I really wanted to like this, but I can't recommend it. There is literally NOTHING on their site that tells you what the full license gets you. I bought it hoping that it would give me more control over what is deleted, but that is not the case. I cannot recommend this unless you want to remove absolutely everything. If that's the case, then sure it's fine I guess, but I wouldn't give them money for it as they are apparently being shady about what the full version gets you. Which is something that NO ONE IN THE INDUSTRY DOES.

DO NOT BUY. THIS IS A SCAM. I played with this app forever. Contacted the help email. Followed their suggestions. If I use my computer, it stops working. If I leave it overnight it stops working. It makes me sit here not touching my laptop for an hour PER YEAR, and I have to choose each year by hand. If I wanted to spend over 15 hours doing this year by year I'd have deleted them by hand. More importantly, I bought a non-working app that gave them access to everything I've posted on FB since 2008. Which is where I'm sure they're making their real money.

This has been great, it worked perfectly on Twitter and when I had an issue removing posts from a branded page the developers communicated right away and resolved the issue so that it would run smoothly. Couldn't have been better support!

Absolute garbage extension. Does not delete messengers

Starts to delete, then warning comes up something went wrong. When i have ot start again it starts deleting from the beginning again. Why did I pay for this?

For the free version, you only get 20 deletions a day specifically on the Activity Log (not Posts/Pictures/etc.). Nothing specifies what is included in the Free or Paid versions until you reach the 20 deletion limit.

Great extension! It deleted all of my high school and half of my college years.

Literally tried EVERYTHING now, to get this extension to activate after paying money for full version :-( I would like a refund please. Used it last year no hassles. Now I've paid for renewal and it WILL NOT ACTIVATE!!!! Switched off 2-factor, switched off AV and Firewall VPN etc etc Cleared cache cookies etc etc...... logged out of chrome and in again removed and reinstalled extension..... Done this on 2 PC's WHAT DOES IT TAKE PEOPLE???????????????

Since facebook redid its look, and changed the URL's. this program does not work. It may of worked at one time. But now it does not work.

I'm really pleased with the extension. It's taken me a long way toward my goal of obliterating my Facebook history, though it seems Facebook (turds that they are) has throttled my ability to delete posts so I'm giving it a day or so and then I'll resume the process. I had some trouble getting the license to load for reasons we were never able to pin down. Nick at Sys Arch was very patient with my repeated requests for assistance over the course of 3 or 4 days...while traveling, no less. It finally started to work properly, so I wanted to say thanks for the great support. It's much appreciated!

Doesn't do anything. No instructions provided. You have to try to figure it out on your own, and it tells you stupid things like "go to the management page to delete". Where is the "management" page?

What a fantastic extension! Facebook is one of those necessary evils and yes it can track you! Do yourself a favour and use this extension to delete your tracks! It works brilliantly! Hats off to the developer. It is slow but you know its working when its slow because its thorough! Pay the $5US and remove your tracks from big brother! unpaid version give you 10 removals. $5US is unlimited. Seriously Highly recommend. I just deleted years of post comments and history from Facebook. As much as I use facebook for friends and family. It's nice to know that I have control of who sees my history. Now it doesn't exists thanks to this extension.

All good but how I can skip the "comments" in a particular friend? I write he first name in the section "Text Does Not Contains" but it continues delete everything. I would like to know how to do it for multiple people as well. What is the format?

A solid, must have extension if you have social media account that rhymes with MaceRook.. Singlehandedly, it has deleted hundreds, if not thousands of useless posts, pictures, likes and tags.

Last used this extension on 22 June 2021, and it works extremely well. Facebook makes it difficult for you to delete your content on its platform, restricting you to manual selections and a lot of mouse-clicks to delete potentially tens of thousands of entries. This extension automates that process for you. I found myself starting the extension, leaving the browser window on in the background, while I work in another browser or app, and deleting my internet caches often. I had to run the extension a few times to completely purge a particular month or year. Overall, this still took time, and some manual oversight, but it has reduced by a factor of 10x the mind numbing tedium and time wasted if I had to select and click every post and interaction I wanted to delete. The full version is well worth the $4.99 asked for, and the developer is responsive to questions. Many thanks for keeping the extension current throughout the years!

Facebook only provides a web GUI for actually removing your past activity without completely deleting your account. Your choices are to delete items on your mobile device 30 at a time, for which there are tens of thousands of activity entries, or use a solution like this over a span of days. This solution works. It works great. The developer is kind and responsive, and has kept it functional. It's chewing on 2017 right now, and it hasn't errored in a long time. You have to be forgiving for any extension that solves a problem by fiddling with the browser. A lot is out of the control of the extension, and this developer's effort to keep it working when things change should be recognized.

