I only want to use the APP portion of the extencion but you cant turn off the bookmarks. I thinks the bookmarks are a bit too overwelming and I wish you could use the pretty and clean app bar withou having you book marksexposed.

The bar doesn't sync with other devices. Please add that option. Many extensions sync settings across devices

It looks great but it slows down my browser and glitches Youtube.

This Sidebar is awesome! I liked how Microsoft Edge had a sidebar, and I was looking around to see if chrome had one too, and when I found this extension, I was so excited. I use this everyday and I love it. I wish that you could add Microsoft products and services to the sidebar, like how you can drag and drop Google and Apple services to it. Other than that, this extension is the best!

Nice design and the options page is impressive, alas it is glitchy, and needs a lot of refreshing to use, it's rendered my bookmark bar frozen, and it switches to RTL on RTL sites (should have its own visual set!)... weird! Deleted, too.

It's great, but I would appretiate aption to disable the bookmarks. On the dual monitor, sidebar too often activates without my will as I move cursor from one monitor to other one. If you disable the opening of sidebar, I will give it 5 and recommend to all my friends and family members.

unstable, as example : - it only works after page refresh - added bookmark doesnt reflect automatically, you have to set it up manually - open 2 sidebar at same time when bookmark configured manually

Wow! What an idea and also executed well. Definitely something that stands out from all the other extensions.

it seemed great at first until i realized that it doesent work an all websites if the owner could fix this that whould make this extention perfect.

so slow it is unusable. Slows down the browser like crazy, had to immediately remove it... It looked really cool but would take a few seconds to appear, and opening/closing a folder would take another few seconds, and browsing ANY web page with this extension active made it super super slow. Too bad...

It was freezing up my pages loading. Once removed, no problem. I tried a computer restart and Chrome restart before uninstalling.

Not Working, Not Recommend

Great app, but stops working out of nothing. Reinstalation wont resolve. That sad. It could be one the best extensions from chrome store.

Why does it not work on new tab?

How do you remove this from the browser? Removing the extension is not enough.

I was unable to add any bookmarks. Uninstalled Also bookmarks search works slowly and ignors folder names

I was so skeptic about this app at first but I'm loving it so far, can't wait for more updates! Awesome app to use!

I love this extension because its very user friendly and aesthetically pleasing. However, its fatal flaw is that it doesn't update any changes I make to my bookmarks. Meaning that if I want to rename or reorganize anything, or even just add new bookmarks, the only way to make it show up on the sidebar is to uninstall and reinstall it. It's very frustrating and a huge oversight in my opinion. If they end up fixing that issue down the road I'll be the first to start using it again.

It's a great concept and I used it very often. My biggest problem is adding new sites to the bookmarks list. The new sites don't show up and there's no way to refresh the addon to get the new sites to show. Unfortunately this is the reason I got rid of it.

Flawed. Useless. Doesn't sync with your bookmarks. It just pulls bookmarks the first time and never syncs to add/remove/rename your actual chrome bookmarks after that. You're just stuck with bookmarks from when you installed the app. You can force it to update, but it's a huge waste of time. It doesn't sync with chrome. Forget about imports/exports/syncing.

This is a great extension. Showing the sidebar on mouseover is really a great thing. Unlike most other reviews, I didn't encounter any bugs so far. Everything works flawless.

A great idea, shame it never works. Add bookmarks, it won't matter, sidebar will not update to reflect any changes whatsoever. Top it all off, sometimes it just won't work at all and won't come up when you click its icon, even after turning on that function. More trouble than it's worth.

Please give an option to hide bookmark sidebar and only enable the sub sidebar. Also an option to disable the screen fade effect while hovering on the sidebar when auto-hide is enabled.

When I move my curser over it my bookmarks are not even showing.

WOW. I have tried many tab manager extensions over the years - I'm glad I randomly decided to see if there were any new good ones in the chrome web store. This is really well polished, the work of a developer who's passionate about their craft.

It's not working. I does not work on Chrome start page. Sometimes it won't save settings. After changing a setting it won't behave as supposed. Some sites keep complaining about the overlay sidebar, i.e. Site keeps changing size. Uninstall.

I remove extension and it doesn't go away? Can't remove it on Pixelbook Go to boot. 0/5 stars, literally horrible that they allow this to fly in there source code I'm very upset Don't Install This App unless they reach out and offer help I'm going to report the bug on there website and will update here was great other than that!

