It's much faster than the previous extension that I installed. My previously installed extension kept on playing video from the beginning instead of continuing where the video was left.

Not only does it work seamlessly on YouTube, YouTube Music, and videos embedded in other websites, but it also gives us the option to enable or disable the extension for all tabs or specific tabs. Not working to me. Chrome on windows 7. It just do nothing.

It works great, overall. However, sadly, it does not work with Picture-in-picture mode on the Vivaldi (chromium) browser; it just refuses to enter this mode. The option to show a static thumbnail is a nice option, and I was hoping I could enter PIP mode with this mini player showing this static image, since I like seeing the cover of the album of playlists on my other reference screen while doing digital art, but it just doesn't work. it seems I will just have to turn the quality down to use PIP and not use this extension. :(

I really like the extension that you've made! Only one thing should be fixed: if the extension is enabled only for the current tab and I restart the browser, the extension is not enabled anymore for the same tab and I have to enable it again. Besides this, it is perfect from my point of view ;-)

Amazing extension, it completely disables video so that you computer will only load sound and has little impact on CPU

Love it! Functional very well with YT Music. I wish you can make the thumbnail of the videos replace the video, instead of just black background.

I've been using this extension for a few weeks now, and I like it, but it's unfortunate that it's a bit of a pain to access from the YouTube Music app since you can't pin extensions in that. My main complaint is that it doesn't reliably prevent the automatic hourly (?) pausing that YouTube does to make sure you're still listening. As a feature request, I would love to see a context menu option to allow the video on a song-by-song basis, or even a context option to enable / disable video as we wish. This would make it much more accessible than having to navigate the menus to turn off all the features on the page. One other observation is that the song art still displays in the Toast notification on Windows 10 when you use a keyboard command (I have one with media controls) to pause the music. All together a solid extension though. ?

Awesome - the only extension to date I've found that works on mobile. Love it.

Great extension, the developer seems to be very active and responsive! One gripe I do have is that it wasn't clear enough there was a shortcut to enable/disable the extension for a tab (not a lot of people read the update logs, especially if they just downloaded the extension!). Also, I saw a suggestion where the extension should display the thumbnail instead of the logo/black screen and I do agree: it would make the extension even better! Anyway, 5/5, best extension of its kind, and as someone said "It just works".

Okay it works but it does not lower the CPU usage and that is the ultimate goal to use the extension. Sorry I'm going to uninstall it since it does no difference whatsoever.

The only extension that works well for YouTube and YouTube music while providing many configuration options to suit everyone's needs. I mainly use this for YouTube music only. Just install it, change some options according to your preference and you're good to go. 10/10

Works as intended, better than most extensions in the web store since it provides a lot of options to save on bandwidth. However, it seems like it has compatibility issues with the playback speed feature. I usually listen to podcast episodes on a playlist at 1.5x speed. Without the extension, once I've set the playback speed on the first video, it will carry over to the next one that plays. With the extension, while it displays the playback speed I have set, it reverts back to normal speed on the next video, and I have to tweak it again. Would definitely give full 5-stars if this could be resolved. Thanks!

Superb! I wanted YouTube Music to play "music" not videos, and also the option to only play audio on some videos temporarily, and this extension has implemented exactly all the features that I needed!

Versatile and effective- allows you to set options for one tab, the entire browser, and individual videos. YouTube has recently made a feature where if you hover over a thumbnail on the homefeed, it starts to play, but if you're hiding the thumbnail it refreshes the entire page. I blame this more on YouTube than the extension, though, and hiding thumbnails is obviously not its main feature.

the extension is good, but I have had a conflict with another extension: YouTube dual subtitles, when activated it does not play the video, I have only been able to solve it by uninstalling this last extension, is there any way to have both?

It is good, but my Youtube Video (normal) become slower, need extra time for buffering.than usual. An advice, please make it activate exclusive only for choosen tab or website, not automatically active every I open new tab.

This extension is very nice for saving data! My only issue is that when I run a playlist it occasionally does not play at all (not even video) and needs to be refreshed for the extension to function properly. If this issue is fixed it'd be very easily a 5/5 effort!

It works but I really wish there was a way to only use this on youtube music or if the "only use this plugin on this page" thing worked permanently for said page so I didnt have to recheck it every time

Does not work. Enabled or disabled, the video on Youtube Music keeps displaying.

BEST 1. I tried numerous similar apps, nope. This is the only one that deserves your installation, usage and donations.

Overview is ambiguous i.e. at the bottom it mentions live streaming and under that conditions to block video but it's unclear whether this relates to live streaming only or all videos. Options appear on a list on my computer but with no option available to select or de-select; maybe it's an issue with having an intelligent colour scheme i.e. black background.

Works Great as Intended, only thing it messes it with is SponsorBlock, Segment doesn't get skipped when Music Mode is on! Hope this gets fixed!

really great; works as intended. it was hard to understand how to use "for this tab only" cuz the ui was confusing to me .But when i figured it out, it is awesome. maybe its because i didnt read the description or the options well

Great app for when your favorite song has somewhat of an nsfw cover art. Also, offers per tab control which is a great addition. Very well done!

I used to use use Audio only YouTube extension. But this extension solves every single problem the other one had. I'll recommend this over Audio only YouTube any day.
