The simple task I had was to download a bunch of zip files from a page. However these are not detected or filterable. The only way to do this was to manually work through a huge list of all the page links and individually select each one. So actually slower than right-clicking. Absolute waste of time, for such a simple use case.

Thanks so much, so helpful for mass saving files from a website that i had to individually click open > download... pasted website table into excel, converted buttons to url links then past in to this extension and boom! done and downloading!

Simplicity makes it daily driver at reach of your fingertips and with no extra steps to take, especially no unnecessary steps. However, you can feel amount of thought that went into details that make it extraordinary. It doesn't have bells and whistles that all other download managers do, but it makes you think if having those in are worth the struggle and complexity of the whole deal compared to this one.

Works really well and reliably downloaded 10,000s of files for me. Could benefit from a more hardened retry-method or better reporting around failed files (i.e. remove all successful downloads from list so I am left with the failed ones). Overall great tool though.

can you remove the suspicious filename / resolve danger on exe file downloads... this is a serious hamper of what are supposed to be power users.

This is the most poorly designed thing possible. It's not simple it's junk

Exactly what I needed to download multiple pptx files from an online index directory in bulk. No configuration for my use case was necessary. Just needed a few clicks to enter the filetype, select the files and download

Perfect except for one thing, doesn't offer downloading at once in a zip/rar format one time I downloaded hundreds of images separately and it caused trouble in my windows explorer somehow

Great for using when downloading your humblebundle purchases that contain tens and hundreds of items (books etc.) . Using the humblebundle bulk download option always missed some of the downloads (did not put them in the download queue). I solved this by using this great extension. Thanky you, developer! PS: also useful for websites such as flickr that give you tons of links when you request data takeout.

Did what I need it to do!

It didn't work for me. It was great at finding files to download on a page but every time I started the queue it would completely crash Chrome.

Very useful. However unless you have a realtime malware checker like malwarebytes, some downloads come with trojans and phishing scripts which will be downloaded without your knowledge. This has happened on a few occasions and all downloads cease once a rogue site is found. How do i continue the process of downloading the remaining sites?

Ended up with this Adware/Malware (https://blog.malwarebytes.com/detections/adware-downloadassistant/) on my computer after installing this It inserted ads into my Google search results. I can't be 100% certain it was this extension but it seems very likely.

What a beast, I paste 1000 urls and poof, in a minute I have it in my folder.

Took a bit of figuring out how to use it at first, but luckily it has a pretty solid design and achieved exactly what I needed it to. Very well done compared to all of the alternatives I looked at.

This extension works so well and saves me so much time downloading my work packets from a site the webmaster refuses to update the functionality of. This extension has filled that gap very well. It's as simple or as complicated as you want it to be, there is enough customization there if required and you understand what you are doing, but if not, it is a case of simply clicking.

Very Useful for multiple downloads

Too difficult to configure for a simple use case - export urls from clipboard and download automatically to a given folder. Spent 15+ mins to understand how to define download folder, then after added to immediate download queue but nothing downloaded, only purple arrows...too complex

Very good extension. It has lots of options so it works for pretty much any needs you might have when donwloading stuff.

Awesome! this extension must be programed thoroughly and the best work is delivered. as my policy, i always want to pay someone that make good tool and share it free, their work should be respected and get reward.the amount of money is not serious compared to show feeling to the guys.

works very well, the only problem is it starts slowing down a lot if i try to download 67 thousand files at once, but i'd imagine most people won't be doing that

This extension is phenomenal. I had to download 100s of PDFs and CSVs from a Financial Exchange for analysis. Manually it was taking me hours. With the extension I've retrieved more than 2000 items in less than an hour. Fantastic. Thanks very much

Does almost everything it needs to, grabs the images and downloads them fast. The only feature I want is the ability to set "images larger than" with the image sliders; because 99.9% of the time I want to get all images LARGER than a certain size, not smaller!

It works perfectly for my use case. I've been able to create a filter to download files from a webapp I access daily, instead of doing it manually. It has a lot of features I'm still not familiar with. Thanks a lot for this useful extension.

Would be great if you could save files into separate directories based on the parent link. For example, downloading an article archive by volume. Each volume is a link to a dozen or so articles. It would be great if the page on which the link was found could be included in the naming rules. Great extension!

Указываю для выделенных файлов папку (вставляю полный путь), а он воспринимается дополнением как вложенную в \Downloads. очень неудобно тогда, когда ты без последующего перекладывания можешь сразу поместить файлы в нужную директорию. Разработчик утверждает, что от него не зависящие ограничения не позволяют ему скачивать куда-то, кроме \Downloads. Жаль. Как и то. что всплывающее окно нельзя растянуть, или отобразить в отдельной вкладке. Нет настройки автоматического удаления из списка закачек успешно скаченных.

Awesome. It did exactly what I wanted! It did take a little bit to figure out how to use it, but it still saved me time overall. I loved that it wasn't just a matter of saving the open Chrome tabs to PDF but could actually detect the link on each page that I wanted to be saved to PDF (filtered by extension and text). The interface could be a bit better, and/or the instructions could clarify how to select multiple tabs, but those are minor, given how well it works at getting the job done!

