From December 8th, 2014 to December 3rd, 2022, 17% user give 5-star rating, 33% user give 4-star rating, 25% user give 3-star rating, 8% user give 2-star rating, 17% user give 1-star rating. for Loadr - Daily Links chrome extension.
Depend on it! We've used it for years to open our favorite links. Works perfectly. (Minor Request: Please add a way for us to re-sequence our links.)
I've been using this on a daily basis for almost a decade. Enough said!
Is this working anymore? As of Dec 8th, 2018 the options page buttons do not work for me.
Choose the option to open tabs on startup. This even fired when I opened a link which is a pop out reselting in this opening the same tabs twice. Startup in when I open chrome. NOT, while I'm using it. Unistalled.
Hate it... where is daily links and why the hell can't I order the tabs. Big time downgrade from daily links.
Recently I tried to make changes to "Daily Links" which didn't save and so I learned it actually doesn't work anymore. (If only I hadn't touched it). This for me does that trick as a replacement though. Have looked at others, but those didn't do a single click load. This does. Others have pointed out the shortcomings (listing by alphabet, ..). I only use it for 4 links so simply added a number at the beginning of the link name.. that name doesn't show when loading, so only done once. Sorted. In the true meaning of the word. Have been using it now for a few days and happy with it.
As Daily Links has stopped working, I've been forced to find a replacement. This does allow you to batch open a number of tabs, however, important features/aspects are missing. 1) Loadr will open all your tabs in alphabetical order regardless of how you've added them. It means grouping your tabs by content (ie. all my news tabs, all my entertainment tabs, all my work based tabs) is a waste of time on the initial set up and a daily frustration on using the extension. 2) The method of deleting added urls is not intuitive (there's no delete function, you need to untick the url and then save. It's poor UX. 3) There remains no method of reordering urls once you've added them - something Daily Links did from the get go. I will be on the lookout for something better now that Daily Links no longer works (or will be keeping an eye on it in the hope it works again). I bemoan the lack of a proper version of Morning Coffee that Firefox users enjoy.
When adding links the page scrolls down part way and not to the actual entry where you can place the days it opens on. You could avoid this by allowing us to set the days BEFORE we save the URL. Also I'm not a fan of displaying all the links in one big list, please sort them like Morning Coffee in Firefox did where it can be sorted under the days so that it's a lot neater. Also as Carla said below please allow us to set the sequence.
Nice replacement for the now obsolete Daily Links. Great work!
I wish it would allow me to order the links to open in the sequence I choose instead of alphabetically... Or does it? I tried dragging and dropping the selected links in Options, but although I can drag them, they just drop back to were they are in the alphabetical sequence.
does this sync?
The app is so rad! I've only just begun using it but the interface is clean and pretty easy to use. The ability to select tabs that must be opened is rad - all your bookmarks are listed with a checkbox.
