I'm positively impressed : I got an answer to my mails within two hours and the problem was solved. It works fine again. Mediahint is not a perfect tool but it still allows me to watch some channel outside of the country. The most important is to know that when there is a problem somebody might actually care. Thank you.

Worked very intermittently - no reply from support on all three occasions trying to contact them. I'm out.

Use to work great but it stopped working for Netflix about a year and a half ago and now it no longer works for Hulu.

Doesn't work and can't contact developer.

Used to work great but the last 3 weeks have trouble every time I try to get BBC iPlayer. Support does notreply to e-mails.

I use it to listen to Pandora and it works great!

Has yet to work- glad it's free for 7 days. Content on Netflix is the same with/without

Started opening new tabs endlessly after the 7-day trial went down. Had to delete it. I don't recommend this app to anyone.

Used to be great, however after paying for another subscription, it doesn't work at all. The chrome extension won't even open now. And don't even try contacting the support, no-one ever replies. Very dissapointing.

Always worked great for me and I used it to watch BBC iPlayer, but now it doesn't seem to work on there. Still works everywhere else, but not BBC..

Sadly, although it works for a short while, within a few minutes, the proxy screen comes up on Netflix and you have to constantly refresh just to get it working for a few minutes more.

It's just sitting there doing absolutely nothing. It constantly says "off" and never turns on.

I used to use it for BBC, ITV, Am. Netflix It doesn't work anymore.

I have been using this for many years and it still works great. I have no reason to use it with Netflix UK. However the DNS settings modification to my router do stop Netflix from working since they have blocked MediaHint, hence 4 stars. This means I have to run MediaHint extension through Chrome.

Not working with Android devices as advertised(Also No answer from Mediahint support to my questions).It works with Google Chrome and Iplayer, although stopped working yesterday all day, and today started working again. If not improved, i ll search for another DNS service.

DOES NOT WORK WITH NETFLIX US, Netflix blocks this yet they pretend it still works. Also they "conveniently" removed the cancel premium plan button so the website offers no way to unsubscribe. Serious mal practice. This went from a useful extension to a bloody scam.

DO NOT PURCHASE! This used to be a great extension, allowing us to watch Netflix US content from Canada. However, Netflix stopped allowing this many months ago, and Mediahint hasn't done anything about it and are STILL charging my account every month. I'm finally about to block payments on Paypal. DO NOT BUY THIS, IT DOES NOT WORK!

Worked for a few weeks, paying for an annual subscription but Netflix will not allow the use of a Proxy as this is pretty much the only thing I wanted it for, useless. Contacted Media Hint "Support" twice not had a response either time, will NOT be using this again in the future. Would have given zero star rating but then you can't leave a comment.

I am in a us and can watch the UK shows with no issues. Their new platform works great.

Same as all the others, it was great but not anymore. It doesn't work the way they say it will, however it use too. That is why I started to pay them. Really hope they get their Sh*t together! because I miss their old service and it was free. Wouldn't care if they charged more as long as it would worked all the time, every time.

Problem is media hint itself. was great, but I was a premium customer, and being charged twice a month. Until they get their accounting straight, then I will upgrade the rating.

Stopped working for hulu weeks ago

Was good. now they want you to give them access to you google account with all your private info to sign in. how ridiculous!

Hasnt worked properly on Netflix in months. I had a paid subscription for ages. Contacted support, they took ages to respond and had nothing to offer but to "wait". Waited months and no result. Do not pay for this service.

Netflix works, aber one needs 10 times press on and off not to get a message "you are using a proxi". that's good for a free service, but a paid one should work better!

Does not work with Hulu.jp, which they have listed as a supported site. I contacted support and they told me they would contact development. My free trial is ending today and it hasn't worked once. Obviously I will not be continuing with the service.

I've been using it for a couple of years, never bothered with Netflix as I have it anyway. Works great for what I want it for, BBC Iplayer & ITV Hub for UK shows.

It was OK but since March it does not work with Netflix, their main focus is on Netflix but now it will not work at all. They sent me an email saying that it would be fixed in 24-48 hours mid June but unfortunately it has not. I have read many people saying it isn't a Netflix issue, however I took a trial with Viper DNS and their service worked fine, shame I like Media Hint but I am now forced to leave them as they have no fix.

