I really like this extension. I have tried to contact the developer but have gotten no reply. The issue that I have is that the inport-export functions don't work. I can save the list, but there is no obvious way to load a saved list.

nice design, simple and good

The extension is pretty great, but I ran into one MAJOR issue. Hotkey assignments need to optional! Cmd+M is a hotkey in the extension but also Macs hotkey for minimizing a window. Cmd+, is this extensions quick sort hotkey, it's also the hotkey for subscripts in google docs, AND for mac preferences. Will delete this extension if not resolved :( Google docs is more important and resorting my tabs after quick sort messes them up is not worth the hassle. It's great otherwise, keep it up!

Just the remove-duplicates and sort functions alone make this extension really helpful.

Duplication of windows is a problem. It can't remember if the window being saved is already a saved one. So you end up with multiple copies of the same saved window even if you use the same exact name.

Love it. Makes browsing so much nicer. One little suggestion: to move the "Pause tabs" button away from the "Close tabs" one. I accidentally closed al my tabs instead of pausing them because of an imprecise click.

I would like to buy it but upon trying to get the license it is showing under construction.? May i know when can i buy it.

I would like if it had more sorting options, Like sort per page title, It's currently not very effective on sorting tabs from the same website.

Wow, so far this is really good. I've used a bajillion tab manager extensions, and on a whim enabled this one I installed a long time ago but disabled it (i probably grabbed 3 or 4 extensions to try later) but never enabled/tried it. It's good!

Cluster Tab Manager is everything you could want for Chrome tab management. It's easy to use and you can save windows for later. I typically find myself starting a new chrome window and researching things, like recipes and instead of bookmarking each one I find, I just save the window, tabs and all, in Cluster Tab so I can come back to it later.

HASN'T BEEN UPDATED IN YEARS !!! WHAT IS GOING ON

This was the first one I tried when looking to get a better tab management experience over what you get out of the native controls offered by Chrome now ( Cmd+Shift+A ). Over all, I'm very pleased. The only thing that I feel is missing is that it doesn't pick up or use the window names that Chrome has built in. If you click on the Window menu in Chrome, there is an option for "Name Window". If you do so, it will appear by that name in the window list in Chrome, but the name doesn't show up in Cluster.

This is literally Tabmanager.io, but WORSE IN EVERY WAY. It doesn't have a "Open New Tab" option. It doesn't have a "Save session" option, that let's you save all the currently open tabs from all the currently open browser windows. It doesn't have an "Export session windows" option. It doesn't have a "import from file" option. The only thing it has over Tabmanager.io is that is has an option for expanding and collapsing all the open windows...

A MUST HAVE EXTENSION

One of the best tab managers, if not the best tab manager. Please add the options to open a saved window in the current window, to open a tab in a new tab when clicked, and to undo when you just removed a tab or window.

That's the way to do it! wonderful chrome plugin to get tabs organized. Could be nice to work with chrome's lame "tab group" feature - it could work well together. But regardless - thank you devs!

A wonderful extension. I use this constantly to keep track of all my open tabs and windows. I do find it indispensable and have no issues at all with it.

It used to work great, tab deduplication was awesome, but it seems to have been abandoned. I was waiting for cloud sync to become available, but it seems that it was too good to be true. The only export formats are either CSV or JSON, but sadly no HTML, so you could open the document in the browser.

I was so excited to find what seemed like a better onetab, and that supports cloud syncing. Of course syncing is a premium feature, and I clicked the buy button so fast... and guess what... NOPE! Can't buy it, and this hasn't been updated since 2019. It's an abandoned project. You get 1 star just for wasting my time.

I do like this extension a lot. I tried about 4 tab managers before finally settling on this one as the best. I can only say that it suits me, and is a very useful piece of software for me. You can do things like mute any tabs or make them hibernate so you can have a lot of tabs open and save memory space in the RAM. You can also save a whole window of tabs and bring it back to life later on. I really need this kind of tab manager for the work I do. I'd be lost without it. As I said, I did try 4 or 5 tab managers and they were all OK, but this one was the best for me.