The design is nice, but it defaults to having all bookmark folders as open. I have A L O T of bookmarks and very organized in many folders and sub folders. This makes the sidebar kind of useless for me. If there was a setting to make all folders closed by default each time you open the sidebar I may try it out further, but it also bogs down the system, as soon as I installed it my fans kicked on (Lenovo Yoga with 8th gen i7 quad core and 16GB of RAM) and they haven't let up for the 10 or so minutes I've had it installed. It's sluggish and hard to use because the sluggishness causes it to be unresponsive. I just went to check again how sluggish it is and it has stopped working. I clicked the extension icon, my fans kicked up again and then it still hasn't re-appeared. It's a nice idea, looks good, but it takes up extra resources and doesn't actually function well.

Installed it as it sounded like exactly what I needed. Upon trying to use it, it crashed my system. Rebooted, brought Chrome back up and noticed my system memory usage was absolutely pegged out. Removed the extension and that memory usage immediately dropped. Terrible memory hog apparently.

Needs to option make the area of sidebar smaller in terms of height of sidebar.

So close! it allow for collapsing my bookmark folders or add new sites to the sub-sidebar. I am not sure if it syncs configuration across multiple Chrome browsers, but it it doesn't that should also be a feature added. Fix those issues and I would even pay a few bucks for this, the look and feel is really slick.

It's not adding new bookmarks automatically or have an option to drag new bookmarks. How to get it to be perfect?

Design looks nice, doesn't seem to work on chrome new tab. When it works it looks great though and is what I wanted sadly half of the time I can't use it. Also quite slow and causes formatting bug on pages. Great Potential

Absolutely brilliant, not much else to say, love the customisation options, changed colours to match the nord colour palette to match my chrome theme and it blends perfectly, awesome awesome awesome.

The option to collapse bookmark folders needs to be added.

I like it but it needs to allow to add bookmarks/shorcuts to the main bar and open them as another sidebar like Opera.

good design but i remove it there is some issues - it doesn't add the new bookmarks to the sidebar - moving bookmarks dont working except insdie the extension - the side bar icons: you may add the feature to add the bookmarks as these icons . good luck

Dragging bookmark icons to the sidebar doesn't work in Edge Chromium. Please address this in the next update!

Amazing extension with settings for almost everything! Works really well.

Makes accessing websites and apps so intuitive. De-clutters the chrome window. Fast, smooth experience. Absolutely brilliant!

There are just a few things that have stopped me installing this permanently. But the biggest is that it seems to be only active on the lest of the screen. This means it opens nearly everytime I go for the back button, or move to my second monitor. The left edge of any screen is one of the busiest areas, and I wish there was an option to move it, but I just cant find one. Will come back at a later date.

The extension is not available in too many places and you can't use it with a tablet. It's an okay idea but gets frustrating when you want to use a bookmark and it doesn't show up. Deleted.

I always wanted more screen area that could be dedicated to content. This is exactly what I was looking for. You can hide the traditional bookmark menu in favor of this bookmark manager and you won't lose any utility offered by the traditional. Not to mention the UI is beautiful, especially when some custom CSS is applied (transparency + blur). Also can't forget the incredibly fast and detail-oriented (which is what you want) support by the author. Really enjoyed the support he gave.

This is really a beautifully designed and developed bookmark sidebar. Chrome's default bookmark manager is not user-friendly at all and this is just what I was looking for. Super clean, intuitive interface and love the customization functionality. Thanks so much for your work and making it available!

Best bookmark sidebar I've seen so far. I agree with the previous review that it would be an improvement to have less space between bookmarks. Since this is something of personal preference, it could be included in the Configuration section.

Amazing extension, exactly what chrome was missing.

Really well done extension IMO. I have tons of extensions so choosing one that I let run all the time (like a bookmark bar replacement) is not something I do lightly. After living with this for a bit I think I am ready to make this my go-to from now on. Tons of customization options, rock solid performance, and looks very slick yet polished. Cannot recommend it higher.

It seems to work great, but whenever I add or remove websites from my browser bookmarks, this app doesn't seem to refresh to match. That takes away all the functionality of this app... I want to love it because the design is so slick, but this omission is a deal breaker for me

Have been using Firefox as always liked the Sidebar bookmarks. Glad I found this one as am wanting to use Chrome more.

The top review right now says it doesn't work for his Extension based new tab page, and it appears to not work on any non-web homepage that I can tell.nnDespite this pitfall that might eventually get fixed, this is exactly how I have always wanted bookmarks. I hated having the Bookmarks Bar enabled because on a laptop vertical space is super valuable, but now they're almost as accessible while never being in the way. Favorite extension I've found in a long time.

Hopefully the restraints for using this extension on a new tab will be resolved in future versions of chrome. But aside from that this has to be my new favourite extension for chrome!

Finally - I can move away from Firefox.nI love having my bookmarks on the side of my screen (with wide-screen monitors, why take up valuable screen space with a horizontal bookmarks bar?).nWish it could be made permanently visible, but the 'appear on hover' option is the next best thing.nSuperb extension
