how to use this extension for refused slots?

I never got access id from post filling the form.

Its a good tool! But when the CGI Site was down for couple of days the contribution couldn't be done and now the extension has stopped working. Please advise. Also, for subscribed folks there should be a Help option in place to resolve any queries.

I liked the idea but I am not getting an access code on my mail. The emailer isn't working.

Paid for this service, waiting since 3 days. I get the email with good number of slots yet no luck. All the dates are either 2025 or none. How is this possible?? One more scenario where I have retrieved the screenshots like 30 seconds ago with 9-10 slots, login to CGI, boom no luck.

Thank you so much for developing checkvisaslots. I was very skeptical when I have to install this extension but read the reviews and gave it a try. I am so glad I did it. Especially, when you are trying to book a slot from USA, the slots were always released in odd hours which made it so difficult to be active and book it before all the agents and people in India. I tried using telegram and fb groups too but they are all loaded with so many people and got too many notifications which made me miss few bulk slot releases. So. I took two months subscription because all the reviews said they didn't take much time to book a slot. Also, with this extension I was able to see both OFC and CA appointment dates and number of slots available so I could decide if I have to login and try at all or not. After getting this extension I was able to book my slot with first bulk openings. This helped me book the slot by myself instead of giving my credentials to some agent whom I cant trust with giving all my personal information. I am so grateful to their customer service too. I had too many questions which were all answered patiently and promptly. Thanks a ton again! I cant wait to see my parents! :) I never gave a review online before. Fake Data, not at all helpful

Took their email subscription for booking B2 visa appt for my parents and it worked like a gem. Emailed them to change the notification email from my father's to mine and they did it in 1 hour, on a Sunday! And just today, bulk slots for New Delhi opened and I got their email and I saw able to book right away. Their chrome extension works well and I would say it was money well spent.

I paid for 3 months email subscription and it worked really well for me. I got an appointment alert within 2 days and since I logged in quickly, I was able to book the appointment as well. would totally recommend this to other friends.

Excellent Visa Slot Alert system!!! Very much Reliable, Affordable and Accurate. After a long wait I was able to book the earliest open slots only because of this subscription. Used this extension to check visa interview slot availability and its safe to say it works like a charm. It's an absolute lifesaver since its saved my cgi portal logins. Also using the premium feature which comes with email alerts, helped me book my VI slots at 3am at night. if not for this tool would not have got my visa appointment.

Thanks for building this. It will take some days to understand how to use this service like a pro but I was able to book within 7 days of getting to know about this tool. Take its paid service only to get emails and exact dates. Else, it won't help you. This works exactly like it has told in details.

Very Good Able to book Appointment in a week

I have received 5 alerts about the same dates in Mumbai but everytime I logged in, the dates weren't there. The alert is fake and I don't know if it's intentional or not but this extension is making me waste my logins. Fake slots since yesterday for Mumbai 16, 21, 23 December.

I am premium member, got lot of alerts(H1B regular) today 5,6,8,7,3 slots but after logging into CGI nothing was showing up and my todays quota got exhausted. Totally disappointed

Hey guy, Great work! Even before purchasing this subscription. I thought a lot is it worth or not. We created our own WhatsApp group, also gave my account to agent for 20k in worst case. But the situation is quite different here, I booked the slots before him and agent is requesting me for the slots release hints. Guys, I'm telling you close your eyes get this subscription it will let you sleep peacefully. Some ppl don't get email notifications or sound. just change email notification sound (call ringtone) it will help you wake up at any time. If you don't get the notification there are other email Apps can log in gmail will get you email notification early.

Guys, this is a life saviour! Ditch sleepless nights, agent chases, and tension to wait for a year or more for CA. Blindly go for CheckVisaSlots. And one more thing, the response time to any support query is incredible. I wish I could do more than just write a review. I have a few more visa applications to do for my family. First of all, Thanks Arjun, you are awesome! Would highly recommend subscribing to email alerts - its impossible to miss alerts if bulk slots open up. I received hundreds of emails back in October from this extension when bulk slots opened up and that is what I was looking for. I had setup email alerts on my mobile and phone didn't stop ringing for long time as it kept on sending alerts until slots were available and I loved it then. :)

You are Godsend. I just booked an appointment for January (just what I wanted) only after a couple of days of getting paid subscription. This is amazing tech. 2 weeks after taking subscription, bulk dates opened and I immediately received an alert. Important thing to note is we need to be patient for the bulk dates to open. Before that I did receive alerts usually for 2-3 slots, which go away by the time we login. Their support team was very responsive. On the whole a super useful extension that takes away the anxiety around visa slot booking. Highly recommend it.

Extremely useful and almost mandatory if you want to find a suitable visa slot within a short time. And the platform does it without impugning on your personal details or being too obstructive. And it's collaborative right? So we help our fellow aspirant out as we try and find a slot ourselves. Highly recommended - especially the mail-alert feature which lets you keep up-to-date even on the move. As a small feedback, is it possible to integrate the extension into chrome-mobile as well? I find it not as well integrated as in the desktop version.

I think the USP of this extension is that it can save logins. The crowdsource effort if correctly utilized can save those precious logins at the cgi portal, and you can avoid getting blocked. One more thing is that community is the central cog for this to work, the more people install this, more benefit you can reap. I did not pay for the subscription but I have no doubts that it won't work, all the information is already available in the extension page. Just that instead of you hitting the "Retrieve" button repeatedly, it will send you a notification as the slots availability is updated in their central system. Which again is more accurate if more people install this. Thanks a lot to the original authors :)

Helpful extension, although I am still in trying to book one for me with premium subscription. The team is helpful.