I really like this tab manager. REALLY. But it looks like it has been abandoned. I did a power wash on one of my chromebooks and the information is stored locally. I hadn't realized that the info wasn't syncing. Oh well. There is an option for a paid version that syncs but its "under construction" and the last date is August 2019. I hope he and his family survived CoVid okay. Any idea how we might urge the developer to please come back and help all of us OCD types who go tab crazy to please come back and save our tabs (and our minds)? I will look at the other tab managers but the last time I looked most of them just weren't easy or straight forward enough. This one has all the basics and if it had syncing or cloud storage it would be 5 stars. cheap as I am I would pay for the premium version. Also if he isn't updating to keep up with Chrome OS changes, at some point, this will become unusable.

Lifesaver for when I have 50 tabs poorly organized across 4 windows and want to go to bed without killing my computer overnight

There's no information about their privacy practices, but the extension has the badge for following best practices as well as the badge for "publishers who are verified and demonstrates compliance with our developer program policies"???

I like everything about this but one thing is why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars. I would like to be able to rename the Windows. I tried saving the group of tabs in a Window on the extension and naming it but when I see it in Window Manager it still shows only "Window 4". I even tried refreshing but it does not give the Window a name. I tried going to the Window and renaming it but in Window Manager it still only shows "Window 4". If the Window Manager allowed you to name the Windows that would make this a total 5 star.

works great until it loses all saved data

I am a tab hoarder, ADHD person and an extreme browser. I use anywhere from 50, to 4000 tabs. It's a curse and this plugin makes it easier to close tabs I KNOW I should've closed. The search at the top is powerful, the ability to close only the search results is wonderful, it's fairly fast. I use this in conjunction with several other tab management tools but this thing really helps me clean out hundreds of tabs I could've closed, without accidentally closing hundreds of ones, I did genuinely mean to get back to. I can't recommend it enough, infact I clicked the about link to find a spot to donate, thank you for 'getting it right' I love this app but I can not emphasize just how much I detest the "close window" button (per "current window) in the active Windows tabs. I've lost countless WINDOWS of hundreds of tabs, because of this button, far too close to another X, without an "are you sure" - it's the only flaw with this software. I've emailed them, I'll paypal $20 to disable it, it's bad bad bad design.

great app however night theme is bad not useable change color and if there was a grouping system for suspended tabs it would b much better and if possible to comeback to the group lator it would b awusome

Cluster, like many tab managers, is intrusive and dangerous to use, especially if you have a lot of tabs open. Because of an inadvertent move on my part, Cluster deleted all of my windows except two (I had a lot open) and all but a few of my tabs. Nothing I tried restored them. I don't believe it was a bug; I think this is Cluster's "normal" behavior. I recommend against even trying Cluster. After trying most of the tab managers in the Chrome store, I've come to the conclusion that tabXpert and Tab Outliner are the only ones worth trying. Both are better than Cluster for sure.

This has potential to be my go-to tab manager, but WHY CANT I PURCHASE A LICENSE? Website has been "under construction" for a month? two months? I'm |---this---| close to switching to another manager with the feature set that I require. I'm more than happy to pay for things that work, but I get discouraged rather quickly when I'm not even able to but what's supposedly for sale. I'm seeing comments referring to this being released to open source community, maybe I'm just late to the party and need to go check github before I open my big mouth and leave mediocre 3-star reviews. will update if opensource solutions is available with 'licensed features' that were advertised on extensions web-store description implemented. If not, on to the next one.

One tab extension is better than this. Because it isn't working on kiwi-browser kiwi-browser running on most updated chromium. Basically we need to provide collect error permission to make it work like other common tab manager extension. But it isn't detecting any tab at all.

Windows and Tabs all accounted for, easy to scan and pick a tab. Almost easy to save a backup. Great Suspender got suspended in FEB 2021, that's not good. Cloud sync sounds great but Under Construction????

This extension is the definition of productivity. Indispensable for people like me, with hundreds of tabs.

Compared with other tab managers, this has the advantage of working! A bit simpler design, perhaps, but it works. I like things that work. It does what it says with no surprises. The suspend feature is useful and the window manager tab is well-designed.

How is there not an option to add new tabs to a saved window/cluster? That is so basic and leaves the application almost useless. I find this shocking, almost surreal.

The extension could be 5 stars. But for my use case at least, there is just two thing missing: 1) RENAMING of the WINDOWS in the Active Windows section, as whiteout a name is very difficult to identify them. 2) Re-Arranging of the Windows manually. That way, I can have an order that I like. For example, I can have a: CHAT Window (one tab for google chat and another for whatsapp) CALENDAR Window (personal and work tabs) EMAILS Window (personal and work tabs) PROJECT1 Window (and many tabs) PROJECT 2 Window (and some other tabs) DOCUMENTATION Window (and many more tabs) LEISURE Window (with other tabs). Option 1 Can be done on the Saved Windows, but I have 64GB of RAM, I don't want my windows to be closed and reopened, mainly because that prevents me to have chat notifications, for example. I wish they you implemented this two very simple (IMHO) options.

