORD SECURITY MANAGER . I have been a loyal & satisfied user of KEEPER since near the beginning of when Keeper first launched (2009), back then I believe I loved the app so much, that I paid the "one-time purchase fee". It has been so long ago, I was unable to establish when that was exactly. It would be nice to have a "member since" emblem on my account, you know, like AMEX does on its cards! I recommended KEEPER to all my fiends as well as to my wife, when we first met and now, we share a family account. . Although, I did feel a little blindsided once Keeper began charging a yearly fee, I have come to rely on its convenience and unfailing usefulness. . KEEPER has been an outstanding companion, for use between devices, or when using someone else's device, in a pinch. NO MORE written passwords, on a Post-it note, stuck near my computer, in my wallet and DEFINITELY NO MORE "same password for everything" insecurities!! REMEMBER or TAKE NOTE OF THIS: saving passwords in your browser is NOT SECURE, saving everything on and launching it from KEEPER is secure. . This review mostly pertains to the KEEPER SECURITY Plugin on Brave Browser: unfortunately, I cannot report it works seamlessly, it is surely trustworthy as ever. With today's advent of 2-Factor authentication being put into place almost everywhere, including KEEPER, I am thankful that KEEPER has allowed the option of toggling it's use, ON or OFF on my home desk-top and laptop computers. There are still a few bugs to work out on the plugin. Sometimes the site where I register an account, uses a different login url for logging in, and therefore Keeper offers to make a new record for this site that I expect Keeper to recognize. Sometimes I find it necessary to go into my vault directly, and use the search feature to find the sign-in credentials which I know are saved there. . (I must admit, though I appreciate the usefulness of 2-Factor Authentication, I am annoyed by being forced to use it on my mobile device.) Remembering a time when we would leave our homes, device-free and not having a way to authenticate that I am signing into my account, other than by using this ONE PASSWORD needed to prove it is me. Gone are the days of borrowing someone else's device, I need to login to my KEEPER account IN ORDER TO ACCESSS my email account, in order to access the 2-factor authentication needed to access my KEEPER account! GET IT?

I was a long time LastPass user and recently switched to Keeper. Keeper's browser plug-in has worse user experience. There are two things which I feel extremely annoying. 1. When filling out an online form, Keeper will bring a pop-up dialog and suggest you to use generated password when it is in a password-like field. That pop-up dialog steals the keyboard focus away and break my typing flow. 2. Keeper adds many helper trigger to form components. The implementation has a severe flaw. It adds a tab-focusable item. The problem is that every time I hit tab and hope to jump to the next input, I'll be trap in that added item first. Then I'll need to hit [tab] again to jump to the proper input. This brings a lot of trouble when filling out an online form. Imaging that [tab] * 2 between every components.

I've been using Keeper and this extension for I think at least 5 years. New features are regularly added - way beyond password management. The dev seems very active. Keeper has been flawlessly (as far as I know) storing very valuable data for me. Fingers crossed they don't get hacked. Looking forward to the next evolution with physical keys.

Excellent integration over all of my devices and sharing between the wife and I is great, including for 2FA protected accounts. Response time and outcome from the support team has been great for any queries I have had. Keep up the great work Keeper

Keeper is awesome (I switched from another common PW manager of 10 years) and this extension is one of the things that makes using it a breeze. The extension is the primary day to day interface, and this is perfect and tailorable. Highly recommend.

Great product, intuitive to use. My internet world is much more organized and efficient to use. Helps me pay my bills and on-line activity sooooo much easier!

It's a great app\extension. I just hope and pray that they don't ever get hacked and my info is compromised.
