Yes, the EQ works. But it's only useful on pure audio sites. Sadly on Netflix, Waipu etc the sound becomes to laggy and I can't enjoy these when video and sound are not in sync anymore.

if a comp has audio should have built in EQ (windows fail) . Is to bad can't be used system wide (this is offered for browser only)

Brilliant extension! It's really helped me to pick up the frequencies that I have lost from my hearing. I've tried several before and they were 'okay' but Equalizer just works. Very easy to adjust the particular frequencies that you require or need to reduce for hearing problems etc. As an extension it's not intrusive but just sits on a tab in the background. 10/10 :-)

This is great, my Pandora sounds so much better! I have good headphones, too, so I need this.

A little goes a long way. You can't really dime the frequency settings and expect anything pleasing. But it's a great improvement over flat sound.

What would be cool is the ability to reset individual bands gain to 0 by double click on the handle or on the frequencies readout at the bottom, or with any other shortcut, and also have band gain readout at least as it changes. Thanks for a great extension.

The Equalizer works but the other stuff like the Reverb and the Chorus don't work. They're not making a sound when I turn them on, as in the audio on the tab is completely mute when I turn them on. How do I fix this?

I must admit, I tried it and I did not hear any change to the sound. I am using Maxthon Browser so that MAY have something to do with it. I also have FX Sound Enhancer installed and I am wondering if that may be overriding this apps settings. Regardless, it does nothing for the sound on my specific system, which is a pity because it looks like it has great potential.

For those who doesnt know how to use this extension. Please stop giving trash review, instead seek for helps or find it out how does it works! D**b A** 1. After installing this Extensions. The extension arent gonna just pop up it self like magic. 2. Click on the puzzle thing on ur current browser. Pin it on so you dont lose finding it! 3. Select the Extension and Click on "Capture on current Tab" 4. Go to the 2nd page of the extension which is "Equalizer" 5. Modify your equalizer. To Check the https://youtu.be/ucZl6vQ_8Uo "Video Audio Syn Test". Make sure you are not using bluetooth speaker/headset. They have a delay, depends on the quality of ur devices. 6. Enjoy!

What is the point of an "Equalizer" that has NO clear ability to adjust any frequencies. Also ,the opening of a new Tab with Ads only to say that "we soon will nave this extra Tab" is unprofessional

almost had a heart attack i accidentally put the first one all the way up and my subwoofers went crazy and my and my speakers were on my spring mattress bed and my whole room was shaking and my cup fell :( but very good application if used properly

i use loudness most times, and rock once in a while. but its perfect for my hearing disability.brings the low voice so i can hear it better then chromes setings.

It improves spoken words and also music.

This is the best extension equalizer so far I've tried for Chrome browser; just a side note for Dev's allow the extension to be use in several tabs at the same time without killing the first one.

I put 5 stars so this comment would be in amongst the top ones... DO NOT LOAD!!!! I have an issue now in which every new tab I make needs a new equalizer to hear any video's/podcasts... Also if I close the extension I have zero volume on my chrome browser and need to close all EQ tabs opened as well as close the browser and restart, then "Capture this page" with a new EQ tab in order to hear anything. GARBAGE EXTENSION.

I have tried many equalizers for chrome this is by far the most functional, stable, and optioned extension. I remember the old days of physical stereo equalizers. Those were fun days! For the kind of sound you get from the web this app is great. The gain on each frequency is amazing. I have a had a number of very high sound systems, so I have a very well tuned ear. Great product!

Works well but sounds a tad distorted. Still, it makes the laptop speakers sound better!

Distorts sound. I switched it on and noticed music sounds different (and not for better). I played around and tuned the volume so it doesn't change when I switch it on/off. I flipped it for a good minute and confirmed that sound changes when it's switched on. EQs aren't meant to change sound at default settings.

Been using it for a couple minutes and I absolutely love it already, I always use this app on my phone that has an equalizer within the app, and I always ramp up the low ends a bit, and it then it always sounded like the bass was lacking in youtube and now I have that too, lovely<3

It works fantastic. I wish there was a way it would remember the tabs you use it on. So you didn't have to relaunch it every time you re-open Pandora or Youtube. When enabled it does work great though.

Absolutely GREAT! Minimal latency, wide range of bands and more than enough amplitude on each band to really fine tune the sound! YouTube absolutely SUCKS in terms of audio quality, and this extension makes it SO MUCH BETTER! Love it!

I needed to watch a video on YouTube but the creator had the high end so high that every S noise was like a sharp knife to the brain. I got the equalizer for chrome extension and brought the high end way down and the mids a bit higher and it wasn't just better, it sounded phenomenal lol THANK YOU!

YouTube Music desperately needs this to be built in. I hope they get around whatever roadblock Google had added to make a tab need to be open for this to work but it's still worth having music sound good.

Amazing extension! Works perfectly on Twitch to reduce bass level since my subwoofer doesn't let me adjust it.

My only issue is that you have to left click the extension every time you change tabs. To be fair though every eq extension I have ever used works the same way.