Exactly what you're looking for. This is the second tab manager extension I downloaded and it will be the last. It has sorting, merging, and domain sectioning. What more can you want. 10/10

Very capable, though I think it should be autosaving new tabs when a previously saved Window is used. Nice work ! I do not know if it is intentional but drag&drop does not wok when the tabs are sorted by domains.

As someone who always has too many tabs open this extension is a serious sanity saver! I love that I can simply choose to save all the tabs in a window and close it without any fear of losing what I was doing. Loves: - I can create and save windows for doing particular tasks, and open them when I need them with a couple of clicks - if I get tab overwhelm I can simply save and close windows really quickly and come back to sort them out later Wish list: - ability to sync saved windows across devices (my biggest wish) - option to 'save window as' in the extension menu, instead of having to open the window manager to do this - select 2+ windows in the window manager and click a button to merge them - double-click a window name in the open window box, instead of having to click once and then on the open button

Great extension. One feature which will be super useful to add is: when saving the window, also save the name of the window. So next time, when the window is open, user doens't have to rename it (customized name Chrome allows user to set on a window)

It works like a charm when you set the mouse to open Cluster (CTRL + M) while working on fullscreen ?. It really gave me the way to focus on my current task. Very useful extension ?.

Everything is perfect until it cannot sync??? And the save window doesn't automatically save new tabs I open so I have to delete the old window I saved and then save the current one into a new one. Please improve the extension.

This plugin is a must for anyone like me who has probably 1000+ tabs open in over a dozen browser sessions (core i7 4GHz, 32GB RAM). I can find what I'm looking for so much faster now. I usually try to categorize my sessions to make it easier to look for a tab, however, now that I have this, it is almost moot. But, I should point out, because I see no one else has mentioned it, that if you leave the Cluster tab open all the time, it will chew up your CPU like crazy. It took me a while to narrow it down, but I found that closing the Cluster tab released 30 - 50% of my CPU usage. So, rule of thumb, only open the Cluster tab when you need it.

So simple, yet such a useful extension. How many times have you had several browser windows open, with many tabs in each and simply can't find the page you need to quickly. This plugin makes it easy to get a global view of all browser windows and tabs and quickly switch to one, close tabs and windows from one central place, find the tab that is playing music, etc. Very, very useful extension.

Looks very nice. Would like to see the sync feature implemented. Would be best to see this extension as a cross-browser one! Would like to have a functionality to close or suspend old window when opening a new one. The reason - when a person opens a window, he/she wants to work with it. And an old window is no needed anymore, at least for now. Would like to have a functionality to open a few selected tabs of saved window and to choose if I want to open them in new or current window, and if in new one - then to apply the previous logic. Maybe if would be better to ask a user if he really wants to remove a saved window? As well as the selected tabs? The button can be clicked accidently without a possibility ro revert an action...

I was used to oneTab but this is soooo much better! I wish we could manage tabs by clicking the extension icon instead of opening the window manager, it's a little annoying to not be able to pick what tabs I save/close from anywhere else. It would also be nice to be able to pin or reorganize the saved windows, because I currently have to scroll between my many folders and I don't always remember what I named the window to search for it.

I've tried many browser tab managers. This is by far my favorite! It does exactly what I want to do: move tabs between windows, create new windows with select tab, search all tabs.

This is by far the best way to save tabs and sessions I know on Chrome. This App deserves to be much more known. There are a few features that I hope are added that I would gladly pay for. - Login and Sync saved windows to the cloud - Have a way to Pin a few of the saved sessions on top - A way to reorder the list of windows in the Windows Manager - A way to add a current tab to a saved window As a person who regularly has 100s of tabs open at once, this is a life saver on my sanity and the speed of my computer. This is a real saver. I had trouble managing over 50 tabs at the same time. But this extension saved a lot of hassle. I can categorise and open them only when required. Also when I moved from Windows to Linux, I was like thank god I have this extension to take my tabs to Linux. Its good!

