Doesn't work. Left-click-- takes you to your downloads page. Right-click-- gives you useless options. Don't waste your time on this extension.

Thanks for adding a feature that should be an option by default.
It's essentially a bookmark to the download page, which is the same as navigating to chrome://downloads/ or pressing ctrl+j I kinda hoped for something more like the MS Edge download button that shows the downloads from the toolbar, but Chrome probably doesn't allow extensions to do this. I can see this shortcut benefiting some users so I won't give it a bad rating, but I'll personally uninstall it s I can just ctrl+j for the same experience without clogging up my toolbar.

Functional, useful, necessary, unbloated, well-designed, easily usable, handy, must-have, etc.: all terminology I label the Chromium/Chrome extension Download Button with - God, I sound like a salesman! Anyways, it has some options for app configuration and even personalization (via icon customization), but even so, I want more configuration/tweaking possibilities. Conclusion: Add more to Options, then I will reward you with a five-star review! Otherwise a great extension.

It acts exactly as promised. Though, I would like it if the context menu was another roll-out menu, so I could I access what I was looking for directly from the context menu rather than going to downloads page first. Still, full delivery.

Joe PappNov 15, 2013 Was willing to give this a try and installed it only to be spammed with two new tabs by the developer, one in which he pimps a bunch of other software, and another in which he demands a 5-star rating and implies that a donation via PayPal and positive review are obligatory or you'll continue to be spammed with said horrible pages. Result? ---> UNINSTALL! so so so true

Just what I needed and missed from other browsers.
always wished for a 1 clik way to open downlods. crome pops a button at bottim of screen but only when you start a download. it stays there as long as you dont change tabs.
The downloading speed is very slow when compared to other Download managers. Can we speed up the downloading speed in future versions ? Like 5 times speed ? !
It doesn't allow me to download big files into flashget and it only shows me crappy chrome download list.

It is so practical.
Love the right click and the change icon on toolbar. Would be nice to have a download toolbar like the Firefox download bar addon. Set to scan w antivirus after download completes. Auto clear jpg and certain small files after download is completed. Works Great!