I am really weird. I keep buying wireless ear buds (headphones by another name, I guess) just to hear a difference in various inputs. I never buy cheap ones and take wide curves around stuff like dr dre and those cheap junkets with 19 speakers in each. This is the ONLY app that can keep up with all my headphones. Enhancements sparkle, Dimensions dance. My hearing is often carried to another dimension: one of sound and not sight. Do it 2. You won't regret it, and if you don't have extra cash laying around, you really can hook up a $5 earplug and be wowed! Love them! 10 stars

Just what I need. Thank you. I use this EQ daily to cut off low freq when I listen to voice for the majority of my work day. But! There's one bug that is 100% consistent. If I click the extension icon and my browser window is in the upper right corner, the window then pops out of the corner and takes up almost the entire screen, then I need to manually put it back where I want it to be, which is upper right corner. Can you please fix this?

When you're maximizing YouTube videos, the image generates annoying visual glitches

The EQ is an amazing tool! It has changed listening quality for the better! Some tweaks it needs are 1. Actually save settings. This is inconsistent and my preferred setting are always getting reset. In fact, Save doesn't really have any meaning. 2. If you're going to allow me to delete a preset, why not allow me to add one? 3. I haven't really looked at the other settings, but Pitch doesn't seem to work either.

latest Vivaldi update (5.3.2679.38) half-broke the extension, i have to set equalizer up every time i open a new YT video, also the control panel is garbled sometimes, i have to press on/off button to get it back to normal. i love it otherwise, please fix.

Used this to equalise the sound from Netflix and it's amazing. I think a lot of the neg reviews are from people who don't know how to use it correctly. It takes multiple adjustments to get just right but with my minimal knowledge of sound mixing etc I figured it out in less than 3 mins. It fixed that awful thing Netflix does where the music and background noises (cars, action scenes etc) are all stupidly loud but the voices are quiet if you turn down the vol. Love it and makes watching so much better. The only negative is the auto play next episode feature is glitching and just skips every episode until the last one of the series but that's fine, just disabled that feature and Netflix auto plays next ep's anyway.

It doesn't save any changes. I've unchecked the box to load the preset on startup. But any time I come back to Pandora it's on the preset Acoustic. I don't see a Custom option in the drop-down menu.

I need help with it but by far this is the best extension I have used for my music and it has helped me enjoy music better. My problem: I keep hearing a sort of chopping sound when I turn it on. Kindly help me understand why and how can i fix this from my end if the problem is on my end since this is a problem which started lately.

The application, it need some updates, it freeze and the app shut off on its own, the company needs to be revamped the app and update it, have issues, put it works.

There is a web site that has streaming digital radio audio that has very muffled sound. It was unpleasant to listen to until I installed this extension. By selecting the Bass Reducer present for the equalizer increased the sound quality of those streams. The result is a far more natural and clear sound. The extension is installed as an icon in the upper right side of the title bar and can be easily turned on or off for any website. You can customize the equalizer and save your settings.

Just what I needed! I've got a number of videos among my YT favourites that were recorded with a very muffled sound. Increasing the treble and reducing the bass has massively increased the sound quality of those files, and words that I found difficult or impossible to understand can now be heard clearly. in the most extreme cases I'll push the slider at the far right all the way to the top, and the one on the left all the way to the bottom. Then I adjust the other sliders so they form a straight line between the two. The result is a far more natural and clear sound. I am so happy with this extension that i can easily rate it as one of the best ever!

This extension does nothing except offer start/stop/pause and FF Rewind. Nowhere do I see an option to load an equalizer. Uninstalling.

Did exactly ZERO for audio, either through headphones or speakers connected to my PC. Literally, had absolutely no effect on sound.

First review i have ever done on an app and do very few on other things. This app is superb i cant quite understand the negative ratings maybe they do not under stand how an equalizer works or are not capturing the specific tab.. many thanks for this app keep up the good work the presets are better than most has well.

It is EXTREMELY laggy, the sliders barely change anything, and just make the music (and everything else) unlistenable... I would describe the sound, as when you have a bad connector, and it barely makes contact with the speaker. I won't recommend it, do not download it.

Finally an extension that really worked, There's the extension that you have to enable at the top right each time you want it to be enabled, there's also a 3 dots below the youtube video which you have to expand the window to a certain limit to be able to view the equalizer. Both settings can be applied or just with one of them.

Can't get it to work.... doesn't open up anything to use. Only allows me to jump to a video i have aready opened, do captions if I want but nothing else.

I will give it a 5 anyway because it does boost the volume quite well on my HP Chromebook 11 G4. But on the downside, you need to open it quite often as you go from website to website or YouTube video to video, ie, you must reset the volume slider upward. My Chromebook is 5 years old and today went to watch a video on Twitter and heard a funny noise then nothing. This extension didn't fix it. I now think the internal speakers on the Chromebook just died but I wonder if that could possibly be due to boosting the volume considerably with extensions (used another one before this until it was removed for violating webstore TOS). At any rat e headphones are working and with them volume is adequate but am saving this extension for adjusting the equalizer as needed for different sites/videos.
