i love it
Exactly what I needed. Super simple to use. Perfect!
It nearly downloaded 4k+ links for me and the selective download option was very helpful!!
Works well, very simple to use, thank you!
This one actually worked!! The rest of the ones I tried could not find the mp3's I wanted to download. I just need to figure out how to get it to select only one of the two links that the site provides for every mp3
Easy to use and works great
I had to download 144 mp3 archived files from patreon as a backup. worked like a charm.
Works well.
Works great
Awesome!! worked really well. Could be better if there was an option to ignore duplicates and/or filter by description, not just filename.
You must set chrome://settings/downloads to your download location and turn off ask for save location prior to running the batch command. Huge headache if you do not do this. Ideally, the extension would simply ask that if the file number is over say 5 files. The extension worked to download 278 pdf files for me, so thanks!
It is easy to download bulk of files, especially pdf document
正是我想要的,可以下载网页上的所有pdf文件,赞! 是否可以增加一个参数,设置同时下载的最大个数?有些网站同时下载文件数过多时,会限制下载。
Very efficient and to the point. Tried some other extensions to download multiple files but none of them worked. This works like a charm!
Thanks to mod/ext. maker. Did exactly the function I needed. Technology is amazing!
Good, but it needs to let me select a auto location to download to so I won't have to keep hitting the download button for every file. Some take a long time to download and I am not staying awake all night to finish downloading files.
Excellent. Needed to grab some pdfs at the last minute. Worked very well.
Lightest and the only bulk downloader that works out of almost 10 I've tried at this point in time. Please add some extra features most importantly to be able to create multiple filters (at least a comma separator) and be able to save such a filter.
It really helped and ease my work. Excellent
Simple and effective. Nice feature set. Runs well on Linux. Great stuff.
Slow. Apparently, can only download 3 files at a time. Completely worthless. Not recommended. UPDATE (2021): Looks like the creator has updated the extension, so that it works much better. So, I now can recommend it. However, it just downloads the HTML webpage. It does not include URL info in the download's header or footer as one might get when downloading as PDF on Chrome Print. So, I'm not sure it completely fulfills my needs.
Did what I wanted! Good way around music sites that force you to sign-in/donate in order to do any type of bulk-download.
It would be nice If I have an option to download the files by the link text name and not by link name.
It doesn't work on some sites.
Good, not perfect. My only real complaint is that it sometimes downloads everything twice and I don't see a way to get around it
Works better than the fancy downloader extensions.
I tried four of the most popular batch file downloaders, testing with Vivaldi on Linux, before finding this one. This is the only one that actually downloaded all selected files successfully in one shot. This would be five stars, but it needs just a few more features/polish - expecially a max-connections option.
This save me alot of time
This is an incredibly useful extension that has always worked perfectly for me. If you download large numbers of files, it is a necessity. One of the best extensions I've ever used.
Feature suggestions: - remove duplicates from the list - names the downloaded pages with the title of the HTML page instead of "download n" (where n is the nth downloaded page)
I want the window to remain open, there's no way to keep it popped up while I scroll the window. Doesn't seem to work anyway on Likee.video.
Wow, no SELECT ALL. If I have a downloader app. I want select all
Not bad and works as intended, but it would benefit greatly from an option to change how many downloads can run at once. Also sometimes the extension can fail and start downloading a bunch of .html files, and you have to clear all downloads in the queue to make it stop.
Thgis use to be a life saver, now it simply refuses to load pdf links, images seem ok, but i don't need it for that, annoying. Stopped working a few months ago.
Does not work
Helped me save a lot of time. Works as it should, can download many files at once, and the file selecting process was very convenient
A great batch downloader for sites linking to multiple files and does everything I need. It detects links just fine from all the sites I've tried (with links directly to files) though there's room for a little improvement. The option to "Select/Deselect All" would be much appreciated in the interface. And I wish files would download first to last sequentially/alphabetically - currently they download in reverse no matter what order files are chosen.
