this extension was last updated in 2016 but this still works as of feb 2023! make sure you read the instructions on how to activate and use this extension (left-click the extension icon in your browser). reload a shelf (e.g., "to-read") and then click Settings -> sort by Position -> Ascending order and then save it! then re-order a shelf and when you're done, just refresh your browser et voila! thanks for this wonderful addon!
Great idea, but seems to have stopped working Does not seem to work anymore, latest version of Chrome June 2022
