Works really well! Only thing is that when you click 'Disable Everywhere', it still says 'Disable Everywhere' instead of being changed to something like 'Enable Everywhere'. This confused me for the first while because I thought there was no way to reenable it everywhere because there was no indication that the purpose of the button changed.
Did not work when I used it, just annoying, none of the buttons worked.
It’s somewhat helpful, but it seems like it’s in need of a complete rewrite. The buttons break if you press them too much; press the Disable Everywhere button about 4-5 times and then flip between Enable Here and Disable Here a few times and suddenly, no matter which on/off option it’s on, the brightness slider doesn’t work. Fidget around with it a bit more, (closing and opening it and clicking a few buttons) and it "fixes" again. It’s annoying, because it seems like the extention can’t decide whether it’s supposed to be working or not. Suggestions: • Fix the enable/disable problem. • Combine the sliders into one slider, and put the other nighttime, daytime, apply to all or only this domain, and start time functionality in a settings menu. • Modernize the interface.
It does it's job but the caveat is that it's breaking the baseline styles of some sites like Twitter; so for now, you just have to manually turn the plugin off for those domains. Fix this and you get 5 stars.
Used to be good, now it simply doesn't work correctly anymore and it doesn't appear that the developer bothered to update it in the four months it's been broken. The toggle buttons don't work like they should although the base functionality for dimming works once the toggle actually applies. Until it's fixed, it's worthless.

stopped working properly about a month ago now it doesn't matter what times you set up within the extension it goes dim at midnight every night only way around it is to manually move the slider up to 100% and manually slide it back down when you want it to dim it completely ignores the app's built in scheduling this was a solid 5 stars before this
Good extension, does what it says, no more no less. My use case is that I use exclusively dark mode on my OS and Browser settings, so when a white screen comes up it is often too bright. This plugin mitigates that issue.

I have sensitive eyes. I keep my screen brightness at Min and have Night Light to 'warmest' and have Dark Mode enabled and still the screen is too bright for me at night. This extension does exactly what I need : it applies an extra filter over the browser's pages and darkens it as much as I want - down to barely visible if needed. Perfect. One complaint is there are no adjustment buttons on the browser, I need to click on the extensions icon, then click on the extension itself and only then I get the adjustment for the extension. Oh and the extension doesn't work on the Google Store site - how messed up this Google platform can be
Having 2 separate bars (daytime/nightime) is super annoying. There's no 1 single control. Most importantly, the brightness doesn't apply to fullscreen videos.
Works like it's suppossed to for the most part, but recently it stopped dimming full pages and only dims certain parts of the page I'm looking at. I open up google drive and it now only dims the square sections for the document previews instead of the whole page. And it also stops working when I full screen videos. It's great to use other than those two issues and I've had this extension for a while now.

I am in love with this extension. It does what it needs to do. My laptop's brightness was so high even when it was lowered to the lowest before and now that I added this extension I'm never removing it!!

very simple and fast. Works fine for me
1/ I removed it from Chrome, but the brightness stayed low (the browser tab is still dimmed at the time it was set in the extension). 2/ I reinstalled it, but it didnt fix the problem, it looks like the new value is multiplying the old value. At 100% new value the screen is still dimmed at 80% old value.

Simple, yet so compact and useful. May not work on other sites, but still works darn well on most sites. It doesn't work on the google app store or the homepage. However, it's useful and does exactly what you want.

It didn't work.
This app BREAKS print viewing. ALL print preview pages will be completely blank, it isn't just cosmetic - printing anything from your browser will result in a blank page with this app on. This app alone was causing the problem. If you are unable to print anything from Chrome, remove this app & restart your browser.