It is very simple and does exactly what its supposed to as I needed to! thank you
It works and is less confusing than "Simple mass downloader" (which I couldn't get to work), but when I select files 1.jpg, 2.jpg, 3.jpg, etc., it starts downloading from the bottom of the list instead of the top. If I move to another page and back, the extension closes, and when I reopen it my previous selection is no longer selected (but at least it continues to download from the queue). A direct link to Chrome's downloads settings would be helpful so I can turn off the "ask where to save each file" when I want to bulk download and then turn it back on when I am finished with the bulk downloading.
The extension has some big problems, it doesn't follow redirects for downloads making it 80% less useful, the 'deselect all' and 'select all' features also don't work (while the buttons are there)..
Why in the world isn't there a way to set a default folder to download ALL links to? Right now, for every single file a box pops up asking what folder do you want to save the file to. So tedious. The whole point is to batch download automatically with one click.
downloads each individually so you have to sit there and hit save for every fil.e
Great tool.I use it all the time. One suggestion would be to allow the user to resize the link selection window when activated so we can see the entire file path. Thanks again for a very productive and efficient tool.
Works great, straight forward
I loved it for a long time but today it stopped working properly. Sometimes says "error" and doesn't download anything or just some of them.
Total waste. I was under the impression this would do a mass download of PDF files on a particular page. What I got were html downloads. Come one.....
It has helped me a lot but I am struggling with a page of 2000 + files, anything over about 500 seems to be buggy and I have to try lots of times, quitting Chrome etc to get in going.. But to be fair my computer is 8 and half years old....
awesome. Just what i needed. Hope it keep working like this.
Simple & effective!
"can't select a target folder - keeps opening windows and have to select target dir for each one gets tedious" Show stopper for me. The whole point is that you don't have to sit there and DL them one by one. I hope this addon is improved because it is very close to actually being useful.
Good but needs a way to change the default from *.pdf to something else, and include comma delimited additional file types. Also, needs to be able to recurse into subfolders if possible.
Great. Although I do hope I can use ? as wildcard for one single character. And to change how many files can be downloaded at the same time. (It was set to 3)
Works well. Would be nice to also have "download as zip".
Perfect for my use. I didnt want anything but simple some html files (mostly text) that almost all major website downloader were not able to perform giving different reasons. It solved the problem in 30 seconds which could have taken 40 minutes for me to do it manually. I dont know how much other things it can do. But frankly, right now what it did, better than so called Google first page names I know.
Needed to download 30 FAQ's as html pages from a corporate intranet. This plugin worked perfectly for that although it was last updated in 2016. At least on chrome on a mac it didn't ask for a save-directory for every file as some of the other users report. You saved me some repetitive work, thanks!
Slow, not smart...
don't list the image thumbnails.
The third mass downloader I've tried. The first one to actually do what it's supposed to do. Lacks some real basic features (like being able to view the queue, can't set download limits, etc. It always opens 3x at a time.) 1712 files to go. We'll see how stable it is over the next few days, if it can resume, from any interruptions, etc.
It allows filtering by extension and does allow downloading multiple files at once. But the files are downloaded one after another and each time you will need to change to destination folder if the default one is not where you want the file to be. (I just download and move them later) Besides missing features as mentioned by other reviewers, it does what it say it does.
Saves so much time
I really like this extension. I needed to download 42 PDFs from a webpage and rename them all, and this downloader did that very quickly. It was a little difficult at first to figure out how to select only PDFs and rename them -- the layout isn't completely user-friendly -- and that is why I am removing one star. Once I did figure out the layout, however, it was very easy to use.
Great, does the job, a queue list for prioritizing would be appreciated
While i'm using two monitors, the main on macbook can use and change for example the search for file extension, but the second asus display seem to be having not working extension. The extension on second monito won't let me rewrite the file format, or use any of those buttons. Weird
Basically my favorite extension.
Good extension. Does the job. What I would love is the ability to choose the file name. Now, it picks the actual url name, so I had 16 "ViewDownload" files... instead of the underlying text that nicely described the document.
Love this little extension! Saved me about an hour of my time and downloaded everything in about a minute. Thanks sooo much!!! :D
Just what I needed to download multiple audio files from a single website rather than saving each link manually.
Boom. Perfection. Does what it does and does it well.