I tried every chrome extension out there and this one hits the spot! $4.99 is worth not having to manually delete every spam message I've gotten in the past 7 years.

It's working on 10\10 and so cheap for the full version . And the support is really helpful even if you are 50 years old and don't know how to setup the extensions .

Works in 2021 very well.. I wasted hours searching for a solution. Fair warning: To get the full version, you need to pay $5 ...worth it for all the time-savings from doing this manually

Works great removed 10 years of facebook posts and comments - worked on both Brave and Chrome browsers. I also loved the great support when I needed it due to a problem on my PC.

It works 95% effectively! Strangely there appears to be certain months in 2019 and 2020 where it just can't erase posts/comments and you get a repeated "error." For most other dates, you can run it at full speed and it cleans everything. Just be careful to filter your activity log for what you want erased because the app will erase everything showing in the activity log... the app doesn't do the filtering.

This app is a gem. I very much recommend it.

It can only delete up to 10 items and it chokes on anything that can't simply be deleted or moved to trash. I'd still buy the pro version but it isn't actually for sale. So, since this will only delete up to 10 items it isn't worth the trouble to use it. I wish there was an app or an extension that actually did delete facebook posts. STOP! On starting the extension there appeared a message that implied there was an approval needed from Google before people could buy it so I didn't buy it. But later I clicked the link and Lo and Behold I was able to buy it. I am changing the rating I gave it from one to five stars. It works great. Fabulous! Thank you.

I had some trouble after purchasing the licence, and wrote a mail for help : less than two hours later, everything was running correctly, thanks a lot for your availability. The extension itself works perfectly, this is a wall-cleaning masterpiece !

Just purchased the full version and very pleased with the extension. it's working exactly as expected without any issues. Was able to delete 100s of old videos and posted.

New version works much better, the best thing out there to delete your fb data. Sometimes it's not working perfect but the developer is always updating and trying to make it work as best they can. It's worth the money for sure. :-)

It seems to delete my posts in the Activity Logs however, when refreshed or opened, the post s are still there.

Worked as intended. Might benefit from specifying what it can/cannot delete from the activity log, but other than that good work!

The paid version is working great. It's nice to watch it work as it simulates UI interactions wit fb. Amazing how much time I wasted in fb.

Problem #2 makes this program unusable. If there is an error on Facebooks end with deleting a post then this program gets stuck in a loop, which is all the time. Problem 2. Facebook errors/cannot delete the post via the extension or manually. You may encounter certain activity that Facebook will not delete. If you cannot manually delete the activity, then the extension will not be able to delete it either. There is no resolution this issue. It is an error on Facebook that is beyond the control of the extension.

Working 1/19/2021 Everyone downvoting this extension doesnt know how to use it. This actually works great. 1. Install the plugin 2. Pay for the full version 3. Pull up your activity log 4. Adjust the filters to show the things you want to delete (2010, Comments, for example) 5. Click Save Changes 6. Run the plugin Be patient, you can watch it as it goes. As you can see in comments, the dev Sys Arch is very responsive in replies and is offering refunds to people who are unhappy or not tech savvy.

Very quickly it encounters a "query error" - even at 10x - and will not proceed further through the activity log. This program is worthless. Will you either tell me how to fix this or give me my money back?

The Extension actually works, however you have to switch your Facebook to English (in case it's not) and may have to disable ad blockers. On Brave it didn't work for me, but on Chrome.

Waste of $5, did not work

Facebook has it gummed up. Can't delete more than ten entries. Tried all workarounds, turning off all other extensions and all ad & cookie blocking, etc., on Chrome and two browsers. Even tried a few Registry tweaks, etc. It is impossible to ge the app to switch from what must be a ten item demo status to the full product. It will work one item at a time.

Absolute Waste of Your Time and Money Don't Buy!! Does not work, purchased the product, ran it according to specs, started to delete posts then comes up with an error. Restart again but goes back to the beginning. Does not delete anything. Save your money go somewhere else. Absolute waste of time!!!

Worked well before the FB update. Now nothing.

Not sure what all the bad reviews are about but this worked PERFECT on facebook. Took about 25-30 minutes to delete 13 years of posts. If it doesn't work for you, leave it on the NORMAL setting.

I just downloaded this and paid 5$. It is only giving me the option to delete EVERYTHING. I would like to keep photos. There are no options at all. What am I doing wrong?