Same issue as other download managers! After searching for a bulk video downloader, I came across this one and many others. Despite small number of reviews it had good rates so I thought I was making a good choice. Shortly after, I installed it, and attempted to download over a hundred videos for a project I was working on. And to my surprise it (looked like it) did exactly that. All 115 videos in a matter of seconds. Seamless. At first, I was ecstatic, but upon closer look, when I actually opened the videos for playback on my hardrive, they were extremely poor quality. Originally beautiful, full HD videos reduced to around 240p. I tried clip after clip to make sure it wasn't a mistake, and went into the extension settings to see if there was a way to adjust download resolution and found nothing. If this is the way it is supposed to be I will be deleting this just as quickly as I installed it.

USED to work, not sure what's changed but now I get a much smaller pop up window with some choices and all it wants to "grab" is the HTML for each file. Might as well remove it at this point. Too bad :(

It's a little hard to understand the more complex functions, but it worked for me when I was in a jam and quickly needed to grab PDF files while making sure I didn't miss any. Thank you!

how to change download folder?

I've also tried "Batch Link Downloader", and I prefer the "Simple mass downloader" one because it has the following features: - you can reload the list of links, so you can open the Ctrl. Shift C -> select elements you don't want -> delete, in order to remove sections with URLs you don't want - image list - urls from all tabs - filter urls per name - directory to save the files - removes duplicates

Loads all the images i want on the website but i am having trouble downloading them it keeps saying it is downloading the images even after they have completed and it keeps saving them as tmp files instead of jpg. Also will not let me clear download list the option does not work for me on chrome

Did not work at all! It won't grab any of the downloads off the page, just the links to the page the download is on. What a scam! This is the 3rd mass downloader I've tried to use and they all do the same thing. None of them grab the downloads, just the links to the pages they are on. Don't waste your time with these, it's a scam.

{counter} and {cccc} rename does not work

Great tool! Only thing missing, IMO, is file recursion. For example, if I want to download all the pdfs under a URI path 1, 2 or more levels deep in the folder hierarchy. Right now, I have to browse to every folder. Still a huge time saver though, thank you!

This is one of the most well crafted apps/extensions in general I've ever seen in my life. It's so simple, yet so versatile and flexible, because sometimes i just think "ohh this feature would be very useful" and here.. it's just everything you need. This extension saved my life. It's very buggy. The "popup" window doesn't appear (I don't have any popup blocker installed but I do have uorigin adblocker). When it gives you the links identified it doesn't give what's really needed.

This is an excellent extension, probably the best i have ever used. A few features would be helpful 1. search templates / keeping the last filters by default most wordpress site uses /wp-content/... to store their post images , and thumbnails has a thumb prefix (which has to be negated), this has to be typed again and again 2.similarly some default dimension filter for image would be nice 3. a regex transformer for would be helpful for downloading the original file from imagehost, right now export as .txt and openup sublimetext/vscode and transform them bug: sometime the downloaded files no longer go to the directory as told, template for directory would be nice too . these are just nitpicks, i am a heavy user of this extension, but i am sure for regular joes this is a very good extension to be honest.

Well, I'll give it two stars instead of 1, because for a long time it worked perfectly, even though it's very confusing and complicated. But today it stopped downloading. It sends the downloads to a "queue" but I can't figure out how to get them to actually download. I didn't change anything, it just started doing it by itself. If it's not going to download anything, it's useless, and when something goes wrong, it's much too complicated to figure out what has happened or how to fix it. Guess I'll be looking for another mass downloader now.

Intuitive and powerful solution to download multiple html files.

I miss the good old FlashGet era batch downloading and came across this extension. Much similar to FlashGet but also can handle cookie and other header information that would cannot be used with FlashGet. This can do that and similar to FlashGet can handle URL Patterns. Nice job guys!

Fantastic extension. Needed to download 150 or so videos from Vimeo that were emailed to me as links in a spreadsheet. I just copied and pasted the links, changed a couple of settings (sequential mode, number of servers, downloads...didn't want to set off any Vimeo server alarms). ALL of my videos downloaded perfectly with correct names and location. Thank you for making my life much, much easier.

I am trying to set a name mask for my downloaded files to name them in sequential order (i.e. 001.pdf, 002.pdf, etc). However when I use the mask "{ccc}.{ext}" it outputs 001.pdf for every downloaded file. How do I increase the increment for each download?

Works perfect (although crashed once, it was because I added 247 urls at once). I love how it support download from urls. The detection and filter by description is also awesome.

Great extension but I'm still a little bit clueless on how to use the naming mask as I'm new to using this extension I want to download a few hundred files in sequence, from 001 to 400 but {ccc}.{ext} doesn't seem to work.

unfortunately did not work as expected. I wanted to download text files (.cpp and .h) and rather than respect the original extensions, this download set them all to '.txt', forcing me to use a second program to rename them.