Exactly what I was after. Rather than spending hours downloading the first batch of files, waiting, then the next batch, waiting etc.. I select the ones I want from the easy interface and boom! Thank you so much to Fabian!
Very cool. Saved me hours from wasting time by clicking one by one. Appreciate the share by the author. All best wishes for you.
LO VE IT !!!
Needs to stop popping up download location for each file in batch.
Works as advertised. Would recommend. 10/10
At this moment this adds-on is topest for Google Chrome. Slow downloading speed and limitation to three files at same time are major constraints. Most powerfull downloader ever was downthemall.net for Mozilla but unfortunately it is descontinuated.
Works like a charm. Lightweight but reliable.
No longer works.
Add a feature so that you can save the pdfs with a file name of the description, e.g. downloaded 7dfb5d2a81d49835c1ebc0ddb04174f3 need to save it as description "4". . . thanks!
Crashed Chrome every time. Though I think this is even sadder for a browser than for the plugin.
Loved the app.. Does all the work it needed to do perfectly. If you want to avoid the pop up window to ask location to save file everytime, just change the download settings in the chrome and done.
Needed to download lots of images, this was easy to use and did the job perfectly without fuss or frills. Excellent as long as that's all you need to do.
This is exactly what I was looking for, supports downloading a LOT of files at once using file patterns, it is awesome!
Downloaded 650 pdfs from a single web page. Works as advertised.
Downloads all the files under the link Just like that... as needed. I couldnt find select all at once ... checkbox... but can see pattern matching which was helpfull
This is the only one that worked out of 5 different multi-download extensions.
Wasn't able to find what I wanted at all. I would be OK if it let me manually copy paste a bunch of links in but it wouldn't let me do even that.
The pattern definer doesn't work well.
Awesome batch file down-loads. As good as it gets.
Great timesaver!
Awesome tool to make life easier.
It works 100% like I expected I didn't know this was possible, but as a teacher, what a GREAT resource, thank you!!
This addon has such a low number of options and features that in many cases, it's just not worth it. There is no "Select All" button to check all items to be downloaded at once which is absurd when you have HUNDREDS of links to download. You can select multiple files by filename pattern, but you cannot automatically deselect them all or a range of them. The filename pattern feature is CASE SENSITIVE so if you enter "*.txt" and the filename is "Whatever.TXT", it will not select it. You cannot sort by filename or description. You cannot resize the Filename or Description column headers so that you can read text of longer items. You cannot select the concurrent number of downloads. It's limited to 3 at a time. For EVERY SINGLE LINK it downloads, you are prompted to choose the directory and filename you want to save as and click "Save"...for EVERY SINGLE DOWNLOAD. Then, once that begins and you realize how much you just want it to stop popping up "Save As" windows so you can uninstall the addon, you have to click "Cancel" or hold down your Escape key for HUNDREDS of times to just to get to where you can use Chrome again, because you're being spammed by "Save As" dialogues. This is absurd.
easy to use, can filter by extension, works great!
Great for downloading lots of images in full quality on a page. Love it
Worked like charm,.
Not as 'easy' as they say. You still have to select a path for every single file even though I can't imagine it would be AT ALL difficult to simply allow us to set a DEFAULT destination folder, click "download" and walk away. No, you have to sit there telling it "Yes, I still want to download to this location" for every single link until its finished.
Would be perfect if it had a "select all" option. Instead you have to individually tick each box next to the file you want to download. This is almost as tedious as doing it manually without using the extension making the extension near useless.
Great! Saved me a heap of time downloading lots of mp3 files from a language site. Thanks very much - greatly appreciated.
My husband recently went sky diving and paid the extra fee for camera / video work. They popped all the photos on a website that had a "download all" hyperlink .... that didn't work. What we were left with was 1:1 link:photos. This enabled me to download all of the .jpg files in one swoop. The one bad thing was the extension I believe double downloaded each file. This was easy enough for me to correct w/ the mac b/c Chrome puts a (1) w/ each duplicate. ~200 photos that would have killed at least 20-30 minutes took minutes. Definitely saved me time, and I really appreciate it :)
Efficient and easy to use
does nothing
Awesome work, I just downloaded 300 songs just without much effort <3 <3 <3