I don't know what is possessing you to argue with your users, but this in fact does NOT work on the new Facebook layout. It just cycles through all the entries and pulls out the popup menu but never actually clicks on remove post or anything like that. I don't know if Facebook changed their code or what, but don't you think you should look into this if so many users are reporting the same behavior? I can't speak for others but I'm literally using a vanilla installation of Chrome just for this extension since it doesn't work in Brave.

This is an awesome extension. it does exactly what it says. You use the New FB Activity log filters to get to the stuff you want to delete and it deletes everything that shows up under that filter. I gave it 4 stars, because It jus isn't quite specific enough. The FB filters will get me to Group posts, comments & likes, but that's for every group I've ever posted in. It would get 5 stars if I could tell it to only delete posts from specific groups. Or even preserve posts from certain groups. but really... if you need to delete a bunch of posts, it will most definitely do it with ease.

Complete garbage. When in Activity Log it seems to work, but then you go the the post and it is there. Waste of money

I trusted when it said it was removing the posts that they were actually gone. A check of several of the groups the posts should have been deleted from and they are still there. =( I can't see them in the Activity Log any more, but they still exist in the group.

This took me FOREVER to figure out...tried on 2 different computers. After reading more reviews, I saw that someone said you need to SWITCH TO CLASSIC FACEBOOK(not the new version). Absolutely necessary otherwise nothing worked it just kept scanning. Really annoying that when you want to delete photos, it doesn't give you the same filter option for years/months. It just starts deleting from the beginning so I had to stop that and try something else. I didn't buy this to delete activity because that would take days so a filter for the photos would be better. I will keep trying to specifically just do albums. Anyway, it gets the job done if you don't want to go through deleting every mobile upload that facebook refuses to let you control.

It worked fine in trial version. So, I purchased paid version. Now paid version is deleting a few activities then get stuck. Tried various settings without any use.

Doesn't work

This was an amazing device that completely deleted my entire facebook posts. I paid for the full version to get the benefits. If you pay for it and it does not register that you did just completely close crome and reopen it and when it asks you for access to your email you have to allow access. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is that it was quite slow and buggy. That being said it did the job I needed in the long run! Thank you to the app designers I feel like my privacy has been restored!

Seems to work really well but there was a wierd glitch that unfriended and blocked about 2 dozen people, mostly close friends and even my youngest son. So, that created a bit of awkwardness. Now I am afraid to use again.

Totally worth the $4.99 cost. I had the other FB cleaner extension and it just no longer worked. I'm so glad this one exists as an alternative. You just get to a point in your life when you want to clean up your digital footprint ("Do I really need that post / comment anymore?") and it's just easier to let the extension delete all of your old comments for you as opposed to the tedium of clicking "delete'' on every single one... it's definitely worth $4.99 just for convenience! I totally recommend it and I hope that it stays working /updated as FB changes!

I bought the full version. It worked fine initially, deleting about 20% of my more recent activity. After that, no matter how many various ways I tried to run the script (different intervals, manually refreshing, selecting different time periods, etc), it continually stalled or crashed my browser. I tried coming back hours and even days later, but had the same issues. It really struggled to get through the items it needed to "hide" in order to get to what it needed to delete. Because of the constant resetting and covering the same ground over and over, it ended up being faster for me to just use facebook's new "manage posts" feature to delete and hide. This app was able to delete all private messages without trouble, though.

I downloaded this extension to clean up all history of activity from my account. I wanted to do this instead of closing the account to make it as if it is non-existent to the public, but still use it to keep in contact with a few who don't use the new networks I have. To be forward, the ratings are not a fair reflection of this extension's capacity to do it's job. Many rate it low only based on that it isn't free. From my experience, the creator of this rightfully deserves to have some return for the effort of programing a superior extension compared to Social Book Post Manager. I purchased this after days of using Social Book Post Manager, which kept skipping and eventually stopped working regardless of lowering the rate, trying three different computers and other troubleshooting as mentioned in the instructions. This extension also deletes your comment history, unlike Social Book Post Manager. It was worth price in exchange of what would be months of deleting, or I would have to spending a day or more collecting a list of all the pages I liked over the years just to be transferred towards making a new account. All the while losing my private messages with friends too. Both hardships a few bucks is worth avoiding.

Paid for the full version. This extension actually does nothing, doesn't really deletes posts or provides the service for what I paid. The browser just freezes and I had to reboot the computer several times. Even left the extension running for 3 hours just to find out it did ... nothing (but freezing the browser). I recommend against this extension. Go browse the web for a different one that exists, which is actually free, and does what it should.

The fact that this extension still works with the new Facebook interface is amazing. The older and free-er program I used worked well last year to clean up my Facebook, but this will be my new go to.