I've never rated a Chrome extension before, but this one is worth it. This has finally allowed me to tame my jungle of tabs. I open lots of tabs on many different topics and hate having to go through them to find the ones I want or figure out which ones I can close. This extension makes it all so simple. I can readily group related tabs into the same window, close duplicate or old tabs, and stash tab groups for later use. Thanks!

DO NOT RELY ON THIS! I made a horrible mistake in that I was using this plugin's Window Manager feature to essentially save collections of related bookmarks for projects and research. It was an amazingly useful tool and I grew very dependent on it. Then one day I clicked Open Window, and ALL MY WINDOWS WERE GONE! I've now lost everything I had saved using this plugin :( do not rely on this. Make sure you have proper bookmarks.

I love this so much! but I wish there was an option to edit the saved pages url and even save pages into them later as well.

This is what I was looking for since long. Helps to organize & locate tabs very well.

Excellent extension, I've been looking for something like Firefox's Simple Tab Groups and I think this comes the closest. Three things I'd love to see: - Given you can chose to use two columns in the window manager it'd be great to have it display Saved Windows in the left column and Active Windows in the right. Having all the main functionality on a single screen would really boost the UX for me. - Having the extension icon pop out a compact version of the window manager instead of the simple menu it does now. This would allow me to manage tabs and windows without even having to move away from the page I'm on. - Custom icons for saved windows! Would love to be able to choose the favicon of the window contains, or upload an image of my own. It's a bit boring seeing the Chrome logo everywhere (and I'm not even using Chrome, I'm running this on Brave). Great job though! To be completely honest I just desperately want a port of Simple Tab Groups, but that uses firefox's Hide Tab functionality which I don't think Chrome provides.

Updating windows (set of tabs) is not easy. Let's say I have a saved window having two tabs inside and I want to add one more tab to this window. I couldn't find an easy way to do this. This would be done by: 1) clicking on the extension logo in the extensions bar and choosing a windows to add into. 2) in Window Manager, dragging and dropping the tabe to add from the Active Windows into a window in Saved Windows. Now it seems that the only way to do this is to open all saved tabs and add the new one(s) to them and save again as a new window. That's insane. Am I missing something? A feature?

I've used many tab organizational chrome extensions from Toby, Tabli, The Great Suspender, The Great Discarder, Duplicate Tabs Closer, Merge Windows, etc......and Cluster literally does EVERYTHING those other competing extensions do. Better yet, it does it in a simpler, more intuitive way. I cannot recommend enough. Although, admittedly, I still keep Duplicate Tab Closer and The Great Discarder extensions active as they have a few extra features that Cluster has yet to incorporate. But alas, overall, Cluster is fantastic. Also, upon looking at Cluster's roadmap notes, it is likely that, in the future, it will include those aforementioned features from The Great Discarder and Duplicate Tabs Closer anyway!

An EXTREMELY useful tool for managing large numbers of tabs! I have been using Cluster for many months and can say that it works REALLY WELL! I have tried other extensions for this purpose and this one is by far the best!

I'd like to be able to name the windows holding the tabs, for example: a "Weather" window, a "COVID-19" window, etc.

So far this looks like it has the potential to be the best tab/session manager out there, I'd love to be able to replace OneTab & FreshStart with this extension, however there are some things missing before it can really be used that way. Feel free to correct me if any of these are available and I just misunderstood usage. 1. Ability to save all windows & their tabs. It looks like I can only do this 1 window at a time with the current version. Check out how FreshStart implements this for an example, it would be amazing to see here. 2. Sync across devices. I currently can't pay you to get this feature, as the page says under construction, please let me pay you for this feature. :) Additional features that would be cool: * UI dropdown from the extension pin showing all windows & tabs with search (like Tabli has) * An option to remove the saved window / tab when restoring it (like OneTab has) * Cross browser compatibility. It would be stellar to see a Firefox addon! * Share all windows & tabs as a webpage (OneTab feature) You really have the most polished UI out there and a lot of excellent features that others don't have (searching, suspending tabs, sorting, reorganizing, merging, syncing, etc) and I'd really love to replace OneTab & FreshStart with this, but 1&2 above make this extension a bit clumsy as a replacement for me. Please let me know when I can pay you for this and play with the sync ability!

Google should acquire this software

I like this extension but it is useless for me without the ability to sync across devices(cloud save). To do this, you have to purhcase a $10 license which I have tried to do but the site always says "We are under construction". Fix your website please!