This extension is a crowdsourced way to obtain US visa appointment information. I have had a pro subscription for more than a month, but it has never worked out for me. There are two cases when booking a visa appointment. First, when there are tons of appointment available (in which case, you don't need an extension like this). Second, when there are no appointments available. In the latter case, even if the extension notifies you of an availability, it will take you at least a minute to login, especially with all the captchas CGI federal has added. By that time, the appointments are already gone. Further, since the extension asks you to contribute to maintain your "ranking", it has frequently resulted in the "Maximum attempts reached" notification in my case. It's okay to not help me get an appointment, but how can one tolerate negative impact on the process. Not to mention the high subscription cost.

I have been trying now for more than 2 weeks for H1B Dropbox slots. Logging in daily 4 to 5 times, but no slots. Using the extension, have got notifications few times of slots availability, but never actually got one. Mostly you'd get notifications from someone who already has a slot and revisits to see if a better one is available. Or I think someone checks for interview or slots of other visa types and the extension catches their slot availability. The extension/notifications have made me realize that others are getting slots, but I am just plain unlucky.

I got a slot within 24 hours of subscription. Thank you for creating this extension. It takes the pressure off. I remember I booked an appointment without this last December and it was horrible. I didn't know when the slots are opening, if my login is going to be wasted and most importantly I could check only 3 times before I am blocked for 72 hours. I changed my company and have to go stamping again. TBH I was terrified of going through the process again. Staying up late night, trying to figure if I am going to get a slot and then I heard about this extension from a friend of mine. This is super helpful, you don't need to login, the extension will show you if there are slots. When I got my new I797 with the petition ID, I signed up for the email subscription and I got the slot in 24 hours of signing up. We don't need to go to any agents, this extension is very very helpful. I am grateful to the team who built this. Thank you thank you thank you!! :D

Booked my slot in 4 days! Incredible platform. I wasted 4 months of my time with agents and was unsuccessful. The alerts are very useful. Keep an eye out for any patterns in the alerts and you can likely book even faster! Going to share the service with other friends as well :)

Used their paid service for availability alerts, and managed to book just in time before all slots went out. Awesome experience. Optionally, it would be a great feature if one can send test email through the portal to see how the actual email will look and check if alerts / filters are setup correctly.

This extension was a game changer for me, especially in times when it's so uncertain as to when US consulates plan to open slots in India! CheckVisaSlots extension and browser helps you navigate around very easily and there isn't any need to keep logging into CGIPORTAL, which locks you out if checked frequently!! CheckVisaSlots also requires contribution through simple logging into CGIPORTAL so it captures when you see "no appointment available" for your visa category, it isn't very hard at all. Search, Book, Contribute and enjoy this lovely extension! This extension actually works. Signed up one week ago (for the email alerts) and I regularly checked the CGI portal for slots. Because of the email alert I was able to book slots for me and my wife. If they get more users we can weed out the illegal agents. Don't forget that your active contribution is needed for you to get alerts at proper time. Good luck with your slot search.

CheckVisaSlots does an amazing job of keeping you updated on the visa slots availability. The Chrome and Safari extensions are unobtrusive and very easy to use. I was impressed with the functionality and decided to also get the paid subscription for a 45 day period, which was worth every penny because I was able to quickly get an alert in time to book an appointment. Their ranking algorithm for the alerts also seemed fair in the sense that it ensures the crowd-sourced nature of the app.

This is a great service to all of us who are stuck trying to book an appointment. Developer is very responsive and helped me troubleshoot an issue where my contributions were not getting logged. Hope to get my slot soon. Thank you for this amazing tool!

Great thought, initiative and seamless system at need of the hour. This really bypass agents who are abusing the system. Support is excellent in responding on time and resolving the issue. Already recommended to few in my circle :) When I discussed with support team, requested them to add alerts to mobile apart from email. Weird thing happened today! I only logged into my CGI account twice and checked the dates while this extension is added to my chrome browser and my account was locked for 72 hours due to suspicious activity. I wonder if this extension doing something suspicious behind the scene? I am really worried and would like to caution you guys as well. Be careful. Wonder, if this extension stole my CGI password which is auto stored in the browser?

The chrome extension alert on H1B availability is out of synch with screenshots and CGI portal. Extension is showing false available slots where as screenshots are more accurate.

This is an awesome initiative team, I enabled my premium subscription last week for email alerts with lost hope on getting slots for Oct 2022 (We were desperate for Oct slots as I had specific dates requirement and also not comfortable going with agents). During the bulk Hyderabad opening last night (around 6/10 10 PM CST hours), I was able to book Oct 2022 dropbox appointments for my family. I received timely email alerts with availability information and location. This was super helpful, I would highly recommend to anyone who is desperately looking for dropbox slots. Most important thing is email alert had information about availability with dates which gives greater confidence to login without worrying about wasted login / other issues. Super helpful, appreciate the team who come up with this idea to help people.

I had only 65 days before my program start date and there were no F-1 visa interview slots at all... And the worst part, we could try booking an appointment only like 10 - 12 times a day. So, I was very anxious and nervous... Thankfully, I discovered check US visa slots website and their amazing chrome extension via twitter. This is a great initiative to verify if the slots are available prior to logging into the cgi website. I booked my visa appointment and my spouse's appointment on the same day and same city. I will probably use it for booking my parents' visitor visa appointments as well.

I was able to book and reschedule appointment. Initially I got Aug-2023 H1B dropbox appointment at Chennai. I wanted earlier appointment. I paid for subscription and got the email alert with slot availability at Hyderbad for Jult-2022. I logged in and secured the appointment. I recommend this extension highly. I logged out from all the telegram groups. OMG agents were asking 25k/45k INR and most of the agents are fraudsters. Kudos to this extension. They deserve 5+/5 start rating. I reached their support for some clarification and they promptly responded. It would be nice to see when was the last time appointments were released or available?
