It works but it also remove recommend tweet, i was reading some funny tweet that i don't follow but twitter does recommend me some related tweet to me and this add ons just removes them out of nowhere mid reading, i thought it was just a bug or error but i happened since i installed this
I really hate getting promoted tweets, so I had to install this. It works the best! However, there's one problem I've been experiencing after I installed this: Everytime you go to a profile that has promoted tweets and the promoted tweets disappear, 5 or 10 seconds later everything just disappears and it just says "Something went wrong." I'd be happy if you fix it.
Does exactly what it says; Removes adverts. Would love more options, i.e. "remove new twitter features that can't be turned off via twitter settings" but as far as recommendations go, very happy with results!
is there a perfect chrome extension? i don't know about that, but for sure i can't use twitter anymore without having this one installed. actually amazing. take back your social feed without getting smacked in the face every 3rd post with targeted eye poop! love your work Ryan ?

After unhappily living with a torrent of ill-targeted promoted ads, I had enough and installed this extension. Can't recommend it highly enough. Worked straight out of the box. Very pleased indeed
I had to buy a new Chromebook and for whatever reason I had 1 "promoted" ad for every 4 tweets. I was losing my mind and tried all sorts of adjustments but nothing worked. I blocked so many ads. I found this and don't even understand what an extension is, but it works. Now, I can get back to reading Twitter without being totally annoyed. Thank you.
This works as advertised. I wish there was an option to block the accounts instead of just hiding the promoted tweets, though.
Operating on 1.0.3 and it is absolutely not working...even if I specifically set twitter as a site.

Sometimes it lags a bit, but it works flawlessly almost always. A great download
Can you also give the option to block "what's happening" on twitter?
Slight bug, if you scroll up through posts the extension messes with your scrolling. I'll be looking at a post, scroll up one tick, and suddenly the tweet I was reading is 2 or 3 tweets down on the page now. Otherwise, this is exactly what you'd expect it to be.
Works as described, without much overhead. Beauty in simplicity. Thanks!

Excellent extension that deserves more 5 star ratings. All the negative ratings piled on when twitter changed their layout and the extension temporarily didn't work.
been working like a charm for years now, but recently it's been causing video glitches where the video will disappear if scrolled off, if this gets fixed, it's a 5 star product

The new twitter layout breaks the extension but a minor update to the extension should be able to fix that, beyond that minor thing the extension works great.
Doesn't block promoted tweets on new twitter layout. Also, removes support for communism, so the extension doesn't even deserve a star at all.
Works well to remove promoted tweets.