I rated this 5 stars ages ago, and I'm updating this review again after two years of use. Still five stars. Would give it six if I could. Occasionally you have to update and restart, but basically this makes my life better. Totally worth the money.

Netflix and prime came up with a proxy warring as soon as i opened it

NOT WORKING ANY MORE.....When it did I had such a GREAT experience....but now I get blocked by Hulu and Netflix....

No longer delivers as advertised. It worked great for the first year. However, now that Netflix is pressured to actively deny access to people circumventing regional restrictions, Media Hint's ability to function with it is spotty. Media Hint still promotes itself as being able to circumvent Netflix's restrictions, but it does not always work properly. A paid service should deliver what it says it will, consistently. It's too bad that it has come to this, but I am cancelling my subscription until Media Hint is useful for watching Netflix. If they find a way to consistently deliver, I will absolutely continue to renew.

UPDATE: May.2016 - up until recently is has been very useful, I can't even access my own Netflix account at times, regardless of having the extension turned on or off, let alone other media ______ It has always done what is was supposed to, been very useful for me, even have access to Hulu

Worked for almost a month. It got me my shows while I was overseas long enough to get hooked and now it won’t work. I’ve spent hours trying to get it to connect like it used to. Wasted evening. It quit on me. I’ll be quitting this subscription.

Stupid

Worked perfectly throughout the 7 day free trial. I decided to purchase the full year as I'll get a lot of use out of it on US Netflix alone... *literally* 20mins after I pay for a full year, Netflix stops working because I'm using a proxy.

It was working O.K. but a couple of day's ago it just stopped and I can no longer get U.S. Netflix. I wonder if there is any way to get my money back as I prepaid for the year.

Paid for it for a couple of months and honestly it worked 1/10th of the time...literally in the middle of a show "Streaming Error- this title is not available in your region". It just straight up doesn't work. It was great for the first two weeks I had it, then the first time it crashed I emailed support and basically all they had to say was sorry, hopefully it starts up again soon. Not even worth the $3.

it was working fine for almost a year now but has stopped working on netflix recently. when it's on and does work, the netflix home page takes really long to load and movies dont load. otherwise, the homepage itself doesnt load. i know it's the plug-in because when i switch it off, netflix loads up fine. i really hope you fix it soon.

It WAS working great until HULU caught on and stopped allowing anonymous IP address tools. Is there a way to change the IP address the extension is using?

After several seven day trials, I've decided to pay for full year for this Chrome app. I love it because it works across all devices that I use: desktop (work and home), two laptops, and windows tablet.

I cannot get Netflix to work...i will give 5 stars if you get this working for me by Friday

How are you supposed to use it? You can click the icon to turn it on and off, but it doesn't do anything. There seems to be no way to set the country you want to watch from.

Would give this 5 stars if the price was just a little bit lower. Anyway, this is an amazing app and it opens up so many places and opportunities. Makes netflix 100 times better. Easy to use.

It works like a charm. No lags or whatsoever. It's just paid. You dont even need to do anything. Just install this extension and visit the website! (Pandora etc)

Awesome! Low price, wouldnt use Netflix without it. Would be a nice feature if you could choose country in the future :) (Example: Enable Canadian content instead of American, or something like that)

Such a good, easy to use plug in. I haven't had a single problem with it. I really like that it's just a small icon you just click on to toggle it on and off. I have no problem paying the small monthly price for it. I know all these people leaving bad reviews aren't working for free. Why would you expect the developers of this app to do so?

I couldn't get the Windows app or the Firefox extension to work but it works great with Chrome. I received a very prompt reply from customer service in response to my questions. I think it is worth paying if it doesn't pose any risk to my computer, which some of the free ones might.

Well, the only reason I went for the trial is to watch the Al-Jazeera "World War I through Arab Eyes" doc on YouTube which is restricted to this country (U.S.). With MediaHint active, STILL not available. So, what's the point. Dropping after Trial period.

This extension works beautifully in Firefox but does not work at all in Chrome. I switched from Firefox last year. Perhaps it's time to switch back.

worked great in trial period. So, I paid, and bang, doesn't work. Since this is something I only planned to use when traveling, if it doesn't work NOW, then it doesn't work. And their support page? 404 not found when I try to submit a ticket.

Was good until they started charging for it. And it did it when my kids were right in the middle of a movie and shut it off! They were upset and so was I. I thought it was FREE!! What a joke!
